Lord Situ pretends not to know about the sphere gift. But he tells General Chu to look for the retired Eunuch Shi for more information. Rou Rou insists to Ruo Nan that she wants to see Shen Jin. Lord Situ assumes that the Emperor has died from outside the hall. But he is cornered instead.
