Heartbreaking ?
I don't like the ending. There should have been a twist where they really pursue what their heart wants. ? I am a fan of Xiaoyao and Xiang Liu tandem but also wants to see if Cangxuan would pursue Xiaoyao since there is a promise made that the two of them will protect the Zhaoyun Peak. The director could have given them the chance or anything that sparkle between Xiang Liu or even Cangxuan.. It's just so sad. ? It makes my heart break. I hope there's Season 3 of this series. The story is great that I would like to crave more of it. I like the series. I love it actually. I'm just disappointed as my favorite characters are always holding back their feelings. Please give the 9 head demon a chance please ??. I felt bad for him. ? It's so heartbreaking. Hope the ending would end up Xiaoyao and Cangxuan together.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

Quels acteurs brillants ! What stunning actors!
This season 2 is different from season 1, with the emphasis on the characters and a chance to see just how brilliant the actors are! There are tragic scenes played out magnificently by Yang Zi and Zhang Wan Yi, but also crying scenes by Tan Jian Ci who is truly breathtaking in his role! You'll have to get out your handkerchief for this season, not everyone has a happy ending! This season has some really tough moments that are so well acted, it's impossible to be insensitive! Once again, the production is very good, and the costumes, jewellery and scenes are magnificent!

Lost you forever, a fitting title
Lost You Forever is such a fitting title for this drama. In this s2 part of the drama, XY is quoted saying "What is gained cannot compensate for what is lost" and this holds for all the main characters. They have all gained something in the end, but at what cost? For some characters, the gains seem to greatly outweigh the cost but for most, that is not the case. This lesson from this drama is one that I think will stick with viewers for a long time. However, my only gripe with this show is that they made a very important and character-defining moment between CX and XY meaningless by making it all a tea dream of sorts. All that emotional angst that so many people were looking forward to turned into nothing. Due to that, I can't give this show a 10/10. I will say though, the acting was amazing.
So, the question remains, do I recommend season 2? Yes, but not as much as season 1. A little disappointed but still worth the watch.

Lost You Forever depicts the upheaval of a meeting, togetherness, and separation. A Very Epic Drama
To be honest, the second season is not as grand as the first season and does not show all parts of the novel because the reality is that the production house may have limitations to show all the extraordinary scenes in the novel. I myself as a reader of the novel was disappointed because there was a scene that felt less precise or hastily compressed into one. But after watching the drama till the end of the episode, I became more understanding of the intention of the author who wanted to pack this story into a more complete one. This drama get me hooked because it's main story that depicts the reality of how we were all wanderers who travel, wanderers who each have past wounds and then meet each other, either heal each other then decide to separate because the direction you want to go is different, or decide to wander together because both have the same direction that packaged in a strong storyline, complex character background, growth, and dynamics, beautiful cinematography, stunning music, and great actress and actors. Lost you forever depicts the upheaval of a meeting, togetherness, and separation. A very epic drama. Worth to watch and rewatch.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

Worth your time
Although waiting for months (not for a year if i were to start on S1 earlier while it just came out) to see the continuation because of the stupid rule is a pain in one’s bum, im still very much enjoyed the continuation. The part 2 is mostly mellow though compared to part 1, mainly because all the climax and flirting already happened in part 1 and it feels like there were only a few strands left to be tighten up (or maybe thats because i’ve been spoiled so much prior to watching? Lol)Yang Zi was fabulous in this as usual, but the story really was made more awesome by good acting from her male leads as well, mostly CX, jing and XL, not so much on FL though since his part is not that much compared to the other 3. Good job to these actors. Though it was such a bum to see how XY’s wedding was not so grand and lavish or how much cartoonish the fight scene that took Jing away for almost 1/3rd of the Jing’s presence in part 2. XL’s death scene was appropriately set up, worthy of his role.
All in all, it was clear to see how CX is only destined to be there beside XY as her gege/protector (though I was surprised to see they were able to make CX confess the truth to XY prior to her wedding) and it was only Jing who can put everything away and put XY first whatever comes. Xiang liu, even though he may love her as well, is not a man who can leave everything behind to be beside XY like Jing can, so the only virtuous way he can show his love to XY is by making it possible for someone who loves her as well to be with her to the end, and to protect her silently from the shadow. Feng Long is just there for the ride though. Lol. He’s just a convenient suitor when the other 3 guys were in a mess. Lol. Sorry feng long!
OST are chef kiss! Not sure about rewatching this though. Maybe later. Now, on to the next drama!

