Everything About My Relationship...the title literally describes the drama ^.^ it's it's pure romance mixed with humor & lots of cuteness...

The acting is more than good with great chemistry from the whole cast...

The music was OK fitting but not much to make me excited...
I'll sure watch this when I need some laughs mixed with lots of cuteness :D

I loved this drama...I know the plot was simple but that gives it more points for me...no stupid drama staffed in the plot & unjustified misunderstandings...
They broke up & get back together in 2 min.s...because they love each other...
This is how characters should be...there wasn't any annoying characters & amazing finale...this how a drama should be...relaxing & yet not boring at all...
I had a good time & I couldn't get mad at my couple because together they were so good.

It feels like nobody is talking about All About My Romance. The consistently low ratings (even on the final) seem to reflect this disinterest, and that's a shame. What viewers have passed over is a satisfying, sweet, and refreshingly mature romantic comedy...with few of the common face-palm plot twists that plague the genre. And it's actually funny.

Perhaps the daunting prospect of wrestling political debate is keeping potential fans away. There's no need to worry on that front. This drama's title can also double as the plot descriptor. Everything is about the lead couple's relationship; the political ideologies were simplified and, like the government positions held by most characters, were largely used to flavor conflicts and create an interesting atmosphere for love to blossom and persevere. Unfortunately this device over-saturated the first four episodes, which served as a foundation for the later events of the story. It's like the necessary bit of salt in your cookie dough recipe accidentally got doubled and overcame the sweetness. By the fifth episode though, a burst of romantic chemistry blows the bitter taste away, leaving the rest of All About My Romance charming and delicious.

The acting was generally good to passable, with Shin Ha Kyun blowing everyone else out of the water only to carry it to the end. Some people have said he's not handsome or young enough to play a romantic lead, but they must not have seen him smile. His whole face lights up and, if you're anything like me, you'll find yourself grinning right along with him. The personality Shin Ha Kyun infuses into his Soo Young will probably win him some attraction anyway, because it fuses the zany and romantic in a completely lovable way. Unfortunately, this great performance also means that he destroyed any possibility for Park Hee Soon (forgettable) to form a compelling second lead and badly overshadowed co-star Lee Min Jung (passable). It's lucky then that Shin and Lee look very well together and have believable chemistry, right?

Musically, the only special mention would be the excellent vocal inserts. Akdong Musician's "I Love You," and Shin Yong Jae's "Simple Love" have found themselves into my iPod. The instrumental tracks were either largely not present or too forgettable. However, watch out for the wacky Benny Hill-esque tracks which play during the fun or comedic scenes. They sound a little silly, but somehow remain completely suitable.

The low level of angst and satisfying wrap to most conflicts in All About My Romance take down its rewatchability, but in a good way. I feel like the sweet and comedic scenes are definitely worth a revisit though, and there are several I'd love to see again.

If you want something light and easy to watch, this drama is for you. Especially if you've just gone through a particularly traumatic melodrama or just want a mood booster.

This drama caught my attention before & during its airing but only now I've time to dedicate my 16 hours of my life for it. The fact that Lee Min Jung & Shin Ha Kyun as it lead actor make me slightly excited.I've watch both of their drama before plus rom-com is kinda my thing :)

This drama has politic as it background. It is a heavy genre and maybe boring but the writer did a very good job by shaping it into a light and interesting drama. Story about representive of two opposing party fall in love with each other and how they deal with their 'wrong' relationship after,it was a fresh idea for me. Has a slight cliche love story that can't be avoid. Also an easy to watch drama without forgetting to show what's truly happen in our world politic. It is the truth anyway. I recommend politician out there to watch & learn from this drama plz plz * If they have time to watch though :P *

Chemistry between the leads was very2 good. Never know that Shin Ha Kyun can pull off such character, the one who frequently smile & immature. At first it feel wierd for me to watch his smile with his teeth showing since I can't see those in Brain.Plus his hairstyle at the beginning is very hard to stand lol. Min Jung is very pretty here and she did her job well. The only character that I dislike is Ahn Hee Sun. Her clingy whiny nature and her mistaken obsession with love. A must-have typical character in most of drama. Hoho

For the music, it was very pleasant to hear and I like I Love You song by Akdong Musician the most. It was very good and has a sweet melody.

