Lee Jong Suk and  Go Min Si will no longer partner in a new K-drama.

On December 26, media outlet Star News released an exclusive report stating that Lee Jong Suk and Go Min Si have decided to decline the upcoming K-drama I'm Against My Romance.

According to the reports, both Lee Jong Suk and Go Min Si have officially declined to star in the series. Previously, actor Choi Hyun Wook also received the offer to star in the series but also decided to not appear in the K-drama.

Because of this, the production team of the K-drama is in the casting process once again. The production team also clarified that the reports of production failure are groundless and they are currently busy with the casting.

I'm Against My Romance will be produced by Studio Dragon. The K-drama will be directed by  Lee Eung Bok who is known for creating the hit K-dramas Sweet Home, Mr. Sunshine, Goblin, and Descendants of the Sun.

The upcoming series will tell the story of two ex-lovers who decide to reunite and rediscover if the relationship is just a continuation or if it's the start of an unfamiliar new relationship.

The upcoming K-drama I'm Against My Romance is scheduled to premiere on tvN in 2024.

This K-drama was supposed to be the comeback K-drama of Lee Jong Suk after two years. Because of this, there's no official news yet on the upcoming project of Lee Jong Suk. The actor was last seen in the 2022 K-drama Big Mouth with Girls Generation's Im Yoon Ah, Kim Joo Heon, Kwak Dong Yeon, Yang Kyung Won, and Ok Ja Yeon.

Meanwhile, Go Min Si recently starred in the Netflix original K-drama Sweet Home Season 2. She will also join the upcoming K-drama Alone in the Woods with Kim Yoon Seok, Yoon Kye Sang, Lee Jung Eun, Ryu Hyun Kyung, and Park Ji Hwan.
