I feel like this isn't THE movie for everyone, but if you have gone through any of the things in the movie, it will have a big impact on you. Even though I loved it I feel like it's one time movie. But not sure though, may watch it again in few years. I really recommend everyone to atleast watch the first 15 minutes of it.
PS. the OST was aweeeesome!

It might sound boring, but it doesn't hurt watching a more realistic movie once in a while ;)
It might not be a good movie to those who prefer romantic or dramatical movies.
The movie plot doesn't really evolve. It's about fighting for justice from beginning to end, but i still don't think it's a bad movie.
I have to say that there is no romance involved. Only fighting for your rights. But some moments had me tear up. Sad and touching moments :')
The actors are very good at getting their characters emotions out. I have to say, that i watched the movie because of Kyungsoo... BUT he actually doesn't have that big of a role :P but he was very good in the scenes he was in kkk he really shined~ <3
The music is good and fitting for the scenes. Gosh i just love the track that Kyungsoo sang in the end <3 (yeah yeah, kyungsoo, kyungsoo and more kyungsoo~)
As for rewatching, i'm not really the kind of person to rewatch a drama or movie :P And this drama isn't really worth rewatching, as you probably will remember what happened, because it's about the same thing throught the whole movie :P And it might be boring to watch again. But whatever floats your boat~
All in all i think it's a fine movie. Different people have different opinions, so it's not something for everyone :P

"They'll tire of it, they're just women"
Cart was loosely based on the 2007 E-Land strike that went on for 510 days. Workers were striking against the corporation abusing irregular workers, not promoting them to regular work, not paying for overtime and most egregiously, a whole sale firing of workers for cheaper alternatives and to avoid promoting workers under the Irregular Employment Protection Act of 2006. Most of the irregular workers were women over the age of 30. Cart focused on women fighting not only for their jobs but their dignity and fair pay.Han Sun Hee was close to being promoted to regular employee at the store after five long years. With a husband who traveled to find construction work, a teenage son and young daughter, her income was vital to the family. Lee Hye Mi was a single mother of a little boy and needed the job but refused to work unpaid overtime. One day everyone received a text message stating their contracts would no longer be honored. Hye Mi and older cleaner Kang Sun Rye gathered everyone to form a union and asked Sun Hee to help them lead it. Management refused to meet with the women, viewing them as “whining” and that there was nothing to worry about because, “They’ll tire of it. They’re just women.” Upper management couldn’t see what the problem was because the low pay was considered “pocket change” to them. The women were viewed as disposable and less than human. When the workers went on strike, the company played hardball utilizing brutal enforcers and police riot squads.
Cart had a strong cast. Yeom Jung Ah and Moon Jung Hee as cashiers, labor leaders, and Unnies gave heartfelt performances. Kim Kang Woo as assistant manager and labor leader Dong Jun added the one positive male portrayal. The story seemed unfocused at times and when an older lady told a speaker to put what he was saying in simple language, I repeated, “What she said!” Because I wasn’t familiar with the abusive working conditions and E-Land strike I ended up hitting Wikipedia to fill in the gaps. There were also events the writer failed to explain exactly what happened and it could feel like pieces of story were taped together with no connective material.
In my own country I’ve seen how people fighting to be seen, to be treated fairly, and paid fairly can run up against the wall of political or corporate bureaucracy. Goliath has the money and resources for long, drawn out fights. In the film, the women not only had to face a huge corporation, they failed to garner public support even after jackbooted enforcers pummeled them and tore down their encampments. Large corporations often have an easier time gaining the ear of reporters than disgruntled ahjummas. But when the chips are down, my money will always be on the fierceness of ahjummas, especially ahjummas willing to battle for 510 days to secure better and more fair employment.

The only thing that really MOVED me about this movie was ACTINGS ! they were totally great and inspiring. Specially KIM KANG WOO who's a chairman who UNBELIEVABLY gives up on everything he has (money, position etc.) to join a union of some ladies who've been fired unfairly ! To me , this was the most inspiring part of movie "Somethings ARE worth fighting for" ! Although this fight against unfairness could be made even better ! the story moves in one simple line and this might cause some to get bored and even DROP it ! but to me , the actings didn't allow me to !
Totally , it worths once until twice times watching ! but still I insist the whole idea was a good one , But the storyline could go better , more active , more intresting and more REALISTIC ! (I know it's based on a true story but some details looked UN-REAL) When it comes to TRUE stories the real skill of a proffesional screenwriter is to make the story more exciting while keeping the idea - let's say - unchanged ! Enjoy the actings ! and if you are a FAN of D.O , I must say despite his small role he SHINED in this movie ^^

It was a rollercoaster of emotions and that it's based off a true story makes it much more better. The acting, the story everything was so unbelievable good and it had me glued to this movie.
All in all: A fantastic movie.

Okay so i know lot of people waited for this movie like months because of one actor/singer Do Kyungsoo from popular band EXO. But we are here to rate a movie so i can't only watch his beautiful face right? Let's get down and think about this movie. See it through my eyes.STORY:
The story can be rated as the most horrible movie ever. If you have different opinion that's your problem but look at it. The story has absolutely no point at all. As i can't say spoilers i just say that whole movie is about the same thing and the plot won't move from the place. I waisted my time for this movie. I will never watch it because the point is hidden and let me clear it...i DON'T see any point in this movie at all! As in the description '' the team of sellers fight for justice'' oh come on. They fight WHOLE movie and at the end it's not solved and it's all unrealistic! If it was normal situation NORMAL people who's company did something illegal would sue the company and the police would arrest them. No, these ladies as all team of sellers were ladies did something also illegal and than they were shocked why they ended up the bad way! Well i was cursing whole movie because simply boring/unrealistic/stupid/not-moving-plot was there. If u enjoy the slow plot with NO reason than go ahead and watch it i'm not stopping u. I saw lot of movies guys but this was the worst. I thought it would be full of life and a bit action so the plot would go on but no plot change at all...nothing. I expected so much from this movie but i ended up dissapointed!
ACTING:
Acting was great as the actors were proffesionals but they could do whatever and still the movie was bad. U can't watch good acting with good plot. Many viewers wanted to mostly see Kyungsoo BUT i counted that our Kyung had only about 8 screen shots? So that's very little. I was impressed how good he can act so point for that one. Other actors were also great as i saw them before.
MUSIC:
Was there any? My favourite part from this movie is...THE CREDITS! Sorry but Kyungsoo's voice is the best at the end and actually light me up and not like the movie that was boring as hell.
REWATCH VALUE:
None...u can bash me/curse me but i won't change my mind. Show me one thing that you learned from this movie except doing illegal things and fighting! Only the kid actors were cute and had a point!

An increidbly heartwrenching watch.. Free Palestine
Watching this as there is an ongoing genocide in Gaza gave the movie an even wider depth. The movie based on a real-life event was hard to bear knowing that injustices such as those presented are unfolding everywhere around the world with no real accountability. The law protects the rich from the poor. From global human rights being denied to people of color to labor rights being denied to workers at the bottom of the chain. All this happens while those in power don't soil their hands and give orders so that the weak, brainwashed and braindead, are punishing the weaker.
Movies are beautiful as such, they challenge you to think. At times they are entertaining but most often they are bare-boned with the purpose of evoking a human response and reaction of anyone who cares about humanity.
"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." Please, if you read this, take the time to fight injustices you can change. Speak loud enough so the weak aren't silenced so that the news has no choice but to show your side too. Free Palestine.
