Lee Soo Kyung has reportedly received an offer to star in the upcoming Netflix original K-drama You Have Done Well.
On May 12, several industry insiders revealed that Lee Soo Kyung will be joining IU and Park Bo Gum in the upcoming K-drama You Have Done Well. Reports also stated that the actress already met up with the director of the K-drama and will also soon join the script reading.
You Have Done Well will be the next work of director Kim Won Suk (My Mister, Signal, and Misaeng: Incomplete Life) and writer Im Sang Choon (When the Camellia Blooms and Fight for My Way).
The upcoming K-drama will tell the romance story of Ae Soon and Gwan Shik set in the 1950s in Jeju. The story will showcase their life between their childhood and also their present state.
Aside from IU and Park Bo Gum, the upcoming K-drama will also be led by Moon So Ri, Park Hae Joon, Na Moon Hee, and Choi Dae Hoon.
There are no details yet on the possible character of Lee Soo Kyung in the upcoming K-drama.
You Have Done Well will exclusively premiere on Netflix. Reports state that the series will be out in 2025.
If Lee Soo Kyung officially joins You Have Done Well, this will be her first confirmed upcoming K-drama. She was last seen in the 2022 K-drama Adamas led by Ji Sung, Seo Ji Hye, Heo Sung Tae, Oh Dae Hwan, and Lee Kyung Young. The actress also participated in last year's films Dead Man and Yaksha: Ruthless Operations.
Lee Soo Kyung made her acting debut in 2015. She is active both in K-dramas and films. She is known for being part of the K-dramas Ho Goo's Love, Where Stars Land, and Law School.
