Glamorous Temptation

Joo Sang Wook (The Man in the Mask, Birth of a Beauty), Choi Kang Hee (Heart to Heart, Protect the Boss), and Cha Ye Ryeon (My Lovely Girl, Golden Rainbow) will star in MBC’s new Monday and Tuesday drama starting October 5 after Hwajeong ends.  The director is Kim Sang Hyub who has also directed several popular dramas including Royal Family and Cinderella Man.  The writer is Son Young Mok who also wrote Golden Rainbow and May Queen (Best Screenplay 2012 MBC drama awards).   Nam Joo Hyuk (Who Are You: School 2015, Surplus Princess), Kim Sae Ron (To Be Continued, High School-Love On), and KimBo Ra (Who Are You: School 2015, Mother’s Garden) will also be in the drama.

Shin Eun Soo (Choi Kang Hee), Kang Il Joo (Cha Ye Ryeon) and Jin Hyeong Woo (Joo Sang Wook) are classmates.  Both girls are in love with Hyeong Woo.  Eun Soo has an extraordinary sense of touch at a very young age and becomes a working mom that lives in a rooftop room.  She struggles to pay off the debt that her husband left behind.  Il Joo reenters her life as an adult also.

There wasn’t a lot of plot info that I could find.  I don’t know how that sense of touch is related to their adult hood.  Apparently Eun Soo and Il Joo end up being stepmother and daughter (not sure which is which).  Hyeong Woo seeks revenge, but I’m unsure how that is related to either women.

TRAILERS

Honestly, my favorite genre is makjang and I can’t wait to watch this.  Plus, I like the actors, writer and director.

Starting Now, Cheer Up!

TRAILERS

Although I am honestly not that into school dramas.  This one looks like a lot of fun with an excellent cast.  I always think school dramas are better when the cast is younger.  Lee Min Ho and Kim Woo Bin may be good looking but they are past the age of looking like high schoolers.  Of course that just means that I am looking at cutie Ji Soo who is only 22 which makes me a serious pervy noona.  Anyway, I will probably watch it.

Six Flying Dragons

Yoo Ah In (Secret Love Affair, Jang Ok Jung), Kim Myung Min (A New Leaf, King of Dramas), Shin Se Kyung (The Girl Who Sees Scents, Blade Man), Byun Yo Han (Ex-Girlfriend Club, Incomplete Life), Yoon Gyun Sang (The Time We were Not in Love, Pinocchio), and Chun Ho Jin (Bluebird House, Doctor Stranger) are the main cast of SBS new sageuk drama Six Flying Dragons which will start October 5 on Monday and Tuesday after Mrs. Cop ends.  The director, Shin Kyung Soo and Screenwriters Kim Young Hyun and Park Sang Yeon worked together on SBS 2011 drama Tree with Deep Roots.  Shin Se Kyung also worked with the screenwriters in The Great Queen Seondeok.

TEASERS

I am all in with this cast.  I am not a huge Sageuk lover, but I love this cast besides Shin Se Kyung, but she has grown on me somewhat.  Plus I heard she is really good in The Great Queen Seondeok.   Plus, I can't say enough about my love for Yoo Ah In.  I can't wait for this drama to start.

Hyeri (Hyde, Jekyll, MeTasty Life), Ryu Hye Yeong (Spy), Park Bo Gum (I Remember YouTomorrow's Cantabile) and Go Gyeong Pyo (Potato Star 2013Flower Boy Next Door) are just a few of the cast of the new Reply series drama by tvN, Reply 1988.  It will begin on October 23, Friday and Saturday after Second Time Twenty Years Old ends.  It is inspired by MBC drama from 1986 called Under the Same Roof.  The director, Shin Won Ho, and writer, Lee Woo Jung worked together on the other Reply series dramas.

I couldn't find much on the plot, but every source pretty much said the same thing.  "Reply 1988" will not be exactly like the other dramas. According to producer Shin Won Ho, the story will not focus on first love but on five families who live in the same neighborhood in 1988

and a video of pics from the script reading:

I have watched a lot of Lee Dong Wook because I absolutely adore him.  I think he is so cute when he smiles, so I'm guessing from the trailer that this is going to be cute and funny and he will be smiling a lot.  I also like Jung Ryeo Won a lot.  She is too pretty and was great in History of the Salaryman.  It looks like I will be watching this one also.
