Story - So you must have read the plot already but it does not give much detail so I will tell you a bit more. A student enters a virtual game after his girlfriend goes missing into the same game, in order to find her he has to find out more about the organisation and therefore complete multiple games which mainly tests the mental ability to solve challenges but also physical strength in some of them. This was personally the best part of the show for me, the challenges as they were complicated but it was interesting how they found ways to solve it and there was always something that was unexpected. Obviously the show doesn't only focus on that and does explore friendship as well and trust in each other. However I did not give the story a 10 because it was an open ending and that was the only thing that made it disappointing but don't worry it doesn't affect the storyline in any way like it doesn't make you hate the show in any way, at least not for me it just felt slightly incomplete. This was also the reason why my overall score was not higher than a 9 as there could have been more it was a bit off a cliffhanger I guess and they did not answer all the questions about the virtual world, but who knows there might be a season 2.
Cast - I loved the cast especially the main character, who was amazing and his friend and all the people that the guy met in the challenges were really good.
Rewatch Value - This is difficult for me to say as even though it was good maybe not a rewatch maybe just the challenges but I wouldn't watch the other scenes as you already know what happens. To be honest you already know what happens in each challenge so there is kind of no point of watching it again but you could watch the scenes of some of the characters.
Overall - It was a good show there were incomplete parts to the story however it was a good watch and it definitely deserves a chance as t won't disapoint.
PLOTHOLES AND DRAGGY
The games were fun but almost a waste of time and some bunch of nonsense. It's not brilliant. It could've be simple but meaningful with strong logic but it failed to impress me.They mentioned time and space but didn't even went deeper and uncover the truth about Die Now (Die Now have no motive and it's a BIG turnoff). Such a cliffhanger and still makes no sense.
About the last game was so draggy. How did it became a victory? So it needs the player a savior? LMAO I don't understand that part. The plot just adjust for the main character and no solid logic.
And how did Qing Zhi know about Xu Xiang though when she was unconscious the whole time.
Half of the series are pointless plus I don't like the ending.
