Characters still of actor Jung Sung Il from Unmasked, have been revealed.

Unmasked tells the story of relentless investigative journalists who take on bad guys by shoving a camera in their faces first and asking questions later.

Jung Sung Il is making headlines for his complete transformation into Han Do in Unmasked.

Han Do is a rookie who parachuted his way into the investigative journalism program Trigger. After enduring a grueling life in the drama department, Han Do has lost his faith in humanity and lives believing humans betray but animals don't.

From the very first day Han Do joins the investigative journalism program Trigger, which he never wanted to be part of, he shows he's like oil and water, unable to blend in. To Han Do, Oh So Ryong is like an alien. Oh So Ryong (Kim Hye Soo), the team leader of Trigger who dreams of a beautiful world and is devoted to exposing the bad guys, constantly clashes with Han Do. However, as they cover a series of chaotic and dramatic incidents together, Han Do finds himself, almost without realizing it, becoming an integral part of the eccentric and fiercely determined Trigger team.

In particular, Han Do, who had previously kept his distance from others with his polite yet, in a way, rude conduct, is expected to captivate viewers as he gradually becomes a part of the Trigger team and undergoes a complete transformation, both externally and internally.

Regarding his character, Jung Sung Il described Han Do as "a character who grows revealing layers one by one. He's someone who, after joining the Trigger team, experiences a shift in his values about people and the world."

Director Yoo Seon Dong added, "Through Unmasked, audiences will be captivated by Jung Sung Il's diverse expressions, sides, and multifaceted charm that haven't been seen before. Global viewers will discover a new side of him."

Unmasked is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ on January 15, 2025, and will release a total of 12 episodes, with two episodes airing per week.
