  • Ryu Seung Beom (39) announced through his agency that he would tie the knot with his non-celebrity Slovakian girlfriend of three years, after the birth of their first child, which is expected to be soon.   • Jay Park's agency H1GHR Music and its artists have collectively donated $21,000 to various organizations for the Black Lives Matter movement. ~ Twitter
  • BTS and their agency Big Hit Entertainment donated $1,000,000 to the Black Lives Matter movement. ~ Variety

  • Rain will donate all of his earnings from his Fall-Winter modelling job with Levi's Strauss Korea to women in need, and his donation will be used to provide sanitary napkins for disadvantaged women who are currently facing hardships due to COVID-19. ~ Naver

  • BLACKPINK's Lisa had been swindled out of 1 billion won (~$816,000) by her former manager, who used the money for his gambling addiction. The manager has been since then fired, and in accordance with Lisa's wishes, some of the money has already been reimbursed, and the rest will be paid back through a repayment schedule. Market News, Newsen
  • Former High School Rapper contestant No:el, received a suspended sentence of two years on probation with an additional 40 hours of courses on driving laws, after he was found guilty for driving under the influence which caused a collide with a motorcycle in the early hours on September 7th, 2019. The motorcyclist suffered light injuries, while No:el didn't, however, in order to avoid trouble, the rapper also tried to shift the blame to his friend and called him up to come and pretend that he was the one driving instead. Seeing that the victim and the rapper reached a settlement soon after and that No:el also came forward and turned himself on the same day of the accident, the court gave him a lighter sentence. ~ Naver
  • The court upheld its original ruling of two years and six months of prison that is suspended for three years of probation for Kang Ji Hwan at the appeal trial held on June 11th, 2020 for his sexual assault committed against two of his female staff members in summer of 2019. ~ Soompi, Naver
