The romance here is so good, and so strong, I could overlook a lot . . .

Byeon Woo-seok as Ryu Sun-jae steals the show as the ideal traditional romantic male. Putting our main character's safety above his own, being strong, handsome, and famous while still earnest, honest and sentimental. Kim Hye-yoon as Im Sol has great chemistry with him, but her character and acting is a bit one note on its own.

This drama will go down as one of my all time favorite romances, but unfortunately not one of my favorite shows overall. The premise of a 'groundhogs day' is somewhat unique to start, but there's a lot here rehashed from the K-Drama plot bin including serial killers, slapstick comedy about working class people, etc. as the scenario repeats, and repeats, and repeats it starts to wear thin.

BUT YET! I could watch Ryu Sun-Jae being in love with Im Sol for 50 episodes if need be, that's how good the romance is here. It's worth a watch despite the flaws. Music is strong and there's some scenes worth a rewatch.

laugh loudly

the story of the drama feels a little out of time, but GuChiJun is so cute that he is seriously playing a comedy. At the beginning of the drama, He tried to get his ex-girlfriend back by showing a video of himself. This video shows the awards he has won and his impressive body. It left me speechless along with his ex-girlfriend. It makes me so many laugh. XuZhen is cute, too. She is a kind girl and makes people feel warm. I'm looking forward to what happens next. There's only one episode a day, What a pity!

The Longest Promise - great storyline, acting, CGI...

I have finished 6 episodes of its 40 episodes and so glad it has 40 episodes because I can't get enough of it. Since The Longest Promise is a xianxia genre, there will be lots of CGI. So far, it has not disappoint. It's realistically done and not exaggerated. As for the acting, the cast is doing a fabulous job, especially Xiao Zhan who portrays Shi Ying. His acting is impeccable, and I appreciate that he's using his own voice! The costumes look exquisite, heavenly, and luxurious with their details. The story flows at a nice pace. Like I said, I can't get enough of this drama. Looking forward to each day of its airing.