Don't expect too much
I will keep it short. What we expected from S2 was a more complete story. What we got was alot of lackluster moments. I truly expected a grand face off between the demon and the king in battle...but nothing happened there. I expected a true face off between Jing and his brother but also nothing happened there. I expected more people to try to kill the king...also nothing. I expected less moments directed to toward Xiaoyue especially since a war is going on. I expected more cultivation moments of power...they are immortal but they acted extremely human.Honestly, I expected some grand moments but it was all okay. The only surprising moment was when Xiaoyue and Cang tried to kill each other. It woke me up. Look it ended the way we thought but if this had been in the hands of lesser actors ...it would have failed. The biggest surprise was the ML incredible acting...everything showed on his face and then nothing showed on his face. The ML and FL actors truly fostered each talents. I liked the story but it lacks the do or die moments that cdramas are famous for however the actors did their best to make up for it.

Gotta Love This Crew
I have read some scathing reviews on other sites which baffles me. Thank goodness this was not like Joy To Life S2 which was not to my liking. I didn't finish that drama, but I am very happy with this one. I am glad it is not exactly the same vibe as S1. It's a little darker. The tears have fallen on the last two episodes I've watched. I still have Ep. 22 to 25 to go. I am all in on this story and will hate to see it end. I wish Jianci had been in more episodes. I think brother got way obsessed and I actually found myself hating him and filled with disgust. Zhang Wan Yi is a great actor. His eyes show a lot of emotion. Everyone acted great. In a few months I will watch both seasons again.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
This drama will never be lost forever
What can I say? This drama was everything I had hoped for, in Yang zi’s growing career. I loved the first half more than the second half as it stayed true to the novel and didn’t let fangirls of certain actors/ characters ruined the plot line. I still will rate this drama high as spite the ridiculous changes to feed certain characters/ fans. It still was pretty good. The whole cast did an amazing job even the bad guys who you can’t help but relate to most of them. The musical score was amazing and so was the CGI. Everything was perfect in the first half which will always hold a dear spot inside my heart. The second half was nice but not as good as the first half. Again I still think this drama is a 10.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

good ending
All 3 love her and are willing to die for her. However they have their own destinies. Cang Xuan chose the throne and world peace over Xiao Yao. Xiang Liu chose to stay and fight to death with his comrades than to roam around the world with her. Only Jing is willing to give up his clan to be with her. He is willing to do anything for her happiness. The life she wanted was a simple life to roam the world and compiled the medical books. I love the ending.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

