Girl Next Room (2020)

This thai series called " Girl next room" has about 4 chapters, 4 different stories of 4 girls finding their soulmate. The first chapter is with my favourite actors and of course ,I don't remember their names. I love the new story setting but it's too short. Why , i recommend not to rewatch it ,because the next chapter looks more interesting . Whatever, motorcycle baby is a girl with trust issues especially with love. Her mom told her men are cruel and not to be trusted, ofcourse she find out the hard way. Later she has too choose between her ex boyfriend or her new crush.? enjoy

" Motorcycle baby " , the first part of the Thai series " Girl next Room " gave a nice beginning and promised great potential for the overall series.

The story was pretty cute and fun at first, though it got a turn towards a more dramatic and dark twist in the final episodes. The love story was sweet, in addition, with a solid background story to support it. The love triangle was interesting too. However, there were some parts that got frustrating to watch, especially towards the ending, as the characters seemed to be getting into circles and they made awkwardly decisions. Still, it was short and sweet, and they did explain everything in the final episode, though the conclusion of the romance needed some more time to get fully developed and believable. Shout out to the adorable and hilarious side characters that made this drama worth it.

So, overall, seven out of ten.

Would've Been Great Without the Last Episode

While this was a quick and overall fun show to watch, there were a lot of misses with this one for me. I wasn’t overly enthused by the premise— second-chance romances are some of my least favorite— and Sundae as a character wasn’t the type I’d typically enjoy watching. I did come to care for her by the end of the show, but I didn’t love her the way I loved, for example, Mimi from the next segment in this series.

In terms of the love triangle, I personally wasn’t a fan of the main lead at all and really preferred the second lead. The parts of the show I liked the best were when Sundae was either with her friends or with Mile. Those sections were the most fun and authentic for me— and whenever Tankhun came into the picture I wasn’t as interested. I also really disliked how the love triangle was handled in the end, where Mile was made out to be a bad guy out of nowhere just so Sundae was free to end up with Tan. The writers didn’t need to ruin Mile’s character just to make Tan look better, but that’s what they ended up doing.

The final episode was also very weird for me. I understand the writers wanting to make the show, however short it may be, deeper and touch on more serious topics, but I did not like how it was handled. Sundae’s depression wasn’t even really hinted at in the first five episodes and so when it came to light, it felt like a sharp turn in the story. It didn’t feel natural or engrained in the narrative at all.

Even so, I did mostly enjoy watching this. The acting was really strong— every actor did a brilliant job. I loved how the “Girl Next Room” series was introduced with Sky’s rap (it was HILARIOUS) and how we had a rap to preview the next installment in the series at the end. It was very funny and a very creative way to keep tying the shows together.

Overall, it was a fairly sweet and fun show to watch, though honestly I could have done without the final episode. Not one I would probably rewatch, but I’m not upset I watched it.

This one has wacky intro with rapping Neo Trai... And it's a pitty HE couldn't be the main love interest:)

That might at least be funny and Toy Pathompong could stay in support role for all I care.

I lost my overall interest soon, furthermore I disliked both the main girl & guy & alcoholic mother & second guy (...) that I left watching during episode 3.

The only interesting thing about 'Girl Next Room' is that each next room girl has her own personality weakness. And we can watch them how they overcome it with love, lol. However, while it's cute in some cases ('Midnight Fantasy') or at least watchable in others ('Richy Rich'), this time I'll skip right into the last story, and I should hope that Kao Jirayu would be bit less unbearable...
