Radio Romance Episode 4 Reazioni
1) PD-nim’s drinking restaurant drinking scene’s “temper testing” poking and over-night trip bomb was so difficult to digest for our male lead that too mixed with “same-glass drinking” jealously and usage of some potentially misleading words between PD and Maknae. (Although a grown man working in film industry getting jealous over such minor things hmmm…I guess it’s because she is his teenage dream..ahem.. sorry, not a Katy Perry fan though)
2) OMO !! A childhood trauma angle too…let’s see so far we got - a messed up rich family, an illegitimate child angle, a teenage crush connection, a love triangle in making, a brooding male lead who is not big on emotions until a bright spunky female lead walks in…hmmm all the makings of a public-hit rom-com Kdrama.
But who was that guy, can we please fast forward childhood back-story a bit please…they are my favourite, I am really curious here !!
3) The typical rom-com retreat scene where circumstances lead the main couple to separate from the group, stay together overnight, talk about things they love, grow closer…never happens during outings with our crush so might as well look at them and be happy. :P
4) Well, what’s a Rom-Com male lead who doesn’t go hot and cold (I swear I am not doing these Katy Perry references on purpose) by pulling a deplorably cruel stunt and screw up the first major break through event for female lead right?! (which in turn makes Second-lead become her support system) Can’t say I didn’t see that one coming…(umm…dear writers, can we just a have a little less predictable scenarios? Chaebal ?!)
Also, for a super celebrity with packed schedule during entire year he sure has a lot of time to sit and wait outside the radio station for her :P
5) His Doctor-Friend is awesome and so far my favourite character in the show, he is so dramatic, quirky and animated in his actions and way of talking, but at the same time he is genuinely concerned for his friend and looking out to help him. (Not to forget how he almost counted himself among girls and went towards girl’s room for a second XD)
6) Ji Soo Ho was every introvert ever on a forced group trip, sandwiched between overexcited people with no respect to personal space and wishes whatsoever :P
His hesitation with the scarf was cute through (Finally a male lead after a long time who hesitated more over small things more rather than during crucial emotional scenes…but same old evil mothers and scheming second lead females *sigh*)
7) Can employees in Korea really leave their work and designated place and crowd lobbies and corridors to fangirl and fawn over celebrities when they visit their workplace like they show in dramas, if yes, then I don’t know about Ji Soo but half of us would like to volunteer to work at Korean Radio Stations !! XD
Since they were watching BBC Sherlock in the show (Fellow Sherlockians here gimme a shout-out !!)
IT’S DEDUCTION TIME !! - So going by the Drama clichés that they are following so far here is my theory on his dead friend, Ji Soo and his friend both had a crush on Geu Rim, maybe she liked his friend (or so he thought or misunderstood), got mad at his friend, to talk it out his friend tried to meet him and then got in an accident, Ji Soo felt guilty over the whole childish behaviour and partially irritated towards Geu Rim (Which has come out everytime he has met her over the past…)
Well if this theory is write or not only time and upcoming episodes would tell, so I will be here to see how that progress goes, hopefully you guys have better theories than mine and if so, please share as many as possible so that I could read them as I wait an entire week for next episode. Until next week…