Why season 2 is worth watching
This is not a detailed review, because a lot has been covered by others. Mostly, it is a justification for why, despite the lackluster editing and the clumsy plot, it is worth spending time to watch the second season. Readers beware, there are spoilers and a bias due to personal preferences for happy endings. The best thing about season 2 is that all the main characters get a closure congruent with their past and their personality. Season 2 is a long winding road to reap what was sown in season 1. There is no surprise, but still many shining moments with deeply moving scenes and great dialogs. The psychological journey of the main characters is beautifully crafted over the two seasons.
The horse I bet on to meet the happy ending requirement was Jing. He is the kind of man with whom you can build a life both joyful and productive. The drama understated how YX and him contributed to the greater good by working on the medical encyclopedia. It is a homage to Li Shizhen’s Compendium of Materia Medica and more could have been done with it to showcase Jing genius in logistics. Thankfully, Yang Zi acting was on point on key scenes to justify her choice, and she explained it in the ''dream sequence'' with CX. It goes all the way back to that moment when Jing sheltered her from the candle wax. She realized that what he endured did not destroy his compassion and kindness. The two other MLs came out of their past able of great ruthlessness and brutality, and XY was at the receiving end many times.
Deng Wei did the best with the material given to paint a resourceful, kind and nurturing man. His own closure comes when he affirmed with conviction that he is the better man, despite loosing the physical fight with his brother. He is beaten, but not humiliated. The two others leading actors, especially Zhang Wan Yi, had more intense and complex scenes to showcase their acting skills. Plot wise, the dream scene when CX confronts his obsession with YX was clumsy, but his acting was fantastic. It is only when he is driven at the edge of sanity that CX realized how selfish is his obsession. It can only destroy the happiness of XY.
The only genuinely tragic ending in a classical sense is Xiang Liu. It is congruent with his inflexibility, which he confused with loyalty. The choice him and his foster father made is a suicide pact, ending also with the pointless death of all their soldiers, rather than letting go of the past. As it was said in the first season, they had no territory to defend and no people to protect. He had his chances at happiness, but he refused to take XY hand when she offered it. He could survive and get out of the fighting ring physically, but he never escaped it psychologically. By contrast, the Great Emperor and the King of Haoling knew what the changing times demanded for the greater good, and they were able to move on and lead fulfilling life out of the limelight. In conclusion, despite all its flaws, season 2 brought successfully all the characters at the end of their journey.

Pick Your Poison: The Reverse Harem Roulette
Let's dive into this delightful mess of a drama where choosing a male lead is like playing Russian roulette with your heart.First up, we have Mr. Polygamist, who collects concubines like like they're Pokémon cards. Blink, and you'll miss another wedding.
Then, we have Mr. Green Flag, the meticulous and stoic male lead. Supposedly the dream guy, right? Except his specialty is making the female lead cry and disappoint her. For some mysterious reason, she keeps giving him second chances. Why? Your guess is as good as mine.
And let's not forget Mr. Can't-Express-Feelings. They keep us on edge, teetering on the brink of confession, but never quite get there. I was this close to grabbing them as dolls and making them kiss each other!
Now, let’s not forget the journey of the female lead. It has so many ups and downs that it's quite unlike any story development I've ever seen—like a rollercoaster designed by a toddler on a sugar high.
I devoured season one, blissfully ignorant of the novel’s twisty ending. I was rooting for my favorite male lead. then, the second season was announced, and my patience ran out. I read the novel, and boy, did I dodge a bullet there!
To those who like to gamble with their patience, watch at your own risk. Nothing will prepare you for the end—unless, of course, you've read the novel and you're here for the angst, to torture yourself, and maybe enjoy some eye candy. It's okay, I don't judge. Enjoy!

This is not a trauma drama it is a frustrating drama
This drama is so frustrating, if you want to be frustrated then please watch otherwise don't , first i will talk about the appearance of of the heroine her appearance could've been better the crown she has put on during her wedding looks so ugly on her , not only in this she was looking ugly in many of the scenes, the dressing didn't match with her which resulted making her appearance not likable,And the character tushan jing is so weak, i don't think he is fit to be a main character, anyone could kill him easily it is good to have a pure heart but it should have a limit, everything is good when it is under limit, he can only and die , he will die hundred times xiaoyao will be sad hundread time and we will watch their weak , trash chemistry hundred times this totally nonsense, the plot would've been great without tushan jing,
The graphics is a another trash in this drama, some of the scenes looks so unreal in this drama especially the place where Xiang liu sits a shell like structure seat, this doesn't look real at all whenever is see that seat I feel like I'm watching a poor budget drama and the sea ? looks so unreal , the legend of Shen sea scenes looks so real, the acting of the cast is so great meanwhile some characters of this drama is so frustrating, it is ok if a side character is frustrating but if a main character is frustrating then the drama is not a likable drama , the reason I'm watching this drama until now is because of their acting skills the graphics could have been better
