Man to Man (2017)

Le duo improbable d'un espion et d'un acteur de film d'action = une bromance !

Le drama commence sur les chapeaux de roue, puis ensuite il y a des hauts et des bas, mais dans l'ensemble ça se tient jusqu'au bout sans trop de mal, et même plutôt agréablement !!
J'ai eu peur à un moment de voir l'héroïne entrer dans le personnage de l'idiote qui pour aider le héros fait n'importe quoi et le met au bord de la catastrophe au lieu de se tenir juste tranquille et le laisser faire son boulot, mais non, l'écueil a été dépassé et l'héroïne reste tout à fait sympathique jusqu'au bout !
J'ai beaucoup aimé l'acteur célèbre, qui apporte une touche d'humour par son côté mégalo, qui cache en fait un grand cœur. Mais pour le héros, je trouve quand même que Park Hae Jin est vraiment trop marmoréen et qu'il ne passe pas grand chose dans ses expressions, ou plutôt l'absence de celles-ci ! Je n'ai pu m'empêcher de penser à "Healer" (même principe de héros sombre et mystérieux pas trop regardant sur la morale) et me souvenir avec émotion de tout ce que Ji Chang Wok fait passer, lui, dans un regard et un quart de sourire ! Il faudrait que je voie Park Jae In dans autre chose (et pas CITT où là aussi il ne laisse pas passer grand chose derrière son horrible coiffure)pour me faire une autre idée de lui ! (vu depuis dans « My love from the stars » et « Doctor Stranger » et il m’a beaucoup plus plu !! Et j’adore son grand nez qui n’a pas été refait ! )


Au niveau OST on n'échappe pas à la hurleuse de service qui entre en action systématiquement à chaque scène demandant un peu d'intimité et de sentiments... Mais ce n'est pas trop souvent !

Autrement il y a foule de visages connus et reconnus dont celui-ci :

Jang Hyun Sung, que je n'arrête pas de croiser et recroiser en ce moment (Signal, WYAS, Man to man, Woman in a suitcase, ) et je dois dire qu'il est toujours excellent, dans l'ordure de service (Signal ) ou le héros vertueux (While you are sleeping...) il méritait une mention !

Au total, c'est un bon drama, qui se regarde avec plaisir, mais pas dans mon top 10 pour autant !

This is one of my favorite comedy action series ever. This is a heartfelt, emotional, and hilarious series. i liked the bromance but the most i liked is the romance with the female lead. One of the best aspects of this romantic comedy is the cast. Park hae jin is great as the lead but kim min jung was totally amazing here. she was super funny and showed a layer of sadness to her character. Her acting is phenomenal and it is very funny, charming and lovely. Park sung woong and the rest of the cast was great. all OST was so beautiful and fantastic. totally enjoyable Definitely recommend it. FYI, it hurts to say but the only one who is totally annoying here are those pitiful ugly people saying do ha's character was annoying, Forgive me for saying that they are really ignorant, talking nonsense makes them really pitifully ignorant. For the sake of viewers haven't watch it the series, don't trust any negative review about the series from those trashy ugly liar co'z they are not in the right mind. I'm sorry if you don't like my honesty. But to be fair i don't like your lies.

Park Hae Jin! Unexpectedly Good for a First Timer like me

This was the first show of Park Hae Jin I've watched and his acting was basically what made this show to my like. His serious expressions transforming with his excellent comedic timing turned many scenes into pure hilariousness. I enjoyed some of them so much that I've been going back and rewatching for the last two days.
I also liked the bromance a lot. I like how the Hallyu star Hyung didnt take this tough secret agent very seriously and vice versa. It was a lot of fun.
It felt like main actress and main actor werent in tune in the beginning tbh and I still cant say they were great together, but I appreciated the casting nevertheless. They looked real, I liked their relationship and I like how unexpected this kind of romantic relationship between these two people both for the viewers and characters as well.
I feel like Man to Man is very underappreciated. It truly gave me DoTS feelings. I'll be watching rest of PHJ's work in no time and will be looking forward to his future projects.

Quelques bonnes soirées en perspective

J'ai passé un très bon moment et ai beaucoup ri, grâce aux deux acteurs principaux. L'enquête est assez bien menée, les rebondissements arrivent au bon moment. On alterne rire et action.

