Mop Girl (2007)

You would think that I'm exaggerating the scores or just simply click 10 points for everything by coincidence but no!
This is a really great series. It reminds me of Tru Calling but in Japanese style with lots of jokes. We get to know new people and stories in every episodes. The first episode is a bit boring but don't trust it just give a try to the second one! :D I promise you won't be disappointed.
Keiko and Shosuke makes a great pairing in this drama who tries to solve cases because of Keiko's visions. They're joking around everytime. I laughed a lot.
This is an awesome series about crimes, investigations flavored with humour.

This drama very much fits the usual standard for Japanese dramas; a series of events, usually with a pattern, and an underlying storyline.
SPECIAL NOTE: I cried in 3 episodes. In a 10 Episode drama. Usually, the only dramas that get me crying are the epic 25 episode long ones- and even then, they have to have POSITIVELY HEART-SHATTERINGLY SAD ENDINGS. Or no tears are shed. In this way, this drama is impressive.

Story- It had a very good idea for the story, but I don't know if I agreed with how it was executed. There were definitely some loose ends I would like tied up, and the ending wasn't satisfactory.

Cast- I thoroughly enjoyed the cast, I think they all did very well. :) The lady that plays Momoko is a very good actress; I'm currently watching her in another drama and she plays the polar opposite character of Momoko, to the extent that I can barely believe it's her.

Music- I actually remember a lot of the music from this one, which is a little bit of a surprise (in a good way). It was really quirky and it always fit with the scene. Sometimes funny, sometimes sad, and sometimes tense. The intro song is beautiful as well.

I wouldn't watch this drama again any time soon, although I enjoyed it. It simply isn't a drama made for rewatching is all.

Overall, it's a little bit of a frivolous drama, very funny (I legitimately lol'ed several times) and heart touching. Don't watch it if you're looking for romance, a completely sensical and complete storyline, or a particularly unpredictable or serious drama.

I really love this drama... I am not a person that would give full marks in any drama but this drama is really amazing... Right from the storyline to the performances of the actors it is spot on...I really like how all the stories of different people that they help coincide with the main story... If you haven't watched this drama yet I advise you to watch it now because it's really amazing.

Kitagawa Keiko has really impeccable acting skills, she has a way of portraying the main lead that captivates the viewers and get's them wanting to watch more until they finish the whole drama..

This show may be one of the most amazing, underrated drams I have ever seen! A million different emotions packed into the entire show, each episode made me laugh and cry; so much was packed within this show that it could have possibly filled one or two more episodes!

I wanted to watch this show mostly because of Tanihara Shosuke, something about his voice and the way he carries himself as he pours his full talent and unique skills into each role makes me attracted to his work. It actually took me until the second episode to realize it was Kitagawa Keiko and look into the rest of the cast; I was really excited that she and Sato Jiro were in this show as well!

Each episode was so different and unique to many of the other detective/crime/mystery/suspense/thriller dramas and movies I have seen before. The entirety of this show is something very genuine and relatable, not to mention something I've never seen before that had me mesmerized from the first episode!

This show balances out hilarity and serious pretty well, and each episode seemed to teach a lesson or moral which isn't something you get within American television/movies (which is why I prefer Japanese and South Korean shows; they actually mean something!)

The ending was not something I was expecting, but it was definitely interesting and made me wish for more episodes of this amazing show!

Все мы видели Tru calling, вот здесь то же самое. Ггероиня получает шанс все исправить, а потом начинает свою "миссию", бежит долго и со вкусом. Но в этом сериале больше юмора, разных комедий положений и кривляющихся мордашек. Особенно старается Гг - Китагава Кейко. Я ее вижу здесь впервые и она такая забавная. Как всегда не просто хороши, а прекрасны второстепенные персонажи: подружка, добрый директор, сотрудники бюро, простоватый младший инспектор с супер-помощницей, различные гэсты на серию.
Главный герой тоже хорош, в своим большим "тараканом" - любви к иностранкам, полиглот он видите ли.. Кейко и пользуется этим напропалую.

Okay first of all, this drama has a simple premise and concept. as written on the headline you can guess what's gonna happen with the story. But is it just simple as that? Of course no, it will be boring isn't it? so what are the best thing this drama can do to upgrade that premise?

1. Story: This drama is about helping people in every episode, so it will be boring if the story is just simple as that, that's why they bring "Comedy". What type of comedy? just simple comedy as another drama bring, not too exaggerating and not too weak, they just bring consistent comedy. And that makes me want to watch this drama a lot. Next, the story itself in every episode has its characteristic. For first 4 episodes it really boring, but when it comes to another episode they always bring "Plot Twist" at the end, it makes this drama a little bit funnier, either the comedy or the story itself.

2. Acting and Cast
I would say that the chemistry between the main role "Momoko and Shotaro" is the strongest chemistry while the other isn't that good, i just enjoy their chemistry and their acting, the funny part, the sad part and the happy part they can bring it amazing.

Overall it is not very good drama or very bad drama, they good at comedy but not that good with the story, still enjoyable? of course yes.
