This movie Isn't for everyone but....

It's a compelling movie of twists and turns of thrills and gore, it follows multiple stories, those of people in debt, or other's who have unstable relationships, it shows the greed and temptation when someone is pushed far over the edge of normality, showing people slowly turn into 'beasts', where it illustrates people in situations where the only way to survive is to risk everything to get there even if that means being unethical and destroying other people, this movie shows the true nature of someone when there is a chance of a life changing amount of money close from reach. ,The film is structured in a clever way from the timelines to the way the story is split to different chapters like a book. Each chapter felt like a branch of a tree slowly growing enough to the center of the tree which would be the final outcome
Just by looking at the cast this was already in my mind a movie I shouldn't miss and I was right, the acting from all of the characters was crazy good which really made the movie more enjoyable.
Overall I recommend this to a particular type of audience more on the mature side who can stomach gore and blood and slightly graphic violent scenes, It is a must watch if you enjoy thrillers and mystery's!

The second K-movie that I watched and liked in 2020 after The man standing next. Well, I really liked this noir thriller. Especially, the way plot is written. It stands away from the conventional way of scripting where the viewers doesn't even get a clue how this is gonna end up. To remind you, as always , this is not everyones cup of tea. I won't say that this is a cult one either but it a watchable flick and defensively in my top 50 kmovies. There isn't a lot of violent graphic scenes but I would recommend the light hearted non violence chaps to skip this one. Overall, I would give an 8 cause anything less would be a bit unfair.

The story includes dark humor, gore/mature/violent scenes, and leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Basically, it's a movie about several immoral people who would do anything for a bag loaded with money and a poor/hard-working family who got caught up in their vicious fight by coincidentally finding that bag.

The casting was great but I am still not impressed by their choice of participating in this movie. The story is not completely bad, but it could have been better. If you plan to watch it, make sure you watch this alone before you decide if it will be suitable for your friends/relatives to do so too.

They say the Love of Money is the Root of all of Evil

An arch, multi-strand, multi-character three-ring circus movie revolving around a Louis Vuitton overnight bag full of cash that long-suffering sauna worker Joong-man (Bae Sung Woo finds in an abandoned locker at work. While Joong-man sees in the bag a chance to escape his drudgery-filled life, dealing with his overbearing mother and pissed-off wife, other sets of characters are no less invested in acquiring this untraceable fortune.

Everyone from sleazy customs official Tae Young (Jung Woo-Sung), who is on the hook to gangsters for a debt incurred by his missing wife to Yun Hee (Shin Hyun-bin), an escort who is fed-up-and-ready to take revenge on her husband who beats her regularly by trying to pull off a con job on a well-off besotted client of hers. And then there’s the Yun Hee’s imperious boss (Jeon Do Yeon), a goddess in lipstick who knows what it’s like to be hurt by men.

Some of the plot’s maneuvers are quite intricate and interestingly portrayed in chapters akin to one reading a book, with each chapter cleverly tying into the book's main premise, so to speak. At times the story is hard to follow, but that doesn’t in any way take away from the performances, which are all perfectly pitched, from the leads right down to the comic-relief minor characters, such as Park Ji-Hwan’s lowlife sidekick and Youn Yuh-Jung as Joon Man’s overbearing mother. The intense color palette blends neon signs and green-lit interiors with the vast amounts of scarlet blood that flows due to the frequent violence. There is no denying there is much violence but isn’t that expected when money is involved in the mix.
