MONSAM are everything

I love the chemistry between the leads. The story might be the best with too many plot holes but I watched it for the romance. They were cute and it's a good start for gl. Sam the boss lady was so hot pursuing Mon. We get to know she wasn't always this emotionles. Hate her grandmother. That bitch. Also don't like how that cheating couple got a happy ending. Mon and Sam's friends were one the best things about this series, the way they supported them throughout


We see an overwhelming majority of bls but way less gls. Hope to see more gls from Asian countries r

I LOVED THIS SERIES

This is my favourite romance of any series, I think. It's insane to say, and I don't even like Thai dramas usually? I cried so much and it got the fangirl squeal out of me. SO MUCH. I'm a gay man and two women got me to fangirl squeal...

I didn't like the music too much overall, but it's not super important to me. HOWEVER I will give it an 8 because Becky sings throughout and I absolutely love her voice.

Phreen has perhaps become one of my favourite actresses, just out of this and nothing else I've seen from her. Yes, this drama is momentous and historic, but even as a straight romance I would find this wonderful masterpiece of cinema exceptional.

My only real gripe is the fact that we didn't get to learn much about the co-workers, and that the grandmother was not more present throughout the plot, but honestly I think the way everything was done was absolutely exceptional.

Pioneiras pq sim!!!!!

Mais uma série que grava seu nome na história, pois apesar de já termos vistos alguns casais GL secundários, é perceptível que a ênfase neles geralmente é muito pouca, principalmente em questões de intimidade. GAP começa como um conto de fadas clichê, que tinha tudo pra ser a história surreal e boba de uma menina pobre que se apaixonou (mesmo que não se desse conta disso) na infância, por alguém praticamente inatingível e conseguiu, como nos contos, conquistar seu amor. Mas ela nos entrega a primeira série com protagonismo GL da história da Tailândia, causando um alvoroço, e passando suas 12 semanas de exibição com seus eps nos trending topics do TT tailandês e de diversos países. Entregaram tudo, coesão e aclamação, boa atuação, uma bela história com muitas situações relevantes sendo discutidas, e claro, um belíssimo final feliz. O bônus pra mim, é saber que ela é fruto da empresa e direção do Saint, que enquanto ator sofreu tanta retaliação da indústria, parece que o universo o redimiu.
Uma boa jogada, na minha opinião, foi não ter nenhum casal BL na série pra dividir o protagonismo, pois mesmo um casal secundário, num país onde o BL domina esse segmento de séries, poderia roubar os holofotes.
Apesar do início meio bobo, a história aborda com muita ênfase a questão do preconceito e da discriminação, as histórias que são contadas tem uma carga dramática forte, que foi amenizada de forma inteligente pelo humor da série, recurso usado com maestria. As amigas de Sam são responsáveis por parte desse alívio cômico, e como é linda a amizade entre elas, dentro de suas diferenças elas se completam. os funcionários da empresa também são uma comédia à parte, de pequenos assustados à grande apoiadores do romance entre sua chefe e a garota que amoleceu o coração dela. Confesso que tive muito medo de um final ruim, tive medo do noivo de Sam ser um grande vilão, mas tudo se resolveu no final! Amo essa série de coração, indico por onde eu for.
Os aspectos técnicos são bem interessantes, a ost é linda, e a cenas de amor, além de muito bem produzidas foram responsáveis por quebrar o tabu do sexo entre mulheres. Não foi vulgar, foi sensual, e a entrega das atrizes foi linda!

Different From Others GL

It's a refreshing storyline compared to other GL.
GL story lovers should watch this story because it is life-changing! Seriously!

From the smallest character to the main character, each character plays a very good role. This series is alive because every cast understands each other's characters. Their acting looks alive and real!

Each plot is not boring and not too difficult to understand but contains mixed emotions. Instead, it makes you wonder what will happen with the romance that is prevented by the family. But the combination of comedy elements brightens up this story.

Even the OST keeps stuck in my head! MUST WATCH!!!

Loved it

I loved this girl's love series. Yes, there may be ups and downs in their relationship but still, it was a good combination of the troupe and the way there was so much emotion just using their eyes and it was such a good show that I finished watching it in two days. I would recommend this show for those who want to kill time and there is no need to expect so much but just enjoy the show. The acting was so on point that the casting was so perfect for it. Freen was the best character for playing sam because she was so into the character that she literally bought it to life. This just made the show even more worth watching as I don't usually watch thai drama but this is definitely worth a try to watch. Hope that the two leads can have another more extended series like this again.

