In a world as colourful as Momoko's sweet-filled lunch box, the paths of these two incongruous girls cross one languid summer. Asses are kicked (and garments are embroidered). Iwahashi tries to be as supportive of the new changes as possible, even when he’s passed over as new boss, but when a pattern of corruption and assassination is slowly revealed he can no longer sit back and let it continue.


But when Onimasa takes a chivalrous attitude and finds himself on the side of train workers on strike, it annoys the Great Godfather of the island.

Both are dark stories with sex work as an important part of the story. They're also both stories featuring mlm protagonists that involve violence.

These are both gentle satire - but completely hilarious - series on the BL genre. There is a lot of observational internal-dialog which drives a less-subtle humor so they are easy to watch mindlessly. Also, the eye candy is delicious!

Both are dealing with the question of what is justice & equality in society, does a just cause justify violence or criminal action, and how to make the best out of life growing up in averse conditions. The leads need to learn to trust each other first and have a convincing connection with each other.

Both dramas seem different in many ways but have some similarities:
