KINGS MARKKIT ONLY
it's the best thing ever happened to me that I randomly found markkits first kiss clip on YouTube. And since then iam binge watching gen y on repeat. I even made a cut of markkits only and I only watch that 😅Others are just confusing and useless kind of in this series.
Although I thank God that I watched gen y first and then 2moons other wise I would have so disappointed for wayu and pha.
Their acting level is so high in 2moons
And I literally have no words for KIMCOP ❤️
I even watch 2moons2 just to know the further story so I can imagine kimcop gadbad taetee in that storyline 😅😅😅❤️
I just hate only one thing in gen y that they didn't do justice with Markkit screentime. Their should be more markkit screentime time together.

A mess and just horrible
I watched Gen Y while it was airing in December 2020. Around that time i was just introduced to the BL genre. As i rewatched it in the past few days i couldn't believe that i didnt drop it at that time. Its horrible.This series was originally focused on Mark & Kit, but along the end i just didnt see them anymore. So much was going on with the side couples that everything just shifted away from the original leads. It was so confusing. All of a sudden this supernatural destiny thing pops up out of nowhere? I didnt get it at all. There were so many unnecessary scenes that was put in between the "big" events just to fill out the space. The acting was very akward from many of the actors and i cringed a lot of times. I only watched it for Mark & Kit. but it was a big fat scam.
The thing that bothered me the most was Wayu. He's portrayed in the most stereotypical way ever. He's a bottom and that literally defines his whole personality. He's a 5 year old little princess that needs protection every fucking second.
Not only Wayu, but many many many characters was too bland or just dramatic.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Its really just a waste of time, but if you really have nothing to watch then give it a go.

Alternate Universe of 2moon
I have a hard time describing what this drama is supposed to be, is this 2moon sequel? While most characters are still here, some characters magically disappeared, some events happened others never happened, or happened differently.Me after the first episode… Ok let’s treat it like 2Moon alternate universe with Mark and Kit as lead (anyway I liked them best in 2moon)
Now the main couple, their storyline is pretty good and worth watching. But something is off and cringy. I had a hard time putting my finger on it but it's a mixture of Mark character, it was almost like he was written by two writers who had similar but at the same time vastly different visions of him in mind. There is also a problem of lack of chemistry between the main couple. Some people would push it on bad acting but their performance in group scenes or with other actors is pretty solid. There are many romantic scenes that I would normally love but due to their chemistry, they are at best mediocre.
Then episode 9 - is pretty normal until a couple that misses each other for the last 8 episodes finally meet and have a flashback - me - wow is this analogy to leaving behind your past and moving on? I like it… but no, now they both have mysterious visions at the same time - I didn’t know I watched supernatural shows till this moment…
Episode 9 also adds other changes, like - let’s push the main couple to the side and give their screen time to others. Then adding to the new love triangle, we also have elements that could come out straight from Wanda Vision.
This show also has way too many characters, like we have maybe 15 - 20 min in the 9 ep. each one hour long is about some dudes at the pool, their storyline doesn't add anything to main storyline so why we still randomly get feed scenes of them? Since their screen time is so short it would be better to delete it completely because it's only confusing viewers. But in the last 3 episodes, they suddenly get promoted and have more screen time than the main couple - while most of the viewers (or just me) don’t care about them at all at his point in time.
We also have a plotline about Pha hiding from Wayu, can’t meet, can’t contact, can’t explain anything for some unknown mysterious reason … still driving his own car like nothing in the city and creeping from shadow to stalk Wayu… True love in the finest.
In conclusion, if the showrunner stuck to the main couple it would really improve this drama overall, side plots are confusing at best or just plain weird.

Meus Atores Prediletos

WHAT A PILE OF MESS AND DISAPPOINTMENT!!!
So for this series, I was really confused and stressed of what's going on because the plot twists and some things are cliche and redundant. I can't take it that Wayu is suffering in love for the few last episodes. The Mysterious Pha did not really helped because, goddamn he broke Wayu's heart then coming back at the end making the series disappointing to end. What's the sense of hiding Pha's face off cam?!? KimCop is way better and, I must say, the only saving grace of the show. There were lots of twist and turns in this series and those were awful in a sense. Maybe it's just me, but the other cast were so confusing of which whom is whom? that kind of thing. I heard this series is meant to shed some sunshine to KimCop couple but my god why it feels like Bass's character is the center of this series. I feel so sad for Wayu because he had been so lonesome since his breakup with Pha, only to be revived and let down by Thanu. I don't get it!??!!Like I say KimCop is the best (well, the only) couple of this series and they should have been given a series of their own and leaving Wayu alone with Pha. The OSTs are good but damn the plot is a disappointing. Some of y'all need to fix that next season. I don't want to have snooze fest episodes throughout the next season that this season gave me.
You better come through next time....