Overally it was very good.I really have a wonderful voyage with this drama. Many funny & sweet moments. It will give you a good laugh.Trust me :)

Definitely one of 2013's most underrated dramas. "All About My Romance" was actually quite refreshing to watch, since a lot of the dramas I've been watching have had melodrama tenancies in them, this one was definitely a good break from all the heartache and stress. It had the perfect balance of comedy and romance, while incorporating some political matters into the drama.. Speaking of the whole "politics" theme, I was a bit skeptical on how I would react to the cute and light romance colliding with the more serious debates of politics. However, while watching this drama there were never any parts I felt like skipping over. The writers did a pretty good job in making sure that the 1st episode really pulled you into the entire show, and while I will admit I found the politics scenes a bit uninteresting, I continued watching this because of the incredible "laugh-out-loud" moments and (I have to say it) the romance scenes that at some points left me giddy.

I loved the casting for this drama. I've seen quite a few of Lee Min Jung's dramas/films and I've previously watched Han Chae Ah, Gong Hyung Jin and Kim Jung Nan's dramas, so I was excited to see a cast I was well familiar with. And I absolutely loved Shin Ha Kyun's acting.. He may not have been your basic eye-candy, but with skills like that you can't complain. And his character did turn out to be one of those characters you just fall in love with because they are the way they are. When it comes to the certain character's traits, I wasn't a fan of Han Chae Ah's character. Not because she was an obstacle in the main couple's relationship, but because of how the writers wrote her out to be. This is just my opinion, but I found her character to be quite pathetic and petty at times, excluding some of her comedic relief in the drama, but I think the writers could have gone a slightly different route with her character instead of making her out to act like basically a jealous teenager who couldn't get the man she loved. But I will admit, her character did change quite a bit even helping the lead's relationship towards the end, so in the end all was well.

The OST was pretty good as well. Cute and upbeat songs that you might possibly find yourself singing along to over time. Overall I recommend this drama if you're searching for a cute and bubbly rom-com to watch. Don't let the politics matter psych you out.. I guarantee you'll see this drama's value as you watch more episodes!

Its been a while since I was here for a review, but its just that whatever I watched didnt really appeal to me or the review was too negative that I didnt want to bother ppl with it.
Anyway I just finished watching EAMR. What a fun, enjoyable and happy show! and after a long time I might add. Either its a heavy melo which frustrates and depresses you or so stupid you give up.
Who ever did the casting, did a wonderful and perfect job. The actors were so perfect for their characters, down to the ones with the smallest parts. The main couple was just adorable. There were no evil and kill joys to spoil this show, even the reporter girl who is supposed to be annoying is quite likable.
Finally, if you want to watch a light fun romantic show, this is the one for you!!No pretty boys or deep dark drama, just pure entertainment.

"All About My Romance" is the perfect example of a rom-com done right. It was insanely funny, cute enough to plaster a smile on your face and criminally underrated. While I'm not necessarily sad that it's over, I do feel like I'll miss the hijinks this drama bought with it.
Story: Can two politicians from completely different parties find love? If you were to ask me this question a few months ago, I probably would have said something along the lines of "It sounds boring. I don't really care.". I barely pay attention to politics in real life, why should I watch a drama about it? However, after the first few minutes of the drama, I was sold hook, line and sinker. I loved how this drama can go from serious to laugh-out-loud funny in under a second. The politics weren't really the main focus of the drama, but they did play a key role in the conflicts. I'm glad that there wasn't too much emphasis put on the politics in this, but rather the cute and conflicting relationships all throughout. Just as the title shows, "All About My Romance" is seriously *all* about romance. I'm not joking. There is no other plot there, *but* romance (Well, there was a shot at makjang somewhere along the line, but I was willing to ignore it for the sake of both my sanity and my love for the main couple). Anyway, there were about four (?) different pairs of people involved (not necessarily four couples, there's waaaayyyy more pairings than that), but I can only think of two couples that are actually focused on for the whole show.
Acting: Lee Min Jung first dropped onto my radar back when I watched "Boys Over Flowers". She had a bubbly and bright screen presence, and I honestly see her becoming the next A-List actress sometime soon (?). One of my biggest issues with the drama's viewers is that many people dropped it simply because Shin Ha Kyun wasn't "attractive enough". While I do understand the whole eye-candy thing, isn't that a bit shallow? At least stick around a while if your whole issue is purely a visual thing. If those viewers had some issue with the plot, I could understand why they dropped it, but looks? Really? *sighs*
I'll admit, Shin Ha Kyun is not as attractive as he was back when he debuted, but his character's personality sort of made you immune to that, and over time you found him to be kind-of-sort-of attractive.
Y'know. In that ajusshi way. Sort of like one of those older models in those business magazines?
Moving on. Shin Ha Kyun acted really well in AAMR, and without his skills the whole thing would have probably collapsed. No offense to Lee Min Jung, but she just wasn't passionate enough for the drama to rest on her shoulders, and the second lead and minor actors weren't given enough screen time to help her out.
Music: Cute and adorable. The OST will forever bring a stupid grin to my face. I especially loved Akdong Musician's contribution to it.
Rewatch Value: For the funnier scenes, definitely.
Overall: Cute and light. AAMR tries to teach you something about love and tries to be more serious in the process, but it kind of flops in that department. I'm glad that this drama knew where its strengths were and stuck to them for the most part, though. 8/10

