The general feel of the shows is very similar, firstly. It's centered around a lot of growth, and explores friendships and relationships.
The leads in both the shows have dreams that they are chasing, and they are trying to navigate their relationship along with them.
SPOILER:
The largest similarity, however, is in their endings. They separate because their timings were wrong, and they were at stages in their lives, where it was just not possible to be together, if they also wanted to follow their own paths. And so they separate. But both endings are ambiguous, and give us hope, that one day, when the time is right, they might reunite.
And I truly appreciate these endings. They're very realistic.

Both dramas are about adult life. The male leads in both dramas are calm, hardworking, and only work part-time. That's how both of the female leads meet the male leads. Instead of the male lead's family going bankrupt, in this drama it's the female lead's family. Because of a problem, the female leads in both dramas almost have their dreams taken away. The female leads in both dramas are adorable and hilarious.

Both are sports romantic comedies that involve fencing. Twenty- Five Twenty-One being the better written of the two.

-Been friends for so long.
-They all go through their own changes and developments.
-They all go through their hardships together and keep on supporting eachother.
Another mention in this drama that I liked: small amount of LGBTQ+.

Both of these dramas feature a physically-powerful female protagonist who battles fiercely with a sword, while displaying a jovial and gregarious personality when not actively engaging in a sword-fighting battle.
