A quirky coed uni friend group obsessed with aliens, the supernatural, and other inexplicable phenomena? Check. An actual supernatural who then ends up crossing paths with said friend group? Check. Comedy? Check. Loveable idiocy? Check. Five dollars and a dream? You better believe it.

1000 Years Old and Ghost Host, Ghost House are both BL (LGBTQ+) stories with supernatural elements to them. Neither of them have really intense scenes despite this. They both involve a romance where one MC is clearly interested in the seemingly oblivious other ML and it takes a while to communicate these feelings. Both are very easy to binge watch and have likeable side/support characters.

Side note: 1000 Years Old is focused on the vampire aspect of the supernatural world with hints of ghosts being present whereas Ghost Host, Ghost House mainly focuses on the ghostly side of the supernatural with hints to magick.
