An underrated gem!! Loved it and Enjoyed too much than I expected
This is the first time and drama that I am commenting on, I am feeling so sentimental now. I JUST CRIED DURING THE ENDING!! (FYi, out of happiness) ITS THE FIRST TIME I CRIED OVER A DRAMA LMAOO. So overwhelmed that it has ended. When I first found out about this drama, it was on the casting news of Kim Jaeuck, as he's like my favourite korean actor. I am glad that I watched while it was airing. I remember the earnest waiting of pain every week, FOR new episodes, But It was the one thing to keep me going in life. Because of this drama, I became a fan of Krystal. The chemistry between the two leads, IS INSANE I AM TELLING YOU.To me, this is the most powerful chemistry that I have seen. I don't think anyone or pairing can top this perfectly fated to be a couple duo LOL. I EVEN SHIP THEM IRL
The beginning of the drama may be slow, but it's worth it!! THE slow-burn romance is just PEAK like WOW. At times, I would be laughing my head off lol. The screenwriter did a great job on the drama. It made uses of many cliches, but in such an ingenious way? Idk if anyone notice, but some characters tend to do actions that mirrors one another. (Either from a previous ep or scene. I found it fun like an easter egg HAAAHA)
The enemies to lovers troupe is done so RIGHT here. With their relationship progression, it was actually believable. Usually when the couple gets together, I start to lost interest in the drama. BUT NOT THIS DRAMA. As a viewer, it did its job in keeping me engaged.
Other than the romance, there are other sub-plots going on (mysterious, thriller)
Although tbh, I was not really interested in those lol. Its quite weak. Again the side characters, I find myself skipping through them. JUST SWITCH OFF YOUR BRAIN CELLS, its a romcom drama afterall. The ONLY thing that carried this drama was the lead couple.
THE drama indeed deserves its title "CRAZY LOVE", the CRAZY is there. With the way those
things go, is insane hAHAHA.
It’s unfortunate that it did not do well in ratings on KBS, but at least is doing quite well on Disney+? I watched it on there HAHAA. I will continue rewatching the drama, as I did while it was airing. The rewatchability of this drama is 100.
Goodbye, Mimi couple of “Crazy Love”. You will be missed.
Thanks for making my 2022 better!!

An edgy black comedy that ended up with pink frills
The initial setup of this show is hardly original. Nasty, cold hearted boss making all his employees’ life miserable. His worst victim is his parade of secretaries whom never lasted more than 3 months before they are driven to despair. That is until the FL arrived at the scene and managed to stick it out for 1 whole year. In that sense, it was almost like a Shakespearean play of revenge where a conga line of people all wanted to harm the ML either for real or at least play out some fantasy to get redress for past wrongs. What happened next is dark, zany and over the top, but it worked because it was done with a lot of manic energy and running at break-neck speed. You just don’t have time to ask questions. It was a wild ride to say the least. However, that ride did not last. Around the halfway mark, the pacing and tone of the show began to shift. It coasted for a bit as it shifts gear and recalibrates. By the end of the show, it is a completely different beast. This may be a good thing for some viewers, but it can be problematic as well. If you start watching this show because of the leads, then there is no issue at all. They have great chemistry plus a nice amount of passionate skinship. However, if you stumbled onto this show and was hooked by the crazy, fast paced story then how it morphed into a fluffy romance might leave you scratching your head. On the other hand, if you were put off by the dark whimsical plot and dropped the show then you would have missed the swoon worthy love line that blossomed later on. It is a weird juxtaposition of genres but you have to give the writer-nim credit for trying something different.
