Both shows are about the fight for succession of the throne after a relatively stable time! They have incredible political twists and turns & no one is really who they appear to be. The chessboard is literally constantly changing with each event. While NiF is a longer palace drama and features slower & hidden political machinations for the throne, Queen Woo jampacks most of that fight in just 8 episodes.

Both are a gl series based on a Chao Planoy novel. Most importantly imo FreenBecky and LMSY both have the best chemistry I have seen so far. They both have characters who have known eachother since young and both series are somewhat of a slow burn romance. Both gap and affair have two women where one is of a higher social status then the other.
