Lee Jong Suk's next project is confirmed to be by "W" director

Lee Jong Suk officially confirms his next K-drama project.

On November 5, Lee Jong Suk's agency Ace Factory announced that the actor is confirming his role in the upcoming tvN K-drama Seocho-dong. The series was reportedly offered to him last September and today, the actor finally confirmed his casting. 

In addition to Lee Jong Suk, actress Mun Ka Young will reportedly join the cast of the upcoming series. 

Seocho-dong will showcase the stories of associate lawyers working at Seocho Judicial Town. 

The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Park Seung Woo (W, Adamas, Kairos, and more) and lawyer Lee Seung Hyun.  

This will be the reunion of Lee Jong Suk and director Park Seung Woo after almost 9 years. The two worked together in the 2016 hit K-drama W. 

Lee Jong Suk will portray the role of An Ju Hyeong. He has been an associate lawyer for 9 years at Seocho Judicial Town. He enjoyed logic and cases, so he decided to be a lawyer. After one incident, his peaceful work and life will crumble.

Seocho-dong is set to premiere in the first half of 2025. It will exclusively air on tvN. 

Seocho-dong will be the grand return of Lee Jong Suk to K-dramas after three years. 

He last starred in the  2022 series Big Mouth alongside Girls Generation's Im Yoon Ah, Kim Joo Heon, Kwak Dong Yeon, Yang Kyung Won, and Ok Ja Yeon. 

This year, he made a special cameo appearance in the movie The Plot which was led by Kang Dong Won, Lee Moo Saeng, Lee Mi Sook, Lee Hyun Wook, Tang Jun Sang, and Kim Hong Pa. 

Lee Jong Suk is best known for leading the K-dramas Romance Is a Bonus Book, While You Were Sleeping, Pinocchio, I Hear Your Voice, School 2013, and more.
