very different storyline but if you love Wi Ha Joon as a good inspirational guy in Shark: The Beginning you might like him in Midnight where he's the bad guy! Also Jung Won Chang is also here as a police officer

recommending this since Wi Ha Joon is also a support role in 18 again, if you kove him you can give 18 again a try

the bully in SB is also the bad guy in UC - Jung Won Chang
same trope where both the MC is being bullied then suddenly got stronger only difference is Uncanny Counter focuses more on killing the evil spirit and not as being bullied unlike Shark the Beginning both are great tho

Juveniles end up in prison and struggle against corruption and fellow prisoners for survival. Bullying and personal vendettas.

- They both form a friendship that helps them to become stronger and with that fight for their revenge
- Also they both use a pen ?

Both of he main characters goes to prison. After being released they both have a dark side they got while being in prison . The genre of the movies is similar. The plot is similar ( kind of ). If you liked shark : the beginning you might like the Merciless

An unexpected friendship and strong bond between 2 leads. Also the main plot of the films happened inside the prison and things gets interesting as the 2 leads meet. Explosion of emotions and climax of both movies also happened when one of the leads was out of the prison.
