Tang Fan has the four archers shoot the explosives. Sui Zhou stops the fireworks, but then he quits because his commander won't listen to him to go save the emperor. Wang Zhi takes the emperor out of the palace but then they are surrounded by Li Zhi Long's men. Sui Zhou rushes in and takes the emperor out through a secret passageway. Officials go to arrest Tang Fan for letting the foreign archers out of the jail. Wang Zhi rushes out and is killed along with the fake emperor. Sui Zhou takes the emperor to the temple.