It seems to be typical for me that a lot of my favorite dramas end up being ones where the tv ratings aren't that good, and this is no exception.
My main reason for wanting to watch this was for Lee Min Jung, but I was really skeptical due to the political backdrop of the drama. I am someone who personally hates politics and everything about it. The first two episodes was kind of tough for me as it set the show up for that backdrop. After that though, it really was never a problem anymore. Mainly due to the characters being fun, and the romantic story being really good. Most dramas have your typical things that bug me and make me roll my eyes. I'm sick of drama characters that make stupid decisions and have characters that are so profoundly stupid that make you facepalm yourself at least a couple times every episode. This one had none of that for me, and thats what makes dramas like this extremely well written. That they can throw away those lame tv tropes of naive females. Yes, there may have been one instance or so of her questioning herself whether she really likes the person or not, in which I always find silly, but it was probably only once and it wasn't done in an annoying fashion. For the most part though, whenever I expect a scene to take a turn for the dumb, it surprises me by not doing so. It's a well put together drama, with not too much of your typical drama cliches. The only big one being the whole falling away from and then back together thing during the last episode, as I've seen that in just about every drama, but it wasn't enough to annoy me.
Overall I found the drama to be quite superb, very well handled and written. The characters were fun, sweet, and the cast was great. The romance of the story is very well handled and the two have great chemistry. Seriously, aren't you sick of all the dramas where they only kiss like once? Yeah, well they don't shy away from that nonsense here, as they make it feel like a real adult relationship....well at least without the xxx. It's just a sweet and romantic and fun drama.
Seriously, don't let the politics keep you away. You get used to it as it goes and it doesn't focus on it all that much. There may not be anything especially unique about this drama, but it doesn't need it as its just good as it is.

At first, I was really skeptical about starting a drama that had to do with politics. Why? When I hear politics, in my head it says "a lot of talking". Boy; I was dead wrong. The story is great, lots of cute comedic moments that I enjoyed in every single episode. The main lead (Shin Ha Kyun) portrayed very well the narcissist character at the start of the drama and literally ends up HEAD OVER HEELS for the lead actress (Lee Min Jung) who is this really upright and explosive politician who thinks she's right with whatever she does.

Cast wise, to be frank; I've never seen Shin Ha Kyun's works before and this is my first one ever. I've gotta say that my first impression went like: "Oh man, this guy is definitely not gonna have a good chemistry with the lead actress and I'm probably going to drop the drama because of that". (Yes, I drop dramas because I can't stand some of the chemistry between some lead characters. Don't ask why. :P). But nonetheless, gradually; I started to like his character. For Lee Min Jung, I have nothing big to say except for the fact that she plays her role very well. No complaints here. I've seen her works, this is one of the bests so far (In my opinion).

Music. Got to love the music. It just fits. Right time, right place, fitting the background. Got it on my iPod. 'nuff said. >8) Personal favorites, Shin Yong Jae's "Normal Love" which added MUCHO emphasis on the scenes that had waves of emotions going on. Also Akdong Musician's "I Love You"... I mean. I'm a dude and I literally smile through my rainy and gray days going to work with this pumped up to max volume. ANYWAYS. I made my point. Just get the whole dang OST.

