Jumping Girl (2015)

I just finished watching the show, and i'm sad to see a lot of people didn't like it because they didn't like the acting. I do agree that there was some cringy moments within the show but I honestly truly feel it was deliberately wrote that way. From research it appears that this show was based off of a manga or web comic, so in my opinion if their was any criticism at all shouldn't it be placed on the original format? As of my opinion I think that all of the actors that were in this show are great actors and actresses overall, but if the company that's making the film calls the (cinematography) shots and the writers finalized what the script would be I don't think we should blame the actors because that's what they were literally told to do, but instead blame the entirety of how the project was made.

I didn't really find any fault in this show at all but I can see why people wouldn't like it. I'm grateful at least that a lot of the people that were in this show were some of my favorites (idols as well).

I would DEFINITELY recommend this to a friend. This show gave me a whole indie vibe, so if your not into that then I advise you turn away. Again any cringy scenes I honestly believe was put there purposely. The whole story itself is a little goofy but with a kind of darker twist. I wouldn't go as far as call it a Dark Comedy, but it definitely tried to stay true to the goofy, silly, and awkward type of jokes while also trying to maintain the seriousness of the story. At the end of the day, all the episodes are rather quick, give it a try i'm pretty sure depending on your tolerance to dare I say "Corniness" you'd be glad you watched it. I'm a huge sucker for cliches and corny stuff because it makes everything more adorable, at least in my opinion. If you are too then you'll LOVE this show.

Watchable

Look, for a short drama it was on par with the standard that all the others have i.e. relatively unknown cast, average acting, basic storyline and rushed ending. The story had a lot of potential to talk about how much pressure these idols go through in order to date because of how crazy their fans react to the news, but it was kinda wasted. They did try to show this but I don't like the way it was executed.

The thing that kept me watching was the ships. I really loved both romances. Overall, I didn't hate it or love it, but I will rewatch from time to time for the cute ships and development of their relationships.

Jumping Girl é baseado em um webtoon homônimo sobre uma garota que após prestar serviços de segurança para um idol, acaba com má fama por ter pulado em cima do astro mais queridinho do país. E acompanhamos a coitada da Sang Ah se escondendo o tempo todo para não ser reconhecida, e se fosse só isso, já estaria bom; mas a pobrezinha ainda perde o emprego, a liberdade e não pode ir para canto nenhum.

E esse é um dos primeiros pontos negativos do drama, pois eu achava que seria engraçado, mas não tem nada de divertido em um começo triste assim. É bem baixo astral, mas é bastante crível para a realidade sul coreana, já que as fãs lá são super loucas. Então acredito que muitos devem ter gostado.

Infelizmente essa não vai ser uma resenha tão positiva assim, porque o drama não foi tão bom na minha humilde opinião. Primeiro vamos falar do tal astro que nem deveria ser famoso. Se existe uma pessoa apagada, sem graça e antipático é o Seo Ah Shin. Que idol bosta! Eu teria caído em cima dele e dado uns bons tapas para ele acordar pra vida e tratar bem as pessoas.

Outro ponto negativo é a Lee Yenny, caracterizada de amiga bosta. Coitada da Sang Ah, não nasceu com sorte. Porque para ter uma amiga ciumenta, que diz que vai ajudar, mas na hora H foge da raia, é ser muito azarenta. E a amiga ainda acaba indo trabalhar para o tal idol antipático e acabam juntos. Bem do tipo: se merecem!

A única coisa boa desse drama todo é o Ga Eul. E eu teria apagado todo esse enredo flop e teria feito um romance de amigos que se apaixonam, pois a queda gigantesca que o Ga Eun tem pela Sang Ah é muito linda e fofinha. Durante os 45 minutos de cada um dos 3 episódios que compõe esse drama tem vários flashbacks que vai ser impossível não se apaixonar.

E graças a Deus tem um final feliz. Demora um pouco para rolar, mas tem. Ufa, que alívio! Porque seria triste falar de só coisas ruins sobre esse drama. Não comecei 2019 tão bem no quesito doramas, mas por ser rapidinho nem vou ficar tão triste. São raros os minidramas com enredos que realmente valem a pena.
