Really loved this episode - it was slow-paced, peaceful, and funny. I also love seeing them cohabitate. My notes:- Duo calls him brother now my heartt- Omg yes please live together- Stare stare stare- 'Learn how to cook for the person I love'?? I'm delusional I know- Domestic scenes are my jam , I'm living rn
Didn't really like the possessiveness. Telling him whom he can and can't hang out with? Are you kidding me? Liked the rest tho, they are cute together. The friend was relatable lol
Segasaki keeps ruining his chances of me liking him every episode. He takes care of Yoh and I'm like okay, this is nice, maybe he is redeemable after all. But then he puts a tracking device on him the second he thinks he's lying? What the hell?
I want to punch Dr. Ter or whatever his name is so bad but what's new? Anyways this ep was painful and everyone was sad but the end pfdllsdfj they love each other so much
They are so domestic it's so hilarious that they're still doubting about whether they like each other. Maybe it's me and always intellectualizing my feelings but I cannot fathom being this oblivious about liking someone romantically. Truly mind-boggling
This was great. I like that we got to see the dad's perspective (even if it doesn't fully justify how absent he was during Jinwoo's childhood), and how Jinwoo was able to get some closure after talking to him. And BITCH. Jinwoo and Gi Seop?? They're gonna be the end of me. They're too cute
If they keep up this energy for the entire series I think I'll really like it. I find the main couple really cute, honestly, idk why some people are saying they're annoying. The last scene left me speechless lmao
I found the acting a little bit ridiculous at first (like when the guy is poking him and trying to tickle him) but ended up having a lot of fun watching this. The "I'll sweep you off your feet" premise seems promising
I'm younger than everyone in this series, so why do I feel like they're my kids lmao - they have to stop making me sad though, the tragic backstory was really well done
So, first off - why are the bullies shitting their pants every time Tae Myung is brought up?? He hasn't done anything except for breaking up fights and talking back so far. ----- Also, that other guy is third wheeling so hard it's kind of painful to watch, like have some dignity please
On the one hand, it's cute that Karan was doing all those little things to help make Achi's day better - that's perfectly respectful of his boundaries, and it shows that his love language might be acts of service. Which is adorable. -- On the other hand, I don't know if I believe Achi's feelings for him are romantic. Up until now, he's only seemed grateful for Karan's feelings and his help. He himself says that he doesn't know what being in love is like, so I'm afraid he might be confusing gratitude with love? Idk, it just didn't look that organic that he *suddenly* likes Karan romantically. The realisation that Karan had been helping him all along should have been more gradual, in my opinion. --- The chasing at the airport was so funny lol, it's such an overused trope but it works I guess. At least they're on the same page now.
So. Um. This was a little bit all over the place? -----First off, the problem I've been having this whole time: the school system is SO FRAGILE, like how are three students in tank tops any threat to the school's funds and reputation?? Hello? ----- And now with the main conflict of the ep: Thua exposing the shit out of everyone like the king he is. I mean, I agree with him. Even if he didn't do it willingly, Akk has been a pillar of the school's authoritarian regime, and has terrorized the students with the fake curse (he didn't fatally injure anyone out of sheer dumb luck). He upholds the status quo, except when it comes to his boyfriend, Ayan. From an outsider's perspective (Thua's), he comes off as extremely biased and hypocritical. Akk knows what he did is wrong but has yet to come out with the truth and apologize to the people he hurt and lied to. They kind of ruined Thua's character though, the Thua we've known so far wouldn't out his friends, even if they are acting the wrong way. They needed drama and butchered the only sane character in the entire show. Like, what do you mean he also took part in the curse?? Wtf? Why did they feel the need to make him into the bad guy? His criticisms would've been valid if he wasn't doing the same shit Akk was doing!! I'm mad.
Ok so. I loved 80% of this episode, they are so cute as always. I have such a soft spot for Phojai, she's so supportive and resilient. I hope she gets her happy ending with Day's brother. ---- On the other hand, even if they were both in on the joke, Idk how I feel about Day constantly insinuating that he was going to fire Mhok if he tried anything. I know it was supposed to be lighthearted banter, but it showcased their power dynamic in a way that made me a little bit uneasy. ------- That ending was so convoluted omg - you mean to tell me his eyes just- gave up? On the spot?? The doctor said in the preview that his sight had deteriorated, but how did it happen so quickly?? - Also. ALSO. If in the end Mhok gives his eyes to Day and becomes blind or something I will personally fight Aof. I'm just saying.
The episode would be *fine* if it weren't for the weird costume scene towards the end. What the actual f*ck was that? It wasn't necessary at all?? They literally could've chosen ANY other outfit to cover up their faces (a ski mask, for example), but they went with the culturally insensitive bit with the music, the goofy acting and all. It was so out of pocket, it was not funny, and it's made the rating go down significantly. ----- I also wanted to comment on the weird fujoshi duo. They aren't funny either. I've never been a fan of these types of characters, who objectify and stalk the protagonists to the point of making them visibly uncomfortable. ----- Pi's brother's scenes are just... pure wtf-ery all the way through. Though, him arguing with the omniscient narrator for more screentime is hilarious. I love the fourth wall breaks. Other than that, Neo's overacting is... rather difficult to watch. Not his fault, I know. ----- Pi and Mork are... fine? Not much has happened, since Pi is still crushing on Mueang. We'll see where this goes.
