It's based on it, so the plot is really similar and I guess you will like both. If you like them - you should also try the TV series (Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu), and the K-movie (My girl and I).
It's based on a J-movie/drama, but I guess this K-movie is even closer to the C-drama. If you like the Chinese "Crying out in love" you should also try the original Japanese movie + drama ("Crying out Love, in the center of the world", "Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu") and this Korean movie ("My girl and I"). s really similar and I guess you will like both.
