Both Refresh Man and What's Wrong With Secretary Kim have few similarities, such as leads knowing each other when they were younger, the CEO/ employee relationship, the impossible to please boss, rich man, poor woman trope. The reason I do recommend Refresh Man if you liked What's Wrong with Secretary Kim is they both are written well despite their overuse of certain tropes and cliches.
KSS had a supernatural storyline WWSK does not and plot wise I preferred KSS. I think there is a lot of similarity in the relationship between the main leads and their past.
- FL works for the ML, in WWSK she is his secretary in KSS she is his subordinate and he is her mentor.
- FL and ML knew each other when they were younger and shared a tragedy, in KSS the leads actually knew each other, they grew up together for a bit and were really close, in WWSK they knew each other for like a day.
- FL promises the ML that they will meet again after they part for years (in WWSK she says she will marry him).
- ML finds FL at his workplace were she is his subordinate and he basically makes her life hell with all the work he gives her whilst she does not recognise that he was her childhood friend.
- Takes them several years working together for them to actually develop romantic feelings for each (though in KSS the ML says that he always liked her and in WWKS it is hinted that the ML may have always liked her) other and get together.

1. Rich Male Leads: The male leads in both are wealthy, successful, pretty self-absorbed individuals. Their wealth, high social status play role here
2. Strong Female Leads: The female leads are portrayed as capable, independent, and strong-willed women. They have their own careers and are not merely defined by their relationships with the male leads.
3. Office Romance: Both revolve around an office romance. The settings often involve the workplace, where much of the interaction between the leads occurs.
4. Humorous Situations

In both series an arrogant, abusive and weird male lead of significant wealth, position and power is hideously treating a resourceful but childish female lead until she falls in love with him for no reason at all. All characters are nearing their 40s and are of course virgins and never had any prior romantic relationships. Really similar main couple dynamics.
For me, it's a similar type of humor in these two series. In addition, the comedian effects used are the same (the elements of animation, as in fairy tales); these are the series that we can love or hate, we have a bit of exaggeration in the creation of heroes and, indeed, in the acting. But it's style of these dramas, not lack of actors' skills.
-Romcom with a cute, mature romance that isn't bogged down with unnecessary drama. Drama is solved quickly and doesn't drag on ridiculously like most other dramas.
-Love triangle never really develops and gets in the way of the main couple.
-Amazing kissing! Not just the lip touches like every other drama I've seen. Real, in love kisses.
