Lee Sang Yeob and Kim So Hye will reportedly work together for a new KBS drama.
Several media outlets reported on September 21st that Lee Sang Yeob Kim So Hye will be the main lead of the upcoming KBS drama "Innocent Boxer" (literal translation).
Lee Sang Yeob's agency UNGBIN ENS responded to the reports and revealed that the actor is positively considering the offer. Meanwhile, Kim So Hye's agency S&P Entertainment also stated that the idol actress is also positively considering the offer.
"Innocent Boxer" will base its story on the novel titled "Pure Boxer Lee Kwon Suk."
Lee Sang Yeob got the offer to play the role of a sports agent. There are no details yet on Kim So Hye's character.
The upcoming series will air exclusively air on KBS. Meanwhile, it was not yet revealed when it will premiere.
If Lee Sang Yeob confirms his casting, this will be his follow-up drama after the series "Eve." Meanwhile, the actor will be part of the new Mnet show titled "Artististock Game." Lee Sang Yeob is both active in acting and variety shows.
The actor is known for being a good villain and a protagonist in a romantic drama. He is known for starring in the dramas "On the Verge of Insanity," "Once Again," "While You Were Sleeping," "Signal," "The Innocent Man," "I Live in Cheongdam-dong," "Miss Ripley," "Kokkiri," and more.
Meanwhile, if Kim So Hye also confirms her casting this will be her comeback to acting after a year. She last starred in the 2021 series "Her Bucket List."