There are not than many GL series out there that give us these full fleshed out characters so that already adds the Gap high up in the GL category. However, that doesn’t meant that is why you should watch this series. You should watch this series because Freen and Becky have such good chemistry. The friends are hilarious and love the coworkers! Hopefully we get more projects with freen and Becky because they’re so amazing! I’m glad I didn’t watch this until it all came out bc I would’ve left feeling sad after like every episode then would’ve had to wait for the next one.

Must Watch

It is a good Show also the OST Whisper By Freen Sarocha is epic; Many series have a lot of BS about GL/Yuri this is so straightforward and fully shows what it is about, a full and complete romance and comedy Yuri drama; two of the best I watched including yuri or another which is so good in terms of excitement and story only bad ending; but this one really good with a complete and good finish. m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m mm m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m

personal opinion on gap (no personal hate on whichever party)

as gap being the very first gl series i’ve ever watched, i didn’t have any expectations apart from the shots and snippets that i watched from social media that led me to this series. on thing that made me quite upset was the about the characters’ personality. like for sam, i didn’t like how she lied to mon that kissing her and doing ‘all that’ before they became girlfriends was something that friends would normally do, like have u ever seen normal friends kissing and biting each other? plus, the scene where mon called sam and asked her about what their relationship status was, the fact that sam even brought up that she was quite a few years older than mon which meant that they can’t be in a romantic relationship, AND still kissed her as if they were a couple. but other than that, the acting and story is still good, it is not rushed and it flows smoothly. the actresses’ acting are good which made the series good in general. i’m surprised that this series is rated 13+ cuz from the looks of ‘certain’ scenes (iykyk), it looks more like 18-21+ to me [fun fact: i only knew about gl shows like this year(2024) so i’m still quite new to this industry:)]

not my favorite

my first review.
because i’m frustrated!
i almost dropped this show after episode 9 but a friend convinced me to pick it back up.

i loved this show at first. i loved the work dynamic, i was so excited to see what would eventually happen with Sam’s “no dating rule” while she was dating Mon. i was invested in the cute side characters at the workplace. then at some point in the series… the entire workplace just.. vanishes. what happened with the coworkers? the series just completely takes a turn and the entire thing is suddenly about sam’s grandmother (who made me want to punch my screen every time her face was on it) we kinda just never go back to the workplace setting and see everyone finding out about Sam and Mon’s relationship.

with that being said, after the workplace vanishes, i had to force myself to keep watching the show.. i kept thinking “why are they even together, they do nothing but argue and bicker…” there was a time near the end where i almost hoped that Mon would have just went to England. it would have been a healthy new start for her. not saying she’s innocent, considering how she dated Sam the entire series while Sam technically had a fiancée.

the grandmother’s “change of heart” at the end of the series was just too much. i just couldn’t believe it. there’s no way. i knew it was coming, i saw it coming, i kept thinking to myself; no way is she suddenly going to change her mind. after driving away the first granddaughter for who knows how long, and driving away the second granddaughter LITERALLY TO HER DEATH. and now because Sam is “sad” in the past couple months, she’s going to completely change her horrible demon-like personality? there’s just no way.. and she did. they did it. the show tried to give her a redemption arc. i couldn’t buy it by the end.

Sam was so indecisive i just couldn’t with her anymore.
Mon started acting like a damn pushover at every chance.

..and what happened to the work place setting?!?

i’m hoping the Loyal Pin does justice to these two because i did enjoy their acting despite them not having much of a good story to work with!!!!!!

GL Representation

This series is a great starting series for anyone interested in GL. I'm glad we're finally getting more wlw relationships on screen. This story is quite a cliché but does it in a gay way ( which I love). There are several cute scenes within the show and the show can get very serious at certain times ( especially near the end of the series). This show definitely has a realistic undertone to it regarding things like how other people view wlw relationships and how older and more traditional people view LGBTQ+. I was satisfied with how it ended and how the whole show went. It may be cheesy and a bit predictable but representation is representation. We can only go up from here!

a good start for wlw series

although the couple's chemistry was nice, there was nothing really captivating or groundbreaking about the scenario. on the contrary, it was very cliche with the arrogant boss and hardworking employee plot. as episodes passed, I felt like it got more and more boring. the episodes with CherRisa were nice. i was also looking forward to seeing some TeeYuki scenes, but whatever we got is fine too lol. overall, the series was nothing special; however, i don't want to be too harsh on this series as it is the first Thai gl. I hope this series will pave the way for better and more gl series in the upcoming years!
