Palace: The Lock Heart Jade (2011)

This recommendation is already made by someone else, but I want to do it again. Reason? I just liked, loved, adored 'Startling By Each Step'.

So when I heard about 'Palace' I actually DIDN'T want to watch it. I was afraid it would be the exact same story over again, but then with a little less quality.

But then I decided to just give it a change. And I'm so glad I did! Palace is not a lesser copy. It is a story that stands on its own. 'Startling' was amazing, but Palace was satisfying in its own way. It wasn't as depressing and I loved the ending. The costumes where better too. So yes, even when you have seen one of these, I think it is definitely worth it to watch the other too.

the relationship and the story between the main leads is similar.

Both have a time travel to Qing dynasty. In Palace it's happens by an accident, in Dreaming... (according to the synopsis) the girl has her own abilities.
In both she get's a love interest in one of the Qing princes.

- In Palace: The Lock Heart Jade the lead actress who goes back time while in The Myth the one who goes back time is the lead actor

arggghhh.... . just watch and enjoy. I recommend this kind of dramas you gonna like it.

Both dramas are under Qing Dynasty. Two princes fight for the crown and the female leads.
Both female leads are beautiful and naughty and these dramas focus on romance.

- Time travel and comedy and romance dramas
- The male lead heads over heels the female lead first.
- While Palace Lock Heart Jade is long drama, Splash Splash love is short drama.

If your a fan of or loved Feng William in Palace then Prince of Lanling is for you.

Another historical (feel) drama with Feng WIlliam as the lead male.

Time traveling from modern times back into ancient times through into a palace girl's body with princes' falling for her.

Time traveling from modern times back into ancient times into a palace girl's body with princes' falling for her.

After an accident, the soul of a 21 century woman traveling back into another time/paralele universe into the body of a dying woman.

Both characters travel back though time.

Both dramas are set at the time of the Nine Lords' War.
Both dramas show the princes' endless scheming against each other to secure their position/reputation as a worthy crown prince/emperor to their father.
The female leads in both dramas eventually gets involved with politics and the princes - though with which prince differed between the two.
Both showcased aspects of arranged marriages, as well as marriage alliance.

Can't believe none put this drama into recomendations yet! :O
It's almost same story just with different ending ;)