Now, back to the main revenge theme that is the backbone of this show. It is ever present and drove a lot of the plots forward. However, it is a double-edged sword. It worked in the subplots and there were many of them. From silly voodoo doll action to inflicting serious bodily harm, just about anything goes. Nevertheless, I thought the overarching central plot is weak and out of proportion when the full reveal happened towards the end of the show. The Show would have us believe that the main antagonist was a mastermind that plotted his revenge for years and has many resources at his disposal that he can manipulate public opinion and pay for others to do his dirty deeds. Yet he blames the ML for ruining his life?! In all honesty, I don’t buy that. The antagonist is living well, and he certainly doesn't seemed to be hung up about his reputation so why play such a long game and devote so much energy to it. It is not as if it is a family feud or the cliche “you killed my father!” storyline. It did make the grand reveal somewhat lame. The ML certainly didn't understand the motivation and neither did I.
Acting is great from the leads. They demonstrated a wide range of skills especially the ML, he raced through several different personalities during the show so kudos to him. The FL was also very good and she is tough but deep down is a sweet and caring soul. The support casts were solid but the writer-nim gave them exaggerated roles so overacting is the norm. They all earned their keeps. SFL was no wall flower even though she is beautiful and I confess to having a bit of second lead syndrome.
To complete the transformation of the show, the final episode is total fan service. It was the most leisurely strode down Closure Lane I have seen for a long time. The writer-nim lovingly closed all the threads and ticked them off her list. Not that I'm complaining because it was so nice and sweet. She paid attention to minor subplots that would have been forgotten by most shows. It was sugar overload but if you ship the OTP then it would just be the icing on the cake. Speaking of OTP, the 2OTP is cute and sweet too and provided some early distraction from the endless revenge action.
To be honest, if it started as a rom-com with just the boss/secretary plot, it probably would have faded badly because the love line is fairly standard. It is the crazy momentum of the first half that carried it over the line.
OST is nice and easy on the ears. Rewatch is there depending on whether you like sugar or spice. ;)

Dark, fluffy, funny...
This is the story of what happens when a lot of broken people come together and the craziness that heals them... As this story is packed with dark and mean humour, some intrigues and about 99 levels of revenge... Teaching us that we are basically all broken people trying to find someone to direct our anger att... And h*** sometimes that anger just might lead to love... Crazy, fun, painful, love...While the female lead does give Stockholm syndrome a face, she is also fun, cool, crawl, independent and not as pathetic as one may think even at her lowest. She is true to herself throat the story making her lovable at alll times.
The male lead is everything from cool, cold, crewl,,, to a soft teddy bear in need of some love...
Combining the two may bring about 989899 cliches but they are highly entertaining,
The side characters do their jobs well, some are fun and lovable, others slightly annoying but not over the top annoying.
there are some side plots that feel unnecessary and are there to try to divert our attention in the mystery plot but they ar kind of meeh... so is the main mystery in this... very meeh and only there probably to show the why the male lead is the way he is and make us forgive all his wrongdoings, but chances are it will not keep you on your toes,
The dad in this drama is such a sweetheart, one of the sweetest dads in all of dramaland....
The acting is good, bingabilaty high, the visuals are lovely... so overall a pretty decent rom com that had me laughing a lot (the first 5 episodes). It also catered to my fluff needs and did not aggravate me too much. this drama may not be a masterpiece and does not bring much new but it is definitely my type of rom-com.
Oh and the amount of screenshot and gif opportunities in this are endless...

Twists and turns
The trailer and cover photo make you think one way the story will go but it’s so so different. Rather enjoyed this! Would love to see an American version of this ! I loved the two main Leads . Did you notice that their appearance seem to change as they fell in love? Both got more attractive . Forgiveness, second chances, coping with loss all were themes but lots of humorous moments too. Really enjoyed this. Fell in love with the lead actor he is adorable and kinda sexy and kinda scary all rolled up into one .Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
I Loved It
I really liked this one. The storyline was really interesting, and the main couple had really good chemistry. What really sold me on this one though, was the lack of unnecessary drama. I really hate love triangles, and they're everywhere in dramas. In this one though, that's not really the case (there is one, kinda, but it's one-sided). This made me really happy because that meant that there weren't really any stupid relationship issues and the main couple could just focus on each other. This all allowed you to really focus on the mystery and get into the story. It had me on the edge of my seat, and I was really excited to see if my predictions were true. All in all, it's a classic story of a male lead with a crappy personality, and a female lead who has to put up with his bullshit. The character development in this was really good, and the male lead actually becomes a good person in the end. Also, it features a female lead with a backbone.
