Moved to write my first review because this show made me angry
Watching episodes 1 through 6, I was impressed with the production values and character development -- less so with acting and makeup. Episode 7 was ridiculous and stirred a visceral response. These are two grown young adults. Men who (supposedly) have gone through so much pain in order to be together. We've skipped ahead in time (lazy trope) to jump right over their reconciliation and watch them enjoy a winter (?) beach vacation together. Two guys in their 20s. In love. Alone. And they are terrified of touching each other. Not only did that throw me out of the story completely, but it also made me feel used. Look up "queerbait" and there's A Shoulder to Cry On. I understand that the actors are from Omega X, and they're limited in what they can do. This show should have been made with different actors or, I'm sad to say, not made at all.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

So nice I watched it twice
I strongly recommend this show. If you're getting a little worn out by repetitive BLs and all the same old tropes, well, I can't say this breaks any molds. It does tell the story of two young men who learn more about each other and themselves as their emotions grow to the point they can no longer be ignored. The story is really well done, and I thought the actors did a great job within the traditional scope of a BL. Here's the bottom line: I cared what happened to them, and I didn't watch any of it at 2x speed. That's a real compliment. See if you like it too.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