What a mess!
There isn't plot at all. The screenwriters just sh*tted on 2Moons story and characters. Watching this is like experience the journey of a boat in the middle of the ocean without any navigation plan... There are too many nonsenses that I won't waste (more) time to enlisted it. If you like 2Moons, please refrain yourself to watch this mess.They even are looking forward to a second season, that must be something criminal! I watched seven episodes and dropped it (be aware this is the only BL series that I dropped by far).
P.S. I only liked the acting of Kimmon, Bas, Junior and Dun.

2moons in futer life? No!
At first, when I saw the thrailer, I was angry and upset because they took the same charakters from 2moons and put in the dirfrent series with litle bit difrent plot. I wasn't want watch it after watched thriler, but when I saw some spilers with Mark and Kit, I fall in the chemistry between them. This is amazing! I love Mark feelings exspresion and acting. Kit is the same Kit from 2moons but we can see how he is changing. In this series I'm not intresting in Whayo and Pha besause for me it's boring now. We have fantastic 2moons2 and we don't need Gen Y with Whayo's and Pha problems.If you are intresting with Mark and Kit relationship, you must watch this series!

this was a crazy roller costar ride in a nut house
a crazy trip induced by the writers and production team being on some heavy hallucinogens, otherwise no explaining this plot - and don't get me wrong there were fun, funny, happy, cute moments but the dark shadow of Wayu eclipsed every other character. Kit and Mark may have been intended to be the mains, and when they had their scene time, they f*cking shined - but in came "debbie downer" the one and only self-absorbed reigning queen and the pity party started. i don't know why this drama revolved around Wayu - this character was a drag in 2Moons and he wasn't any better here. always with that hang-dog look, like the puppy everyone loves to abuse - when in actual fact this dude is like a 3 yr old that hasn't learned how to walk or do anything without assistance, he is pampered more then an infant - i doubt that a child of 3-4 has been coddle this much.. every character was worrying about poor fragile Wayu - why??? he a normal young adult that is studying to be a freakin Doctor - how he gonna survive in the world, when he needs to be hand held all the time - plz??? who wrote this ridiculous character?!?and for whatever reason "the powers that be" wanted to wipe-out Pha's charecter - and if anyone watched 2Moons (which is did twice, 2 Moons (2017) + 2 Moons 2 (2019) both versions) the story was the same, as the second one was a remake with different actors - so why make this whacky version where Yu didn't follow Pha to his University cause he had a crush on him forever - but this new "twist" where Thanu was Yu's savior and the knight in shining armor just had to pop-out to save someone else, so he left the fainting damsel in distress to Pha. and Yu mistook his real savior and fell for the wrong guy - like PLzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
plus all the talk about destiny and true soulmates - not to mention all the B.S. about Thanu and Phai being able to see their future as a couple together - that developed into Phai being able to predicted any threats towards Thanu.. like come on - how far-fetched r u gonna be with this - cause it was getting ridiculous - and this is meant to be A Kit and Marks story - yeah?!??
if this was worth the watch is was cause of Mark and Kit that did a great job at portraying a genuine couple in the midst of all the Yu drama. both character were true to their personality and they took their time getting close - and it felt real and it was enjoyable and very gratifying after the headache, the rest of this drama turned into.
other then them Sab, Klui, Jack, Koh heck even Padbok were a breath of fresh air that added interest and excitement to the uninspiring dreariness that was the Yu's sob story - even with the annoying Thanu added to the mix - it wasn't any better -
but if i'ma check out the 2nd season, it will Only be cause of Pok and Tong, these two came out of nowhere - it was unexpected to say the least - as there was so much going on that had nothing to do with anything, and suddenly their story was the strongest - it went from zero to a hundred in the blink of an eye... but there wasn't enough backstory to get the character's and where they were coming from, or why they were acting as they were - most of it was a guessing game and yet they were the mains in the last episode. they dominated the stage and i wish i had more of them - and no, not cause they were the only ones to "sleep" together - but cause there was fire there, and a story u could "sink ur teeth" into.. Mark and Kit just lost momentum and they were cute but lowkey - back in the shadows cause they wanted Yu to take front stage - donno why

