hmmmm let start at the start or the end of…

hmmmm let start at the start or the end of the previous ep - where Ju's crying saying "...why does everyone fight for me when it's too late? Do u need to feel pain first before u feel love?..." the 1st half of the question isn't accurate - no one was fighting for him - or rather i think humans aint perfect and tend to make mistakes whether intentionally or accidental. but in this case everyone has their idea or right n wrong, let alone their own fears and sometimes when ur running scared (like with Rocky) it's easier to lash out and hurt - instead of getting hurt, by facing the situation. ********************************************************that Doesn't mean there was no love involved - its more about knee-jerk reaction and trying to protect urself. as humans only after the fact we realize how wrong we were and/or how important the person we hurt was - let alone we have to ability to feel guilty and reconsider our actions and the true motivation behind them - making us regret and want to apologize and ask for a second chance - that's the human existence in a nut shell - no one perfect. ****************************************************************************************************************************************like u don't have to feel pain to appreciate happiness - but they go hand in hand - everyone wishes their time on this planets was rainbows, sunshine and bunnies... but that isn't reality - reality is getting hurt, suffering and dealing with it. finding reasons to keep going in-spite of all the crap life deals u. ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************but Ju was having a melt down - which was a long time coming, as he couldn't really express his true feelings when Rocky "the morning after" acted like a scared animal, ready to attack at every word and look. so i get what he why he was being a bit over. like i get him more or less forcing Rocky to "come out" and declare to the world, that he not only gay but is in-love with Ju. if he wasn't emotionally involved and had a clearer head, he wouldn't force anyone in Rocky position to out themselves before they were fully ready - he wouldn't try to emotionally manipulate them using their deceased mother and that whole situation to guilty them out. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************but Ju was being selfish, cause of everything that happened before - he still wanted Rocky and was ready to force him, to get him. the sad fact being - again dude was gonna shoot himself in the foot - cause in this situation - them all alone - the pandemic - they were in their own little bubble, where even if Rocky declared his "gayness" and love to the world, it wasn't real life - he could do it and even his coming out to his father - was that really an indicator that he "out a proud"?!? ***************************1. he knows (guesses that his father knows as the mother knew) if he's ok with his daughter's crush, his son coming out wouldn't break him. cause 2. he was they breadwinner - what could the father do 'shoot himself in the foot' and disown the only one helping his family survive? - so yeah telling the father is a step in the right direction. but like the move at the end (going to stay with Ju at his grandma's) is still an escape from reality. cause these places - he knows for sure what reaction he is gonna get - i.e not judgment, just acceptance - but when reality intrudes will he still be in the same place? i doubt it - so that was bitter sweet conclusion to this drama ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************this was special - i think from, all the BL's i've watched this was the most true to life - there wasn't "good or bad" character wise, - it was just people, emotions and sadly their "baggage" and how they dealt with their/the budding relationship. ****************the reason my rating isn't higher, is cause i felt the ending was a bit of a copout, as this is only 8 episode's - i get why it was wrapped up the way, it was. but that felt a bit "fantastical" and not true to reality - while until that episode, everything was real - maybe a bit too real, but it was really good! ****************************************************************************************************************************************great acting by the leads - felt their pain and couldn't help be identify - was beautiful... now that the 2nd season exists another roller coaster ride awaits....

Quaranthings: The Series (2020) Episode 8: Quarantine Pass (Part 2)

Episode 8: Quarantine Pass (Part 2) was a perfect finale for this series. All throughout its run, this series never lost track of what it's all about. It's about two boys from different and often opposing class, economic, and educational backgrounds who developed love for each other while on community quarantine because of the COVID-19 pandemic. After all the emotional rollercoasters on this episode, yes, all the major issues were resolved and we got our happy ending! Screenplay was at its best. Acting was impeccable. Audio wasn't too good (I'm referring to the loud sounds) and there were visuals that remained unexplained (I'm alluding to those phallus-depicting paintings in the living room, lol) but all these were negligible because this finale was really excellent -- a perfect 10/10!
