Mary Stayed Out All Night Episode 15 Reazioni
the way he got so mad, his face really scares the hell out of me LOL. he literally looked like someone who can 'kill' a person out of jealousy when he's mad angry.
later on we get the scene of how he pushed her away despite knowing Mary waited for him all day to celebrate the Christmas and his birthday together. understandably in that situation, all party mode is off right away LOL.
and then we got another scene when Moo Gyul was playing the electric guitar like crazy, and then Jung In came to take off the electrical cord because he didn't show up for a schedule. and then Jung In gave him the ultimatum that if continues to break his promises (work schedule), then he can't give Mary away to him.
anyhow, there was a company workshop that Mary joined in with her colleagues. Jung In followed Mary to the forest and then they got lost together tryna find their way back to their nest. Seo Jun called Moo Gyul to let him know about it and he rushed over to find Mary.
true enough he found both of them luckily. Jung In got unconscious because he fell down from protecting Mary who was about to slip off, and has remained unconscious in the hospital for days. Mary didn't leave the side of his hospital bed knowing he got injured because he was tryna save her.
Moo Gyul kept observing this from the side and the way he was totally abandoned by Mary for Jung In really started to hurt him deeper and deeper. finally he went to the hospital to tell her that what she has done is enough, and now she needs to choose already whether it's between him or Jung In.
she asked for his understanding to let her stay by Jung In's side until he wakes up but Moo Gyul refused. so Mary couldn't answer him anymore and Moo Gyul took it as an answer that she now chooses the other guy. phew~

honestly, this episode really pains me. i have a huge bias for Kang Moo Gyul from the start simply because it's Jang Keun Suk who plays him. i am not sure if i'd feel the same if it's played by someone else.
what interest me about this episode was how Moo Gyul was portrayed as a very visual person. he literally can't shake off the image of Jung In back-hugging Mary and how she stayed still (permission) and that tortured him like crazy. when he confronted her about it, he said that "i am not sure anymore. i feel like the Mary i know is very different to the woman i saw today who felt like a stranger". the way he says it is just so heartbreaking. it's his truth and it's perfectly okay for him to feel that, the way it hurt him was mad serious and definitely hinted that Mary needs to be at a very serious juncture to try and convince him again, or maybe only time will tell.
from the get-go Moo Gyul has always been the one with 'lower hands'. the girl he is in a relationship is legally married to another guy because of her father, and the only response he's received from the father are disapprovals time and again. so it's obviously right for him to be extra sensitive about any little signs showing that Mary's heart is swaying to the other direction.
also, one can also say that Moo Gyul did something similar when he stood still and letting Seo Jun kissed him on the lips for a goodbye, by which Mary happened to see. but here the difference is that the way it ticks them off are different.
we only saw a scene when Mary got super upset after seeing 'intimate photos' of Seo Jun and Moo Gyul at her house, and not about the goodbye kiss itself so we can say that she tolerate another person's skinship on her partner a lot better than Moo Gyul ever could.
Moo Gyul comes across as really obsessive-possessive in this episode (not that he hasn't) but we can see how much that really hurts him. honestly i pity Moo Gyul a lot and though it may sound sexist, his reaction to this especially as a man is totally understandable for me, given his situation.
gahh, Moo Gyul. seeing you get all sad literally broke me. :(