A series to sink our fangs and leave us bloodless

Vampires have been a fascination in both film and television. These beings have flooded literature and horror films and series, given the mystery and fascination that the public has felt for them. It is normal if we take into account that these mysterious and seductive subjects sleep in coffins, feed on the blood of their victims and cannot stand sunlight, among other attractive qualities for the public.
Film and television have also witnessed various versions of vampires who have developed a homosexual love relationship, such as the one between Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt giving life to Lestat and Louis, respectively, in 'Interview with the Vampire' (1994). ), by Neil Jordan, based in turn on the 'Vampire Chronicles' saga (1976-2014) by Anne Rice, in which various characters alternate with intense homoerotic content.
As a symbol of transgressive and predatory sexuality, homosexuality in vampirism has been used as a cinematographic resource. Already in 19th century literature, it was present to show the vampire as a metaphor for homosexuality where "the undead" is a creature that appears human but must hide its true nature to avoid rejection and persecution from the society that surrounds it. . Television series have contributed to reconfiguring the figure of the vampire.
As a type of literature aimed at a homosexual audience developed during the 20th century, the vampire lost its transgressive sexuality as part of its predatory nature, and homosexuality became just another feature of it, without a clear difference from the homosexuality.
Male vampire homosexuality appears directly reflected for the first time as a comic element in 'The Fearless Vampire Killers' (1967), by Roman Polanski, where the first gay vampire on film appears, the effeminate son of Count Von Krolock.
On television, vampire homosexuality has appeared very occasionally. The main vampire and gay-themed television series is 'The Lair', produced by here! in 2007, a work that is aimed mainly at a homosexual audience.
For its part, the Chilean horror and romance soap opera 'Conde Vrolok', written by Pablo Illanes and produced by Televisión Nacional de Chile in 2009, shows one of its characters, Úrsula Donoso, having lesbian relationships with several women in the plot. .
The American dark fantasy horror television series 'True Blood', produced and created by Allan Ball and based on 'The Southern Vampire Mysteries', a series of novels by Charlaine Harris, features vampiric lesbianism in the figures of vampires Pam de Beaufort and Sophie-Anne Leclerq.
Along with GMMTV's 'My Golden Blood', 'My God! Vampire, Very Good' and 'The Vampire Project', from Studio Wabi Sabi, '1000 Years Old' tells a vampire-themed story.
Something in common that the aforementioned titles have with each other is that their premise is to intrigue and entertain the public with strong doses of mystery and action with a mix of a captivating supernatural plot and a love story between boys.
The series, which makes no apologies for its queerness with enough content of a homosexual vampire loving a boy, gives off strong homoerotic vibes to please all fans of the genre.
The drama, which depicts a blossoming romance between a vampire who has lived for almost a thousand years and a human, marks the return of Nutchapol Cheevapanyaroj (Shane) in a BL, now as the main protagonist, after 'My Engineer' (2020). He is joined by promising rookie actor Kritsapatorn Napawiwattanaku (Opal), who makes his debut in a drama and does so in a genre in which he can show off his artistic talent: BL.
From the first episode it can be seen that the series has proposed giving a supernatural twist to the traditional BL genre, by exploring an unlikely relationship between a vampire and a human.
The tone of comedy is very positive as a key element to expose the story between moments of humor and others of romance, while the characters face the unique challenges that this dynamic brings.
In this supernatural romance, what will be Yo's reaction when he discovers the truth behind Pun's identity? Will someone try to interfere with their romance? Can love materialize? Will a vampire and a human be able to love each other? Will this love end beautifully and be timeless like the longevity of vampires?
Pun, a mysterious and cool young man, has lived a simple life as an ordinary person. Around him, people are born, grow old and die, and he remains with a face similar to that of a 25-year-old young man. He lives alone in an apartment and rarely goes outside, only to go to a store near his house where he buys pig's blood soup. This is also the favorite restaurant of Yo, a third-year student who also enjoys Pun's favorite dish. This is where the two protagonists will meet.
From the first meeting, both feel a strong connection after introducing themselves with their respective names. From that moment on, they will deepen the bond. Yo begins to know the truth behind Pun: he was actually not a normal human being, but a vampire who had been living in this world for over a thousand years. He will be struck by the fact that his new friend uses the pronoun "I" to refer to himself and calls others by "sir", which is unusual for teenagers these days.
Only I know Pun's well-kept secret, with whom he has begun to open up and trust him with even his own life. Pun did not want to reveal it to anyone else, fearful of what might happen to him if the truth were revealed. Now, why does Pun agree to tell Yo everything? As his feelings for his friend grow stronger, Pun will understand that he wants to grow a love relationship between the two.
Unlike other series about vampires, Champ Weerachit Thongjil's “monster” is the most human and sensitive monster that any viewer will ever encounter. Its creator has let romance arise freely and spontaneously between these two beings totally opposite to each other.
The series does not shy away from intimate moments, both emotional and physical, between our two protagonists.
With this new BL romantic comedy by Champ Weerachit Thongjil, the same director of '2gether The Series', 'Kiss Me Again: Pete-Kao' and 'I Will Knock You', a collaboration project is established between the production companies Feel Good Bangkok and Study H8.
Since the very announcement of '1000 Years Old', fans have been extremely happy for the BL series and are shouting their joy on social media. “The love between the two will be eternal”, “They are both happy” or “This vampire will sink his teeth into you and leave you without blood”, are some of the most striking comments.
Also starring are Mind Sathittha Sinsakhan (as Kaemsai), Looktan Phusanisa Faichaipakdee (Yam), Boy YourMOOD (Chin), Jo Ployukon Rojanakatanyu (Phakwan), Mae Warisara Asawapattanakul (Bowie), Poon Mitphakdee (Chalui), Boss Natthakit Sangwankitruechai (Somchai), Jomjam Kanpitcha Phongphanit (Chanja).

Disappointing

Season 2 is so disappointing. If you’re team Sun o, drop this drama rn. Could’ve been better honestly. After watching season 1 and getting spoiled by season 2, literally disappointed. I just noticed how bad the FL is. Cheated on her ex, dumping her boyfriend without even an explanation and starts dating her bf’s best friend. Hye yeong was hella weird too. Stalking Jojo, always watching her wherever she is, and walking behind her when they didn’t even interacted many times in season 1. They should’ve change the ending after seeings the fans loving Sun oh and Jojo together. Now they better expect bad reviews.