Honestly, I'm literally just waiting for my brain to forget some details so I can watch it again.

Warm to mind, Heal to heart.
This amazing series is a wonderful one, it has comedy, lovely moment, thriller scene, action scene and beautiful storyline as well. Both ML/FL has act their characters really well. The buildup was great and give us viewers a reason to stay. I love how the camera angle works in this drama. There's scene that i felt like i am communicating with the characters. This drama has address one of mental health issue, abandonment. It is easy to watch, and easy to relate as well. The most i remembered from this kdrama, is the scene in the first ep (i called it the 'The hammer' scene, which is the key to this kdrama.

Love makes us do crazy things but without it we are nothing
In the beginning we are introduced to a male lead that isn’t very likable. He harshly criticizes every mistake the people around him makes. He’s always pushing his employees really hard then yelling and losing his temper when they don’t live up to his expectations. But upon finding out about his upbringing and what transpired later when he was an adult we begin to understand him a little better. When he was a toddler his parents died in a tragic accident and his grandmother raised him by herself. Then she died when he was in grade school making him an orphan. Since he was orphaned at a young age, he lived in poverty and had to make his own way by himself living a very harsh life. But he’s a mathematical genius and his talents take him from being a janitor to being the CEO of his own huge company. But along the way he’s badly hurt again when his girlfriend abandons him and marries another man. Having been abandoned by every person he’s ever loved, he shuts down all emotions and becomes very cold and unfeeling. When the people around him fail to meet his expectations he immediately cuts them from his life. There is never any kindness or forgiveness , just harsh consequences.Fortunately, when circumstances force him and the female lead to be together all the time, he slowly begins to be touched by her kindness. Going to her hometown reminds him of his home growing up. Simple things like being offered a freshly peeled apple or potato straight from the garden brought back warm childhood memories of his beloved grandmother. The female leads family are very warm and loving people that genuinely like him and welcome him. He slowly starts to regain his humanity and genuinely care about people and show kindness.
The character growth of the male lead was done wonderfully and is some of the best I’ve seen. There’s lots of character growth all around for the entire cast which makes it a really enjoyable drama. And the acting is way above average too. I’m not one to notice music in a drama and rarely address it. But the music in this drama was very good and fit every mood perfectly.
The female lead is a very likable character. She’s kind, forgiving, and an overall very sweet person. She’s strong minded, confident, and hardworking too. Her biggest flaw though, is her mindset regarding work. She puts up with a lot of harassment and mistreatment at work believing that if she just perseveres things will get better. Her father raised her to believe that you have to endure a lot of hardship in order to further your career. But what she goes through at work is awful and hard to watch. She’s mistreated badly. Fortunately it doesn’t last long and she finally stands up for herself and gets some backbone. Seeing her learn to navigate the workplace and excel in her career was fun to watch. She had great character growth too.
The storyline was a bit cliché but the acting was flawless. This drama balanced the mystery, romance, and melodrama quite well. Usually a drama will fixate on the romance so much that the mystery and workplace drama suffers. Or it will focus so much on the mystery and workplace stuff that the romance is lacking. This drama balanced it all very well. I liked that all of the characters were well developed and the storyline had a lot of depth and was very interesting. But the romance was really sweet too.
So why didn’t I give it a perfect 10? This is billed as a romcom but I was a bit disappointed with the romance aspect of it. Its not that it didn’t have romance in it, it had a sweet romance along with some great comedy. There were several nice kisses, lots of back hugs, and cuddles too. But the romance gave off the sweet cute vibes of a youthful couple rather than the more passionate vibes of a mature couple. For a number of years now asian dramas with mature couples have been showing a lot more passion, skinship and steamy kisses. So I felt letdown. I’m not against sweet cute fluffy romcoms by any means. I’ve watched lots of them and I really enjoyed them too. But in the past few years we’ve been seeing that the sweet cute romances are usually in college or school dramas with young actors. But in the mature dramas with older actors (that are experienced in dating) the trend has been to show a more realistic relationship that is more passionate and intimate. And I’ve really embraced this trend because it’s much more true to life and realistic. So there’s sort of an expectation nowadays in regards to the more mature dramas that the romance will be more appropriate to their age. So when this drama had the fluffy sweet youthful romance I couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed. Seeing mature actors acting all sweet, innocent and shy around one another felt very unrealistic, (especially since they had previously dated other people and weren’t innocent in the dating arena). It just didn’t reflect the progress asian dramas have made in the last few years in terms of physical affection.
Overall I’d say this is a really good drama that I’ll probably rewatch at some point. The comedy is very good, the acting is superb, the mystery is fun to figure out, and the actors have a sweet romance. If you go into it not minding that some of the storyline is cliche and that even though the actors are mature the romance is a bit young sweet and fluffy, you’ll love it. It wasn’t perfect but it was one of those rare dramas I didn’t fast forward through and instead binge watched. I liked the message it’s trying to get across and how it makes us analyze love. Every person in the drama did crazy things for love. Some did it for romantic love, some did it for sibling love, some did it for parental love but they all did crazy things for love. Love makes us so crazy we might want to give up on it and all other emotions like the male lead did. But without love are we really even human? Is there even any quality to life without it? I love the wonderful journey this drama takes us on to answer these questions.
For Clarification:
I am aware that Asian dramas are known for being chaste and pure and I personally love that about them. When I watched my first drama, Boys Over Flowers 13 years ago, there was zero physical affection and the kisses were mere pecks and I absolutely adored the drama. But the industry has had tremendous growth since then and I’m loving it. Yes the youth dramas are still innocent and sweet. But the mature dramas are having a lot more physical affection, skinship, and steamy kisses. In my opinion this makes the drama much more realistic and easier to relate to. With dramas like Oh My Venus (2015), Another Miss Oh (2017), and What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim (2019), we’ve seen a a lot of progress in this area. Kisses aren’t little pecks or fish lips anymore and there’s lots more bedroom scenes. And I like that it’s not vulgar sexually like western dramas and is done very tastefully. So when I say I was disappointed in the innocent youthful type of romance this drama had, I’m not saying I don’t like the sweet pure romances Asian dramas depict or that I’m unaware of how these dramas are romance wise. I’m just saying that in this particular drama with mature leads in their 30’s that have admitted to having dated and been in previous relationships, their romance seemed a bit too innocent, shy and pure. Now if they had no dating or relationship experience despite their age I would have been okay with the shy sweet innocent romance because it would have been realistic. But considering their dating past their relationship just wasn’t realistic to me. Don’t get me wrong, I loved their romance, it was super sweet. But any drama that doesn’t keep up with the progress the industry has made and in doing so portrays things in an unrealistic manner, that effects how I feel about the drama and I’m going to say something. Hopefully you will understand where I’m coming from in my critique of this dramas romance.

I knew that this would be a good one, but I didn't know I'd like it this much
First ImpressionI found this drama from the trailer on a Youtube ad, and immediately mark my calendar for the release date. The trailer shows how weirdly fun the character would be, and loving Kim Jae Wook in Her Private Life, make this on my top Plan to Watch list.
The Characters
Noh Go Jin: From the start, despite how annoying the ML was, I root for him because he was just strangely funny. His cold exterior, rudeness, and strictness kind of represent most bosses IRL, but worse. His perfectionist traits also make it intolerable, but honestly what makes people hate him even more, was the fact that he's successful AKA people are just being jealous. His character wasn't a red flag to me cause who wouldn't guess that by the end of this drama, he would eventually be a better version of himself. The biggest challenge for the writer was how can they "make the change" possible, realistic, and acceptable. And if you have read other reviews or the comment section, you know that the writer succeed in making the best scenario for this.