Rewatch value. Why did I give this a lower rating than 8? That's just me. I don't really re-watch dramas that I've went through unless I really didn't understand a certain scene or was confused at some point during the drama. But 7 is pretty high of a score for re-watch value on my list.

To end this review, JUST WATCH IT. You're not going to regret it. Trust me.

Minh Makki out.

Where are my words? Watching Shin Ha Kyun and Lee Min Jung pretend to be in love in front of a camera is some of the best romance I have ever seen. In any language. What started off as a grin-a-minute romp morphs over 16 episodes into one of the cutest, most heartwrenching, and most believable love stories you're likely to get from kdrama.

STORY
Yes, I gave it a 10 in the Story category. And no, that isn't post-romance butterflies dancing in my heart (although I do have those). I tried really hard to find something in the story I didn't like, but there just wasn't anything. There wasn't a bad episode, a slow start, or a poorly handled cliché. There were clichés of course, but they were done so well that I couldn't justify docking points in this category.

There really aren't any weak moments in the show. It never becomes too tragic, too sappy, too silly, or too dramatic. While the portrayal of Korean politics feels absurd throughout, the characters feel exactly real enough to sell the whole thing. All About My Romance gives audiences a beautiful, classic story of love blooming despite social boundaries: boundaries of family, past, and ideology.

First, you have the two leads. I can't explain the chemistry between the two of them in text. You just have to see it for yourselves. Even before they realize how they feel about each other, I was already telling my wife "I want to see SO MUCH MORE of the two of them together". The second lead characters are particularly well-written, too, though. Although they both could easily have fit the role of "Uninspired Villain", the writers avoided using that easy crutch and instead gave us two great, likable, and sympathetic second leads. As good as the OTP is, the second leads here add just as much to this story.

On top of all of this, halfway through the drama, they bluntly and suddenly drop a massive plot twist on you that completely changes the interpersonal landscape of the plot. It turns out that one of the Supporting characters, who acts quite suspiciously throughout, is not at all who the audience is led to believe he/she is. This twist transforms a potential villain into a sympathetic character in one fell swoop, and it's not until the twist that you're likely to understand this character's actions. The seeds of this twist are sewn throughout the plot perfectly, and once it lands you'll think back to several scenes and go "Oh, THAT'S what that was all about!"

Lastly, the cinematography here is much more creative and beautiful than you usually get from a drama, too. You'll see a lot of great shots and some fantastic framing that really adds dramatic punch to several story moments.

ACTING/CAST
The four Lead Roles are so stellar here that I really wanted to give another 10. I can't imagine anyone ever tiring of their character portrayals here. All 4 get to flex their substantial acting muscles across the kdrama spectrum: comedy, melodrama, physical humor and stunts, romance, and even some worthwhile reaction shots. It's a drama tour de force among these 4.

Shin Ha Kyun is utterly hilarious, and manly enough to turn even my wife's head (not easy to do). I really doubt anyone could watch this and not fall for his performance here. In fact, he has one of the all-time greatest acting moments I have ever seen in about Episode 3 (iirc), where his character realizes, undeniably, in the middle of a political meeting, that he has fallen in love. It's a moment I would love to see again and again. Major kudos to Shin Ha Kyun for it, and the entirety of his work in All About My romance.
Lee Min Jung is... well, I'll get to her later.
Park Hee Soon plays a role that's a bit unusual for him but he absolutely knocks it out of the park. When I first saw his character, I thought "Why did they get someone so ugly to play a romantic second lead?" And yet, his ugliness became part of his charm as the show marched on. I don't know how else to explain it.
And I loved Han Chae Ah the first moment I saw her. In fact, she was the first thing that I laughed my head off at in Episode 1. She was funny and attractive and her portrayal of a beautiful woman who loved to be hated by the men in her life really resonated with me.

The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because the Supporting cast, while very good, is not quite as strong as it could be. And, to be fair, Han Chae Ah loses a tiny bit of her spark toward the end when she isn't allowed to do as much comedy as I would have liked. Still, there's only nitpicks that can be leveled at this. It's a fantastic cast. I give Supporting Cast Honorable Mention here to Kim Hye Ok. For an "old ahjumma", she's quite charming here, and utterly hilarious.

