Set during the tumultuous Warring States Period and chronicles the beginnings of historic figures such as Lu Bu Wei and Zhao Ji against the backdrop of war and conquest by the Qin Empire.

It's from the same franchise. They are both focused on Qin during Warring States, features various states scheming against each other, multi-party vying for power, well known advisors, origins of proverbs. Recommending 2 largely because it has subs on netflix and it's IMO the best installment of the franchise.

The Legend of Mi Yue is the predecessor of the Qin Dynasty Epic. The former drama depicts how the Mi clan who was originally from the Chu Kingdom, had come to be so powerful within the Qin Kingdom. It (The Legend of Mi Yue) also dispels the common belief that the terracotta soldiers were the making of Qin Shi Huang, but in fact have dated a few generations back to his great grand mother, Mi Yue. The drama provides some background on the significance of Shang Yang's philosophy of Legalism which young Ying Zheng is made to study in this drama (Qin Dynasty Epic).

Set during Warring States period but gives a different take to the events focusing on other states like Wei,Chu,Han and doesn't focus on Qin but instead leads up to the events portrayed in this drama.

It follows the Qin State during the late stages of the Warring States era. Ying Zheng, Lu Bu Wei, Li Si, Wang Jian, and many formidable politicians work together to unite the six states under one rule. The Qin Empire becomes the first dynasty of Imperial China.
The Qin State has achieved strategic dominance among the six states due to aggressive measures put forth by King Zhao Xiang. After the consecutive deaths of King Zhao Xiang and his successor King Xiao Wen, the royal court was thrown into disputes over legitimacy. Lu Bu Wei, a powerful and influential merchant attempts to seize power by helping Ying Yi Ren, a prince in exile, to the throne. The eldest prince leaves the capital bringing the political unrest to a close.

Ying Zheng starts on a bloody path to becoming an emperor as he uses the people around him to secure power.