Lee Shin A: Tbh I was kind of skeptical that I wouldn't like the FL. Don't get me wrong, I like Krystal and her acting was good in her previous projects, but I never really like the characters that she played. So, when I watched this, I didn't expect that I would love her this much. In the beginning, she portrays office workers in what would be a "quarter-life crisis", how her career didn't show progress and stuck with a boss/environment that she hated. She wanted a change, but she was only getting hardships in her life. Most people can relate to this character, the world was not fair. And as unrealistic as it could be, who wouldn't want to do a crazy frantic at least once in their life to fight against this unfairness. But once again, the writer did a great job with this character. Despite all the things that she faced, she was the most realistic mature fictional character that I have ever seen.
I could also write about Oh Se Gi, Baek Soo Young, the Instructors, the Ex-Secretary, and other characters but that would be spoiling too much. Just to be clear, every character has their own failures, flaws, and beliefs, but to keep in mind, they portray people almost realistically, and no matter what their existence holds an irreplaceable value.
The Plot
The beginning was a "shock" to some viewers, because how the scenes were giving mixed feelings. And as most viewers experienced, after 4-6 episodes, you're hooked. It gives out a unique vibe that I never really feel in other dramas. However, after being in this drama world for a long time, we know that most plots flopped in their second half, and that's why I was always anxious watching episodes 10-12 of every drama. Once again, the writer was able to tackle this common failure, and I was just so excited to tell everyone that this plot is the best so far! Even the ending was super good, it was bittersweet knowing we have to bid farewell to this drama, but the only thing that the writer fail to do is to disappoint us HAHAHA
The Life Lesson
1. There are a lot of things that I learned from watching Crazy Love, but what would be the most important lesson is how people would go and hurt others to not get hurt instead. Accepting mishappenings or flaws would hurt us in some way that instead of doing it, we try to blame or hurt others to please our ego. It also happens in real life, that people with trauma tend to hurt others, sometimes unintentionally. This is normal and considered acceptable to a certain limit, as it can be the alternative attempt at self-acceptance and self-love. But when it goes beyond the limit, it might lead to a crime, just like our main villain here. So, it's actually our choice, to keep doing the alternative and not fixing the main issues or be the mature one to accept what we truly are and start developing ourselves.
2. The second one would be how misinterpretation and miscommunication would lead to the biggest conflict in our life. Thankfully, this wasn't a big problem in our ML-FL romance, but it was a big issue for ML and most characters. Of course, it was inevitable for such things to happen in our minds, but instead of jumping to conclusions (just like people who judge this drama based on the first few episodes), it would be best for anyone to try to understand the situations and see the full picture of something from different perspectives before deciding anything (giving a chance or not).
3. Last but not least, it was never a one-person fault but all your actions have consequences. So, before doing or saying or even planning anything, please consider how it will benefit or harm you or the people around you.
There are other things that I would like to point out which are the cast's acting and chemistry, the dark humor, and the OSTs are complementing the plot in such a good way. I've never rated a drama a 10 but this deserves it. Please watch this if you're interested!!!

This a complete pack of comedy with boss and secretary typical romance
First of all, this drama brings an uptight mathematics genius with narcissist personality and a his secretary which is serving him more than a year. The story picks up on very good note. The plot majorly focuses on the Lee Shin A (Krystal Jung) who somehow concludes that her boss is the sole culprit of her mental state. And after that, her revenge plot begins (which is itself a pack of comedy). What I like the most is that whatever she tries to do to her boss she somehow fails to make him remember his old personality. With amnesia twist, Noh Go Jin (Kim Jae Wook) plans to find the real culprit who is threatening him while Lee Shin A acts as her fake fiancee.
As a typical romance Kdrama, Noh Go Jin suffers from a heartbroken past which will be revealed later. And both of them fell in love with each other in the end on a happy note.