*SPOILERS* 2Moons reincarnated but worse. *SPOILERS*
This series was promoted to be a continuation of Mark and Kits love "story". The trailer itself showcased that we would get all the Mark/Kit (previously known as Ming/Kit) that was craved during 2Moon. It would have some familiar faces while also adding new and handsome ones . But sadly, the trailer was a LIE!!!!The main storyline started off about Mark/Kit with splashes of Wayu/Pha then it takes a disgusting turn. Pha breaks up with Wayu for some unknown reason and the focus is shifted to a heartbroken Wayu. Mark/Kit relationship develops at a pace slower than the slowest snail . Their conversations mainly revolve around Wayu and how to distract him from himself. Mark/Kit literally get fewer and fewer scenes as we focus on Wayu. (¬_¬ ). People were calling the main couple boring only because the writers stopped caring about their relationship development. I have never seen a show where the main couple was put on the back burner by its own writers like this one.
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
A lot of the side couples became center stage the last few episodes. The last episode literally had 3min of solo Mark/Kit. One of the side couples had more make-out and intimate couple scenes then the main pairing. I assume there will be a season two from how they ended it but I won't be watching that. There is a lot of toxic behavior shown and I am not here for it. The worst part is that everyone enabled Wayu and He ate that sh*t up. I am not sure I want to give the writers or directors a chance after watching this garbage. That maybe harsh but I feel very strongly about how bad this was executed. I really want to tell people to not watch this but I need everyone to see how bad this was.
The only good thing that I can say about this drama after wasting my time is Sandee. Sandee Cheeks if you will .
(*/ω\*)MELANATED, TALL, and CHEEKY, just the whole damn package.

started out amazing but got lost in between - still worth a watch
It started out amazing...till like the 5th episode and then did the storywriter get confused between the main and the supporting roles??!! HOW DID HE MANAGE TO SIDETRACK KIT-MARK!!! arrghhOverall, I would recommend you see the first 6 episodes and then drop it ( thinking of it as a mini-series)- worth watching just for KIT-MARK cuteness <3
Ok, few things need to be said about this show:
Firstly, Kit-Mark story is adorable. They look great (absolutely yummy!) and their acting on point. You felt so invested in their relation. Then after the 6th episode they became the supporting actors for Wayu (Why oh lord why?)
Secondly, wtf is going on with Wayu-Thanu-Phai seeing flashbacks & the future? Did the show suddenly move to supernatural genre? It was damn ridiculous and confusing!
Thirdly, Pok and tong have alot going on and need more time - but what is happening to Tong's expression? When they were in bed why did he show expressions of being in pain instead of passion! Dude, what man!
All that said aside - i am really looking forward to GenY 2 and hoping it will be about KIT-MARK as lead! *fingers crossed*

