The events are more detailed, even though there are some difference between the events of the two stories, I feel like you'll love the drama.

Secret Forest mirrors much of the work, themes and ideas of the power trilogy by Park Kyung Soo particularly Punch.

they both revolve around women who have someone thats literally identical to them and the dude ends up falling for the broke one thats supposed to have a kinder and better personality, and the rich one is some spoiled mean girl who thinks she's better then her own.

Both shows are from same time period, Both of them serious and tragic, If you like war and military shows try it.

The first few episodes of War of Faith were top notch, portrayed just like Dark Night And Dawn

Chicago Typewriter is absolute masterpiece,
but Dark Night And Dawn also doing well too.

Both are Republican Era mini dramas in which the FL is out for revenge against the ML who she wrongfully believes killed someone close to her. Both involve the FL stabbing the ML, losing/pretending to lose her mind, misunderstandings, and a hate/love relationship between the leads.

Both are mini dramas set in a world where merfolk are mistreated and/or hunted and involve a relationship between one of them and a human detective.

Both have a mermaid/merman as one of the leads and a human as the other. Both involve a merman captured by a powerful person/sect.

Both FLs disguise themselves as a man and investigate cases. Both MLs seem cold initially but melt around the FL, learn her secret, and protect her while solving the cases alongside her.

Both dramas are based upon the same story and follow the same plot, but one is a mini drama and the other full length.
