Tsuki ni Iku Fune (2014)

I'm seriously considering using this, from now on, as a quick way to answer the question "Why do you like Japanese drama so much?" Why? Well, Watch this and you'll know! What more can I say? Sheer perfection, seriously! An end-of-summer tale, set in a beautiful scenery and featuring such a poetic story - and such a superb performance by the always amazing Wakui Emi! At the end of the movie, the viewer is left with a bittersweet, nostalgic, oh-so-japanese feeling, one of painful yet heartwarming longing...as far as I'm concerned, this is a little M-A-S-T-E-R-P-I-E-C-E!!!
