I Told Sunset About You Part 2 (2021)

First of all, the stunning cinematography is something both series perfect. The fact that they take place in a university and the characters are film/theatre majors.
They are both bls with a soothing setting

Both dramas deal with the trials and tribulations of young adult couples once they’ve begun their relationship. The dramas are tackle more serious issues and aren’t necessarily fairy tales all the way through.

Both contain infidelity.

"Last Twilight in Phuket" is Teh and Ohaew's story before they leave for Bangkok. "Last Twilight in Phuket" is before "I Promised You the Moon".

"I Promised You the Moon: The Documentary" is a documentary for the "I Promised You the Moon" series. It gives an inside look into the actors, the characters, and the filming process.

This two is too similar i can't explain. Maybe it's the acting storyline and how deep both characters are.

WBL seasons 1 and 2 are probably my favorite BL's of all time... but then I watched ITSAY and IPYTM last night and now I'm a wreck.

Both are amazing, sweet, and heart-wrenching. I think what makes them similar is how real the emotions that the actors convey feels. I'd probably say IPYTM is more realistic, but the feelings in both are raw and heart stopping. The actors in one particular scene of WBL (yall who saw it know exactly what scene I'm referencing) made me feel like I was in the movie with them.

What both dramas do a great job of focusing on is the power of the eyes and how so many words can be said by just looking at someone. It HURTS but it also makes my heart smile. Sorry if none of this made sense. byeeeee :) <3

Pretty similar in the way both depict an established gay relationship which was born during the innocent high-school years, creating a strong bond between the male leaders. However, when they turn young adults and face new life phases, fears and insecurities come up.

I find both have a similar kind of ending and the same message of personal growth and its relation with relationships.

Though the other person is toxic and red flag they fall for them anyways, goes through ups and downs, sweet and heartbreak moments. These two series can bring you butterflies and make you cry at the same time.