What new does the drama brings to the viewers:-
- A complete new type of boss but with same rude and arrogant personality
- A secretary with high motivation to achieve something and kind of hate her boss
- A new set of comedy
- And a romance which is build up to hide an accident.
- Some good OSTs
What I personally like about this drama is Krystal Jung's acting. A psycho type girl who is doing everything to satisfy her hatred towards his boss and in her heart gaining sympathy towards him. As always Noh Go Jin doesn't disappoint with office romances, as he worked on Her Private Life (worth checking out).
My suggestion for romcom viewers just hop on to this drama and you will not be disappointed. Till now, episode 12 this drama is holding its high standards.
With a good character development and with nice flow the story continues. Hope it deserves a good response from the viewers worldwide.

It's a clean and a crazy drama, with a satisfying ending.
Clean is weird to use in the title but, if you read the review you will understand.Crazy love is so underrated. I just finished it. It's a drama which deserves more attention. It would've been fun if more people watched the show. I went in because of krystal. I had no expectations, didn't even bothered reading the synopsis. I just believed it would be good, and it was!
Story wise, people were complaining it had clichés but, it has a good plot with few clichés here and there. It did a fine job in delivering though. It is really hilarious. Not your typical rom-com, it has plot twists which quite predictable. But, it won't ruin it all. It does has so many unexpected things. The characters are fun to watch. It's not draggy. It has a good pace. The characters have a great character development. There is no unnecessary riot that happens. It really meets one's expectations. There are often times when you finish a drama, you feel like it did not explained few things and you didn't see a character at the end. That's not the case here, everything is explained, even side characters get their deserved screentime. With everything wrapped. I was pleased by the drama.
Cast was really great, the acting was good, from side characters to main. It was a perfect drama, with a qualified cast. Krystal and Jae-Wook did an amazing job. I cannot imagine someone else, they are so funny and yet so cute and chaotic together. The chemistry ofc, was smooth like butter.
Ost is good. It only makes the drama better, it is fun to listen to it too. I really love love the ost. It's so fresh and lovelyT. Dive into you and I'm crazy are literally sooooo goodd, my fav.
Rewatch value is quite high. I really don't rewatch dramas. But this drama is worth the check like after 2-3 years.

A Masterpiece underated. Don't miss it !! (à consommer sans modération)
This drama came out very discreetly and I discovered it by chance. I watched it for Kim Jae Wook, who is in my eyes one of the most beautiful, talented Korean actors (multi-talented, although in this series, he even agrees to sing badly :) and who knows how to select his roles (which is far from being the case for all Korean stars). How did it to pass under the radar??? It is an almost perfect masterpiece! After a "16 hours drama marathon", it entered directly into my ALL TIMES TOP 10 of KDramas...
ACTING:
One of the best roles of ❤❤❤ ❤❤❤ Kim Jae Wook ❤❤❤ ❤❤❤ (still so beautiful and hot) and a real discovery of Krystall's talent (whom I had seen in other dramas, but who didn't impress me more than that).
The other actors are also excellent and their characters are developed with delicacy and intelligence.
Just a remark on Yoo In Young: why is she always confined to FL2 characters, beautiful, rich, a little neurotic and obsessive?
STORY:
I'm quite a fan of hate-love and Office Romance, so the plot had everything to please me. But this drama has never ceased to bring me happy surprises. The story is remarkably well written, without the usual cliches (except the return of the rich and stubborn ex :).
It's an intelligently dosed mix of romance, suspense, humor, with just enough clues to support the rest of the story. The ships are particularly lovely (great kissing scenes :) and I appreciate the trust and maturity of the relationship within the CL.
What more can I add to make you want to see it?
- The realization is dynamic, neat, clear.
- Even the OSTs are excellent!!
I rarely rewatch the series because there are always so many new dramas coming out, but I will watch this drama (probably several times) again because it is a REAL pleasure to consume without moderation).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
