Beautiful!
Left me Heart broken but full of hope and happiness at the same time! I need more vampire BL stories, especially not cliche ones! Those eight episodes within eleven minutes are pure gold where my mind isn't bored or goes wandering around. Perfect for optimal binge watching. I cried my egyes out but must say this story has (almost) perfect end (ofcourse I wish they grew old together)! But I am not sure if I will re-watch It in near future - too many feeling. Definitelly will recommend It (to my daughter, to ne honest).Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

At a loss for words.
This BL drama has so much potential. I’m always a sucker for vampire dramas, so I was excited to stumble across this one. I cannot say that I’m fully mad at it, BUT the ending was a disgrace. It’s was like “poof” the end. Excuse me?! I know it was a short BL, but they could have given us a little more. It felt incomplete.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

A VAMPIRE CAN'T FIX LACKING PLOT
The highlight of this BL as a whole has to be Jiwoong, and while that may be biased, this is my review so I am going to be biased. He ate that vampire role up, given what he was which brings me in my 2nd point...The story was...Below avarage, especially given the vampire idea, it could have definitely be written better, but also several plotholes and questions left unaswered, with a season 2 rumored this could change but I doubt it will so I stand my ground on this.
The music was good, but did not impress me alot.
Would still rewatch if I was bored one day and had nothing else to do.

A VERY BEAUTIFUL STORY OF LOVE!
I love this so much! The storyline is amazing. I've seen and felt different kinds of love in this BL, romantic, family, friendship, unrequited love and others, and it was showed amazingly. I deeply felt the feelings the two male leads had for each other and... aahh, I really want to say more but I don't want to mention spoilers. I actually watched both the movie and series version because I don't want to miss anything and I plan to rewatch them again. Oh, and by the way, the two male leads are very good-looking, just perfect for each other. I love the effects, the music... everything! I already added this to my favorite list. Love this so much!Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

fantastic acting. Just one plot gaaaaap. and that god damn ring. Homophobia? You tell me.
incredible acting. 20 out of ten. makes up for everything else. Mostly. two things significantly bring this down. First, the story progression... Like, they saw each other then poof they're in love. Like other than them saying they were in love, there's nothing that lead to that. Especially for vampire what's his name. I would have liked for there to be any indication of something that might have attracted him to farm boy. but nope, all of a sudden, I can suck his blood and oh surprise, I'm in love with him. Grrr. The second? THAT RING! He even kicked it! They had two opportunities to get it on his finger! Really, is Korea that homophobic? I mean they just made a BL! They could at least not drop that ring. In more ways than one. Like they didn't even need to have it because it's worse this way. It feels like a concerted slap at gay marriage. Anyway. good job actors. Fighting at boys planet. May being in BLs only propel you forward as well as propel acceptance of queerness in Korean and international society.

It could’ve been better
I watched this and felt it was a really shallow drama. Such as K-bls it was incredibly short. I would describe it as a summary of a drama. It left me with more questions at the end. Like what is the story of the vampire and his deceased lover? How did the vampire meet his vampire friend? How does the humans brother know about vampires and the fact the main lead is a pure blood human? It was just confusing. This drama moves at light speed. One second the vampire is trying to drink the humans blood the next him and the human are in love and finally the vampire dies. The end. However I did read it will get a second season so I hope I can understand better wtf happened.I did really love though how the drama was about a selfless love. The vampire chose not to drink his lover’s blood because it could’ve killed his lover. In doing so the vampire dies. His lover offered his blood freely and the vampire still refused it. I thought that was actually a very beautiful thing. Actually when the vampire dies I teared up a bit because it was actually a heart breaking scene.
The acting is actually very good and very believable. The chemistry is on point and perfect. The actors are very handsome and there love scenes felt very natural. Actually one thing I notice is that with KBl the kiss scene is actually not something that just happens. It’s worked up to and when it happens it’s actually a very beautiful scene. That’s why the kiss scene is actually a very celebrated moment in KBl because it’s actually quite a beautiful scene.

Story of Johun+Minhyun
The story was good, I liked of how shy Min-Hyuns character was, but it felt a bit rushed. I get that it's a short BL, but it seemed to move quickly. The plot was confusing at time, and the ending wasn't the best.SPOILERS FOR ENDING
The fact that they killed off Johun when he could've lived madr me upset. I understand that the character felt guilty for the death of his ex, and he didn't want to hurt Min-Hyuns, but he offered for him to take his blood. The ending could of had a better way to end it off instead of killing him. Overall, it was a decent show, and if I had to grade it, it would probably be a C+.

Sympa

Could have been much better
This made so little sense, lol. It's a show about a vampire, but besides drinking blood and being immortal, he has no other vampire characterictics. He can be out in the sun just fine and I don't even think I saw a fang. The plot was a mess, especially in the last episode. What was the ring about? What was the random scene on the basketball field after the lady asks Jun Ho if his heart is at ease? After going back to check, I realise it's probably Min Hyun dreaming, but it was very confusing. Why was Min Hyun even asleep in the classroom? Why does he hug Jun Ho when he wakes up as if he thought he'd lost him? Didn't they just sleep together then went to class?
Why didn't he drink his blood when we already know from the first episode that he can drink some without killing people? Why did the other vampire have red eyes? How did Min Hyun's brother find the hideout when no one else in school seems to know about it? Who even was the older lady? She seems to work at the school? They tried way too hard to fit a convoluted plot into eight 10-minute episodes.
This also had the low-budget feel that most KBLs have. The only reasons I'm not rating this lower than 6.5 stars are because the two leads are great, and some scenes fall into the "so bad it's good" category. I see there's possibly a second season in the works - hopefully it answers some of the questions and gives this mess a proper ending?

I Don't Even Know What to Title This As.
I really have to revamp my whole rating list when it comes to shorter dramas, because this one was good and bad at the same time. Good? The premise was good. The cast was good. All the emotions were conveyed well. The story? Oh dear, the story. It seems that the writers even directed this one specifically for that *horns and balloons* ending.
For a story to have emotional depth, the run time matters. Here, we dive head first into something, watch the leads' relationship grow, then get thrown into something else. And I still have no idea what the significance of that character was. He existed for the angst. Minus him from the story and there is still no change to the overall plot.
I would recommend this to anyone who is trying to finish their 52 Week Watch Challenge, but are short on free time. As for others... if you are expecting some mind blowing storytelling, this ain't it. But, it does have good emotional performances by the cast that is unfortunately stunted by the limited runtime.
