The Story of Hua Zhi Episode 2
The Emperor sees through the deception, having complete faith in Yan Xi. In return, Yan Xi swears true fealty to the Emperor and becomes head of the Security Bureau. His first task to imprison the remaining male Hua family members and to confiscate Hua mansion. The women and children are expelled to live outside of the city in an old decrepit mansion. Shen Qi is disappointed his betrothal to Hua Zhi has been dissolved.
