Man In Love (2021)

Both male lead are gangster. Rough life. Lots of funny moment. Innocent, hard working female lead. Tough men in love with gentle, kind and soft women

Two different story but so similar, they are magnificent for :

- a beautiful and original love story
- know an uncommun disease
- very moved, prepare tissues !!!!
- (the best according to me) : only one love until the end

Both involve a gangster male lead and hardworking female lead. So similar but so different, but it's the same concept :)

Gatao isn’t specifically a “romance” but the similarities are there

-falls for sweet independent girl
-you follow them through the contrasting lifestyles
-not as much of a tear jerker, but super close. Loved/hated them both for the amount feels that were given.

Rough around the edges MLs with criminal pasts who turn their lives around because of a girl, "Man in love" is more of a romantic kind of relationship while "Lighting up the stars" is more of a father-daughter relationship , both slice of life dramas with a lot of deaths in them, both are tearjerkers...and they also have a similar vibe.

-Creditor and debtor relationship. In Man in Love the social class of both is much more marginalized
-Deals with inter generational debt
-Death of father
-Male lead chases female lead first
-Soft hearted male lead
-Dali and Cocky Prince is much more light and whimsical compared to Man in Love which is more gritty and melodramatic

They are both the same exact story just differenet adaptions. Man In Love (2021) is the Taiwanese remake of the original Korean film Man In Love (2014).

Both male lead are gangster, tough outside, soft inside, fell in love with a nice girl. Faces many challenge, up and down, sweet romance