Before I move on, though, here is where I simply have to say a special word about Lee Min Jung. First of all, she may have the most beautiful face in the world. I don't feel like I'm exaggerating much there. She's at least in the running for that award. But beyond that, she was born to play a role like this. Why? Her eyes. In All About My Romance, LMJ plays a tough and independent politician who, while still making a modest effort to be attractive, actively avoids romantic entanglements. But when confronted with somebody who cares about her unconditionally, despite the million reasons he has not to, she exhibits a vulnerability underneath all that bluster that reaches levels of charm that defy description. And it's her exceptional eyes that really pull off that combo. She is able to switch from "defiant" to "scared", or "angry" to "thrilled", in just a flicker of her eyes. And if you're a sucker like me, your heart will be pulled helplessly along. It has been a good long while since I have pined for an actress as much as I have for Lee Min Jung in this role.

MUSIC
First of all, listen to the main theme "I Love You" by Akdong Musician: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvQu63cMQ0w
Have you listened to it? Wasn't it cute? That's as cute as this whole show is. This song will get you bobbing your head every time, and you'll smile every time you hear the adorable "I love you!" that the female singer blurts out at the end.

Beyond that one song, though, the incidental music here is better than you'll get in most dramas. There's actual style to the background music, with various European instrumentations, instead of your usual Korean Drama Synth Philharmonic that comes standard on 80% of kdrama. I love it.

REWATCH VALUE
I don't normally score shows this high, but the sheer amount of adorable scenes, hilarious moments, romantic mishaps, and plot twist hints all through the drama make it very rewatchable. If I were ever to go back and rewatch EVERY episode of a drama, it would be this one, simply to see everything again with a fresh perspective, knowing how it all ends and what twists are coming.

BOTTOM LINE
As near to being a perfect drama as you can get without actually being Healer, All About My Romance joins Fated To Love You and Oh My Venus on my Top 3 Romantic Comedies list. It has everything anyone would ever want from this genre, and more. If you're a rom-com fan and you haven't seen this one, there is literally (LITERALLY) no reason whatsoever for you to pass this one up.

A light, feel good drama with some really fun characters. This drama started off really well and then plateaued through most of the middle part until the last two episodes where it perked up again.

My main problem with this drama is the plot or lack of it. The scene is all set, you like the characters and you wait for things to happen, and.. nothing much happens. The plot always hinted at some conflict going to happen, but nothing happens.

What I liked most about this drama are the characters- esp. the supporting characters. Almost all of the supporting cast were really good and always lifted up the general stagnant mood. This is probably the only drama so far, where I looked forward to the scenes with supporting cast more than the main leads.
Don't get me wrong- the main leads are very good actors and they look cute together and all that, but the character graph was a let down for me.
Both Kim Soo Young and Noh Min Young started off as unique, strong individuals, but in less than one half of the drama became very mellowed down, boring versions which didn't change much. Comparatively, Joon Ha and Hee Sun turned out to be more interesting characters.

About the romance- there's a lot of cute,'romantic' scenes that were fine to watch. But the underlying equation between them seemed skewed always. Kim Soo Young was always besotted with Min Young and for her, several other things came first. Disappointingly for me, that equation never really changed. Given that, every other lovey-dovey thing they did, didn't convey much to me.

To give credit to the makers- the music is good, especially the fun, perky song that comes in the happy moments. Also, they've tried to give closure to all the characters- and in a happy way.
So, if you like a light drama with good looking actors, fun characters and not much plot- this is a good choice.

Lee Min Jung is really great in these roles. She's naturally sarcastic and angsty without ever coming across as hateable. She is very comedic with her facial expressions alone, which is hard to pull off. She and Shin Ha Kyun bounced off each other well with their contrasting personalities and styles of acting alike. The show was funny in all aspects. The romance comedy aspects and the political side. So if you're not political by nature, that's not a problem. It's all light hearted and you don't really get a lot of the political aspects, just the petty comment sides. The side characters are surprisingly strong. Gong Hyung Jin as Moon Bong Shik was rather bubbly and light hearted as our main (not) antagonist. Likeable and hateable at times. He changed and evolved as the show progressed and his relationship with Kim Soo Yeong turned from out right rival to a small friendship. Super solid show that was funny to watch and interesting from start to finish.
