They both feature idol trainees on their mission to debut! Each show goes through different episodes full of performances that consist of dancing, singing, rap and also songwriting!

-Chuang 2020 is a girl version of WAY but pretty much the same!!
-both debut groups from each show will be in the industry at the same time, showing off their talents as idol groups
-Both sets of trainees have amazing talents!

They are competing shows. both are survival shows to form a girl group from 100+ trainees at the beginning. The shows follow the same formula. There's the 1st stage, 1st elimination, 2nd stage, 2nd elimination, 3rd stage, collab stage, 3rd elimination, and final performance and final elimination. each of the eliminations will eliminate around half of the trainees and are decided by public votes. What makes the shows even more similar is the shows overlap in their broadcast dates.

Chuang 2020 is like a "sequel" to Chuang 2019 however it's girls this time. The final debut grp is called BonBon 303. The concept of Chuang is applied to all the program and it's also a voting based debuting.

Have the same girl group survival concept of placing girls in a temporary group and elimination. Some of the Chinese members in Girls Planet 999 also participated in this survival show such as Su Ruiqi, Shen Xiaoting and Ma Yu Ling.

Season 2 of Idol Producer, but similar in helping idol trainees showcase their talent and helping them debut at the end!
