Kim Woo Bin to reportedly return to the small screen with a new drama!

Several media outlets reported on July 2nd that Kim Woo Bin will be the main lead of the upcoming Netflix original series "Delivery Knights."

Kim Woo Bin's agency AM Entertainment confirmed the reports stating that the actor did receive the offer and is currently reviewing the upcoming drama.

Based on a webtoon of the same name, "Delivery Knights" is set in the future wherein air pollution has become severe. In this era, people only rely on delivery services. The upcoming drama will be directed by Cho Eui Seok who also helmed movies such as "Master" and "Cold Eyes."

Kim Woo Bin received the offer to play the role of a refugee who's also the first-ever delivery driver. His character grew up in an ordinary household. The only thing different about him is that his left wrist got planted a QR code due to the mistake of an employee of the Community Service.

Kim Woo Bin, who went on a hiatus in 2017 due to the fight against non-phosphorus cancer, has gradually been making a comeback since announcing his full recovery in 2019.

Kim Woo Bin has stopped acting in dramas due to his fight with nasopharyngeal cancer. He last starred in the 2016 drama "Uncontrollably Fond" with Miss A's Suzy. Now that he has fully recovered, he will now be active in both dramas and movies.

Aside from "Delivery Knights," Kim Woo Bin is also in talks to join the star-studded series "Our Blues" together with Lee Jung Eun, Cha Seung Won, Shin Min Ah, Han Ji Min, Lee Byung Hun, and more. The actor is also set to star in the upcoming movie "Alien + People."

Kim Woo Bin has been active in dramas and movies before he got diagnosed with cancer. He was part of the dramas "Uncontrollably Fond," "We Are Young," "Love Cells," "The Heirs," "School 2013," and more. He was also in several movies like "Twenty," "The Con Artists," and "Friend 2."