Les acteurs secondaires sont tous excellents d'autant que leurs personnages ne sont pas binaires. J'ai découvert quelques noms à suivre

L'actrice principale est rapidement insupportable. Son personnage se comporte en petite fille gâtée/délaissée, on a envie de l'envoyer en thérapie. Cela aurait pu être joué avec subtilité mais Kim Min Jung n'est définitivement pas au niveau des rôles qu'on lui confie.

Au final, heureuse d'avoir suivi ce drama, je le recommande à qui a envie de passer un bon moment de détente.

Brief: I thought this one was quite light hearted fun, enjoyed it all the way through but thought the ending was cut short, it's like they set up the perfect ending and then don't actually *do* it. Great action scenes. Didn't 100% feel the romance between the two leads but it definitely had its moments.

Detail:
This is a fun spy drama, Park Hae Jin is good as always and he's supported by a strong cast as well throughout. Park Sung-Woong plays the comedic element fantastically well. Good to see another drama with Chae Jung-Ahn as well, having seen her in only a couple of dramas so far such as Suits, it was fun trying to figure her character out.

The story has a number of twists and turns, nothing too earth shattering - good enough it's a change in gear for the story, but not so earth shattering that it ruins future re-watches, I think i'd enjoy a second watch nearly as much as the first even knowing all the twists.

For me the last few minutes are where the drama forgets to put a nice full stop on its ending - the *story* is ended, everything concluded in whatever way it concludes - but I just didn't get the closure I wanted for the main characters at the end, made even worse because they appeared to actually be setting it up for a nice final scene and then just didn't!

Music - nothing earth shattering but a couple of tracks stood out and I found myself humming them to myself while not watching the drama so not bad either :)

Worth a watch imho!

This could have been oh so much better

By now, we've seen so many FBI/CIA/NIS/Spy/Ghost movies and series that it's really hard to take this Drama seriously.

They completely missed the mark here. It could have been so great if Everyone was completely oblivious that K was an agent (a ghost at that) and we (the viewers) were the only ones in-on-it... but no... Everyone and their mother in this drama knows NIS agents, ghost agents that are supposed to be "Secret" agents.

If this is fake then it's hard to sit through and believe the rest. The beginning had something, but it's all downhill from there and the ending isn't great either.

I should have dropped this by the middle (ep 7~8 ish) but like a fool I stuck to it only to be disappointed and regret having pushed through to the end. Oh well, win some and lose some.

I was so impressed with Man to Man Series. If you're looking for an extremely entertaining series with some action scene, lots of humor with cutest romantic scene that you would really love so much, then this is your series. Don't think too much. Watch this series and enjoy it for what it is. I gave this series such a high mark because it made me laugh so hard. It does have an intricate plot-line, it is unpredictable and has great lines. Their bromance also have great chemistry together, it makes a lot of sense. Perfect dosage of humor and action. The action scenes were crazy and really intense whilst the relationship between Ghost K and Ungwang's is to die from laughter. It was really good, I loved it. Then about the female lead, her acting was superb in every way. Romance between Cha do ha and Kim seol woo was highly romantic and I found them to be hilarious too and delivers on laughs consistently throughout the series. So far, they are the funniest and romantic couple ever. Very enjoyable as the romance between leads is so cute. Totally different storyline of this drama will charm you. Clearly, the people who did not like this series do not have well-developed senses of humor, in short they are utterly boring as hell or foolish people. let me tell you I adored this series I laughed long and hard, the series is very special, I loved every minute of it's crazy hilarious humor I personally was so happy with the series I'd watch it again believe me it's well worth it. Seriously Exceeded all my expectations!

This is was a slow watch for me... this is a like "Mission Impossible" drama but with subtle hint of comedy. It was borderline hitting the "what?!" - because it portrayed the mission serious and then the comedy kicks in and it is like -- what kind of drama is this and somehow it does not really mix and did not blend well. The acting of Park Hae Jin and Park Sung Woong was great, I think this is more of a plot issue. They wanted to make the serious agent have a comedian side which did not really blended well (not because of the acting) more of what are they trying to present in the drama.
What made it harder to watch is the leading lady Kim Min Jung - there is just something about her that is annoying like Choi Kang Hee (that's why I could not finish the Queen of Mystery). This is just a matter of personal preference.
