The upcoming KBS drama "Bad Prosecutor" will begin airing this October.
On September 5th, the whole cast of "Bad Prosecutor" attended the first script reading. It was also confirmed that the series will officially air on October 5th.
"Bad Prosecutor" will revolve around prosecutor Jin Jung, known for his bad manners and delinquency. He doesn't care about proper procedures as long as he can stop the corruption of authorities.
The series will be led by Doh Kyung Soo, Lee Se Hee, Joo Bo Young, Lee Si Eon, Kim Sang Ho, Ha Joon, Yun Joon Suk, and more. It will be the collaboration work of director Kim Sung Ho ("Move to Heaven") and writer Im Young Bin ("Sketch").
The production team of the drama shared, "From the script reading of the drama, the great acting chemistry and solid acting skills from the casts are already evident. We ask for your interest in the upcoming drama 'Bad Prosecutor' which will break the frustrating reality at once."
"Bad Prosecutor" will air its first episode on October 5th at 9:50 PM KST. It will exclusively air on KBS2.
Doh Kyung Soo will play the role of Prosecutor Jin Jung. He has bad manners and chooses delinquency over sincerity to stop the corruption of the authorities. He also doesn't follow standard procedures and uses different tricks and methods to stop corruption.
Lee Se Hee on the other hand will play the role of Shin Ah Ra, the senior prosecutor at the Central District Prosecutors' Office. She has a tsundere charm.
Ha Joon will play the role of Oh Do Wan. He is an elite who passed the bar exam at the age of 22. He is an ambitious person who will do anything at any cost.
Meanwhile, supporting roles Kim Sang Ho will give life to the role of Park Jae Kyung. He is the head of the mysterious civil service center. Lee Si Eon will play the role of Go Joong Do, a hacker with outstanding skills. Yeon Sang Seok will play the role of Lee Cheol Ki, a reliable prosecutor who will work alongside prosecutor Jin Jung. Lastly, Choi Kwang Il will play the role of Lee Jang Won, the authoritative prosecutor at the Central District Prosecutors' Office.