The atmosphere is definitely different!

I have never seen such a dating show yet. It started as a shaman or an exorcist movie. Cast members here are Shamans, Taro readers, Saju readers, and exorcists. They feel each other's energy and decide if they are compatible. Unlike other dating shows where everyone gets to know others slowly and doesn't rush into anything, here everything is chaotic. The cast is talking outright about who they like, what kind of people they would like to date, and so on. The tension keeps all the panelists and viewers on their toes. Also unlike the 2 or 3 week of living together like other dating shows, they have only a week. I have no idea how this will go.

Refreshing and Smart!

Boys Lockdown Series is a must watch series because it is one of the few Filipino Bl Series who incorporated and actually considered BL Representation in its casting. It is more valuable and fun to watch if you know that the characters who portray boys love are actually the ones who experience it. Kudos to the writers for refreshing and new plots that make the series interesting. Also, the cinematography and editing are on point. The whole production is light and very easy to take, well at leadt for now. I am also looking forward for the development of the characters. There are still a lot of things to watch out for and I am so excited for them. More power to the whole team and congratulations!

Was it worth the wait?

After watching until we meet again., win and team was by far my favourite couple of that series. I have been waiting patently since between us was announced years ago. And it's finally here, though only 2 episodes are out thus far.
I can confidently say, it was indeed worth the wait. I love how it still evolves parts of until we meet again and I'm enjoying seeing new characters and other relationships form. Very happy with how the episodes have gone so far and very keen to see the rest unfold.
I would at this point recommend this series.

Boring, not much to say

I watched this drama to give Ding YiYi another try. She was in Sweet Sweet with Zhao Yiqin one of my favourit actors....

He was just ok in that drama which surprised me as he usually gives excellent performances but when I compared Ding YiYi to his previous female leads I found she didn't really give good performance herself....

This drama, I gave it a go but the storyline is boring, acting is just ok & it's obvious these actors are not ballet dancers but I will say they did give good efforts.....

Like or dislike it, but it's something new. At last something new!

The story of the two mains is barely there in episode 1; highlights for episode 2 reveal a little and it seems that in this BL events move faster that it is usual. Whether it’ll develop into something really good – remains to be seen, but that’s not why I’m writing a review after watching just the first episode.

It’s the setting of the series that’s really interesting. You’re making a BL series? Let’s set it on … the set of a BL series! You know those “behind the scenes” specials that supposedly reveal how a series is produced? Forget about them; we’ll show you the real “behind the scenes”. In episode 1 it worked great – and it doesn’t matter if you take this part seriously or as parody. The whole casting part, with YouTubers showing up, with Kaownah and Turbo as a famous shipped couple forced to do fan service (and clearly tired of it), the comedic casting scene, the later meeting and discussing who’s really gay and what the producers of a TV series can support and what goes too far – all of that was well done, interesting and new. Even the first encounter of Gene and Nubsib was used to mock BL productions – when lights went out, spotlight hit the two mains and Nubsib began his over-the-top performance, Gene was almost shocked by the surrealism of this scene. BTW: all of that showed that the series has a lot of distance to itself and to the genre as such – which is a good thing. But where episode 1 shined for me was Aey’s bathroom scene. Unlike all the other scenes, which are comedic, the bathroom scene is played not for laughs, but completely straight. The cheerful music ends and the tone shifts to sober. Lack of dialogue and focus on Aey’s face only add to that. The hesitation, the frustration, the struggle to keep smiling even when he’s alone: thanks to that you can see cracks in a sycophantic, phony façade he forces himself to put on. Aey just might be truly relatable (unlike other characters): a lonely person trying to stay strong in a world were likes and comments on social media are how success is measured. The tonal contrast between this scene and the rest of the episode makes it stand out; I watched it 3 times before continuing with the rest of the episode. A little gem.

I cannot decide whether “Lovely Writer” is meant as a parody (as some have assumed), fiction, social commentary, criticism of BL’s or a blatant attempt to exploit BL fans by supposed criticism of what they love and uncovering fake secrets of the industry. I cannot decide and I’m fine with that – I’m writing this after watching episode 1 and it would be weird for me to know the above. Maybe later episodes will explain that – I don’t know. What I do know is that it was much more entertaining and interesting than any episode 1 of any BL series I’ve seen.

===================
"Awful prediction" after watching episode 2: Nubsib was coaxed into "becoming sexual" with Gene (possibly a package deal: Nubsib gets to star in the series based on Gene's first novel but has to get involved with him) by Gene's publisher to make Gene's next novel hot & steamy. Eventually Nubsib will fall for Gene, but the truth will get revealed - much to Gene's horror, creating the necessary BL drama. I'm rather dumb, slow and drawing conclusions isn't my forte, but I came up with that "awful prediction" after the last moments of episode 2 - I think it was Nubsib's voice saying he didn't want to open his eyes while kissing Gene, as he was afraid of breaking character. That was my clue and I concluded that Nubsib is playing a role, pretending to be interested in Gene.

===================
After watching episode 5: Aey has several times more backstory and stuff to work with than Gene. Aey's character might actually have some depth. The way the story of Gene and Nubsib is told, seems conventional (with something weird about Nubsib and things he's hiding), while the story of Aey is told in a different manner (and there's much more of a story to tell). Him and Mork? I'd vote for that!

The duality and acting

Let's break this down to a few categories.

Acting
I have watched enchante before this and I would say their acting has improved by quite a bit. I think Force's acting improved more significantly and I think his portrayal of this character is well done. For Book, he is also doing a great job at portraying his funny but morally wise and supportive character. As for the side characters, I would say they as well are portraying their roles well. But this is just the second episode.

Story
Although this type of office romance is kinda common, I would say this is executed well (it is different from the typical university students au). The story touches on some important concepts even within this BL community, like talking about top and bottom, mother and father when it is absolutely unnecessary. They can be whoever they like. Thye also bring up the topic of depression would I look forward to see this develop in later episodes. This is all done with comedy infused.

Ost
Book's voice is not that bad, but I would not say the ost is one of the best, but it is certainly good (I am in a choir and learn abt singing and what not).

Screenwriting
The dialogues for Cher's lines feel like they fit him completely, and this is the same with Gun. I would like to talk about the bbq scene. I feel like the dialogue of the friends when they first met him is a bit overexaggerated but I don't know whether it is intentional.

Miscellaneous
I would say that this pacing is not bad. Even though we get the first kiss in ep 2, which from other shows usually come at about ep 5-7, I would not say it is fast paced. They both agreed to have their first kiss and might even want to be a couple at this point.

Ending note
This show is a must-watch for BL fans. Overall, it is a 8.5/10 for me. It's more of a leisure show than a serious show so expect laughs. This is definitely worth a rewatch if it remains this performance.

Boring story

Not interesting to watch. Story writing is really boring. Wasting time. Just wanted to watch because FL and ML. But finally gave up on episode 20.

Acting: Acting and cast are good. FL and ML ask no more. Plus the Li Sheng and Chuchu are really good. FL make up is too much, a-fei looks old and exaggerated.

Story: no definite purpose. Cannot bring the audience into the story. Watching this felt so long. Talking too much. Many scenes are blurry, but suddenly casually joking in the middle. Criminals are also stupid, chasing prey when caught instead of saying nothing. really makes no sense

i am dropping this drama

i am dropping this Ice fantasy drama after watching 19 episode.. I feel it so boring to watch. For the last 5 episode i sparingly watching it, cant glue my eyes for this drama. the story should be good though, the type of drama story i like. May be the way they lay out the story...... So boring. The cast is full of good actress and actors but they don't playing full to the expectations i guess. I love drama with 50+ episode.. But for this drama ice fantasy if its only 38 episode , may be i will watching it with skip or fast forwarding sometimes, to end. But for 62 boring episodes, just wasting my time.
