soft and intriguing!

i'm still so curious about the past of these characters. we learn more bit by bit, which definitely helps to propel the story along. the little snippets of a character's background are some of the best parts - and i'll complain a bit because we've yet to see more of eun sub's story! i know he has one, if even a small one, and i'm excited to learn about it.

hae won's mother is an interesting character. it's clear she suffered some abuse at the hands of her husband, though they've only shown positive flashbacks of him thus far. i'm curious to know where it all went wrong, and why she kept leaving her daughter behind in the house often (as hae won mentioned before). i thought i would like hae won's old friend, bo young, and i thought perhaps there was a big misunderstanding between the two of them, but she's getting a bit annoying now. she's persistent in returning to her old friendship with hae won, though things have changed between the two of them, and i can't believe she still refuses to see what she did wrong. of course, maybe there's more to the story than has been revealed.

hae won and eun sub are so cute and i'm rooting for them! this new guy seems to be someone who will pass quickly, by the looks of the preview for the next episode. i'm down for that!