Certo, conceito copy/paste estabelecido. Seguimos para os personagens:
MARK: Ao longo dos episódios, eu senti que a diferença destacada entre o Mark e o Ming é que o Mark tem um pouquinho mais de atitude e é um pouquinho mais irritante. Se você for parar pra pensar, Ming não toma muitas atitudes ativas em relação ao Kit, já o Mark tá determinadíssimo a conquistar o coração do P'. Se em 2Moons o romance deles é pautado pelo sentimento de "deixa acontecer naturamente" (que acaba sendo meio travado porque o Kit não coopera), então em Gen Y dá pra dizer que quem pauta o clima é o próprio Mark, seja com suas investidas diretas que deixam bem na cara seus sentimentos, sejam nas provocações só pra ver o Kit irritado, ou até na parte em que eles brigam, sempre é o Mark quem define o clima, tudo que o Kit faz é seguir ele de longe (sempre fazendo o doce, como a gente bem conhece);
KIT: Mesma pessoa nos dois universos ponto. Claro, isso até a história ir se desenrolando, mas a excência se mantém a mesma. A única diferença entre Kit 2Moons (e aqui me refiro à primeira temporada apenas, já que na segunda o desenvolvimento do personagem vai um pouquinho além) e Kit Gen Y é o tempo. Em Gen Y, por ser uma série protagonizada por MarkKit ~~~em teoria~~~, o Kit tem mais tempo de mostrar sua evolução como personagem (por mais que 2Moon2 consiga fazer um pouco disso mesmo com MingKit sendo secundários). Na minha visão, a linha que separa os dois Kits é a briga do casal principal. Depois que eles se afastam, o Kit acaba tendo que encarar seus sentimentos e se obriga a levar o Mark a sério, mesmo que seu ego insista em lhe prender no padrão antigo de fingir que não se importa. Depois desse marco nós somos capazes de conhecer um novo Kit, um Kit mais maduro que não é guiado completamente pelo ego. Em consequência, um Kit diferente do que vemos em 2Moons;
WAYU: Antes que eu pareça muito dura com o Yu, sinto que preciso contar aqui que eu já não vou muito com a cara do Bas (sorry bae). Não que a atuação dele me desagrade (em parte isso também, mas eu consigo ver que ele evoluiu desde 2Moons), é só que ele tem cara de Bella Swan (FGTYUIJHGVFGTHJsorry again). Levando isso em conta, me sinto mais livre pra dizer que todo o drama do Wayu me irritou PROFUNDAMENTE durante toda a série. Todo o tempo que ele passou sentindo pena de si mesmo, correndo desesperado atrás do Pha me dava vontade de entrar na tela, dar um tapa estalado na cara dessa criança e dizer "ACORDA PRA VIDA CRIATURA". Sinceramente Yu... Mas, certo, roteiro a parte, eu ainda sinto que o Bas não fez um papel incrííível como Yu (as always cof), principalmente depois de observar o desenvolvimento dele com o Thanu. Tinha tudo pra ser um romance lindinho, apesar das tretas envolvidas, eu super queria que eles terminassem juntos, mas toda vez que dava close no Bas eu pensava "Eu sei o que você é... Você é... Um vampiro, P'Thanu!". Blé;
THANU: Um dos personagens mais decentes, até o plot twinst. Eu realmente gostava do P'Nu, apesar dele não aparecer com tanta frequência (quando os produtores ainda estavam dedicados em manter MarkKit como protagonistas /faleiesaicorrendo). Gosto do estilo dele, quieto e meio avoado, daqueles que quando sorri faz você se derreter inteiro. Daí ele começou a se aproximar do Yu, teve toda a questão com o Pha e depois o Phai e aí eu fiquei irritada com ele. Fala sério! O menino não se decidia, mesmo que tivesse plena conciência de que o que ele tava fazendo não envolvia só ele, mas também outras duas pessoas que confiavam nele! Isso me deixou indignada, não gosto de gente que finge não ver a responsabilidade que tá bem no nariz delas. Pff;
PHAI: Pobre alma. Jurava que ele ia ficar com o Sandee, mas aí uma problematização bem aleatória, na minha opinião, surgiu do nada com um conceito meio sobrenatural. A personalidade dele é fofinha, faz você querer que ele tenha um final feliz, mas todo o contexto da história é tão confuso e bad vibes que você fica sem saber o que sentir direito em relação a ele;
PHA: Eu entendo a problematização que as pessoas colocaram na presença dele na série. Não cheguei a pesquisar qual foi a desculpa da StarHunter pra manter o rosto do Pha escondido até o último momento do drama, mas também foi uma decepção pra mim no final. Acho problemático o argumento de "ele poderia ser tão bonito quanto o God" porque, convenhamos, beleza é relativa e não faz sentido comparar um ator com outro, por mais que eles interpretem o "mesmo personagem" (meu coração ainda pertence ao Ben rs). Em relação ao desenvolvimento do personagem em si, eu odiei o que eles fizeram com o Pha. Transformar ele num fuck boy que "roubou" a presença do "verdadeiro amor do Yu" é uma forma bem zoada de ver as coisas. Quer dizer, por mais que ele tenha feito tudo errado a partir do momento que termina com o Yu, não faz sentido desvalidar tudo que os dois viveram com aquela desculpa esfarrapada do final. Pha amou o Yu e ponto, independente do que tenha acontecido antes deles se conhecerem. Ainda assim, também me irrita tudo que o Pha fez, desde afastar o Yu até ficar dando falsas esperanças pra ele. Você pode me dar o motivo que for, desde "ele precisou estudar fora" até "a família dele não aceitava", nenhum desses motivos justifica o fato dele ter fugido e deixado o Yu no escuro. O que o Pha faz em Gen Y é ser um covarde do início ao fim. Um covarde que acha que continua tendo moral, mesmo depois de quebrar o coração do Yu;
