I had very high expectations before watching this drama. Felt like it was appropriate to watch a tear-jerker drama due to the ongoing things and problems in my life. The love story of Noh Eul and Joon Yeong was a beautiful construct that just shows how romance is difficult to pursue due to some circumstances, even though you can love a person so much. First, the story was very unique, however, I spoiled so many things for myself before fully watching this drama. Of course, there were plenty of Kdrama cliches and cheesy moments, however, it fit in well with the whole storyline of this show. I just wish the ending was more impactful for me, as I did not shed a single tear and was confused about how certain characters dealt with his death. As for the acting, this show was a good mixture of either very talented, or inexperienced actors. However, I did like that the OST had both, Suzy's and Kim Woo Bin's songs, in addition to the beautiful English soundtrack. Would I rewatch this? Probably not, as the drama in itself is 20 episodes long, too long for me to dig up all of the scenes that are worthy to watch again and again. Nevertheless, this show is a Hallyu classic and has a fair share of its special moments. So if you are a loyal Kdrama fan, this is a must-watch. Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

Slightly disappointed to be honest after all of the love that my fellow Kdrama bingers have given this drama. I was introduced to this by my friends, and based on the many positive reviews, I decided to give it a go. I felt like the series was all over the place: with many storylines, I feel like the directors and screenwriters had to think out of the box for this drama. Don't get me wrong, the story was nothing like I've ever seen before. The problem is that I didn't feel a strong connection with the characters or even the OST. I'm a fan of some of the actors and their other well-known dramas and movies, but I felt like they didn't live up to their characters. For example, the ghost, the chef and the shy girl love triangle was a bit awkward, not gonna lie. Plus, they didn't seem to have any chemistry at all. Overall, this drama didn't keep me watching on the edge of my seat. I think I'm being generous for giving it a 7, but the main storyline was a lot different than what I've seen in Kdrama world. So if you enjoy supernatural themes, a bit of thriller and rom-com, you'll definitely love this. Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

This was such a rollercoaster of a drama, with many ups and downs, offering an awesome thrill all the way. This series was in my "must-watch" list after much praising and positive feedback on it everywhere. I loved it, even though it had its flaws here and there. Now let's focus on the positive aspects. First, I loved the strong female lead. Not only her as a character, but how beautiful she is as well. Second, the story was very unique and nothing like I've ever seen before. Third, I enjoyed how quickly the chemistry and romance blossomed between the main leads. As lastly, and something that I look for in every drama, the OST was magically beautiful. No wonder it scored so high with the fans around the world! Now, the only thing that ruined this drama for me was how draggy everything became after the schizophrenia diagnosis. It went downhill after that for me. The female lead became weak, the male lead followed in her footsteps. Even though the illness was quite unexpected and a plot-twist for me, in addition, the brother committing a crime was a big plot hole too. If I took anything from this drama, is to look at mental illness from a different perspective. But I don't get why the drama is so hyped up, there are definitely drama that are more fascinating and gripping than this one. Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

Would I suggest watching this? Sure, if you were a fan of the originals. But if are intrigued by the abnormal storyline, definitely start from the manga and climb your way up to this movie.

Initially, I heard that this series is very intriguing, but not quite popular outside of Korea. I understand why: this drama depicts main social problems lingering around in Korea that we, as mostly westerners, might think of as a bit weird. Especially sexual assault and lack of leadership of being a woman. Miss Hammurabi - an eye-opening drama that lets you peek inside of the wonderful and tiring world of judges. The characters: unique, a small little family that you'd want to be a part of. Each character of the department has their own little story and problems. But I'm guessing my favorite characters were from Department 44, especially Oh Reum and Ba Reun - two completely different individuals who come to respect, love and rely on each other. There wasn't a lot of romance which is a bit of a bummer, but it didn't ruin the whole show watching experience. It had to be work and case-solving based and not romance. The highlights of this drama had to be and still are all of those little cases and the victims with their unique stories + the stunning cinematography and the ear-blessing OST.
Once again, this drama was really eye-opening and sweet. Maybe a bit too heavy to watch on a hot summer afternoon, I'd say watch it during fall when it's rainy outside to create the best vibe to watch Miss Hammurabi. It's something I'd re-watch myself too, maybe when the weather gets a bit chilly!
(Edit: the ending is very well though-out and quirky, love it so much)

I'm a fan of timeless stories like these, especially Itazura na Kiss, which, I think, inspired this drama series. But more than anything, this drama was even better than the original ISWAK story! You cannot state that A Love So Beautiful was an adaptation of the original manga, because it's not. However, the plot is very similar. Stories about high school sweethearts always warms my heart and makes me melt. In my opinion, the early 2000s setting, the characters and most importantly the lead couple - they were more likable than the original cast of any ISWAK adaptation. The thing that makes this drama so enjoyable to watch is the relationship between the main couple - Jiang Chen and Xiao Xi. They show signs of love and interest from the very beginning of the drama. Yes, the story and characters might seem childish and too good to be true at times, however, it's a feel-good type of story that doesn't need to be realistic or mature for you to love it. There are numerous scenes that make you press the stop button and replay the scene over and over again. You've got to give it to the brilliant acting as well, I might even start watching more Chinese dramas after seeing so many pretty and talented actors.
It's still very difficult for me to get over this drama. The episodes are too exciting and some scenes always make me want to squeal, so I'll definitely be rewatching this very soon! If you're still hesitant, whether to watch it or not, just do it! Your heart will flutter - that's guaranteed!
P.S. And gotta mention that last episode. The directors gave us complete fan service. Thank you it was just what we all needed!

I was sure that this was going to be in my favorites list. Absolutely positively. But based on what others said, personally, I didn't shed a single tear, nor was I heartbroken or shocked by this drama. The start of it was strong - suspense, romance building so fast since the very beginning. However, the story got quite draggy all of the sudden. Many things were repeated over and over again. I don't know, maybe it's the effect of watching a 20 episode drama, when you start craving something completely new. Nevertheless, I did find myself enjoying the whole flow, character development and the unique comedy amongst all of them. The storyline looks somewhat unrealistic at the first glance, but somehow, the directors made it work. Or was it the acting?
And most importantly when it comes to Kill Me Heal Me, I think everyone was drawn in by the characters, or the actors that actually played them. I won't be able to stress this enough, but Ji Song was fantastic in this! The way he played every one of his personalities show this actor's real talent and potential to be casted in literally any drama of any genre. Apart from the male actor, there was a lot of screaming from the female lead. Thank god that she settled down towards the end of the drama. Even Park Seo Joon, who is, by the way, my favorite actor of all time, was great in this as a side character. Totally deserves to the the nation's oppa!~
I noticed that everyone loved the main track called "Auditory Hallucination" from the OST. It's a great song, but they shouldn't have overplayed it in the drama. In addition, love the fact that the actors themselves participated in the recording of the songs for this series!
So that's just my tiny little opinion about the well-known and appreciated series Kill Me Heal Me. It would've been a favorite of mine as well, but it got super stretched out and repeated lots of things. However, I think the amazing acting makes up for the flaws! So go watch it and see for yourselves!

Well first of all, I didn't think that the story would be filled with a dark and mysterious theme behind the main plot. The start of the drama was a bit rough, but the story picked itself back up after a couple of episodes. The story was very unique, actually and quite enjoyable to say the least. If the directors manages to combine several completely different genres of drama and make it easy-to-watch, then personally, I consider the series worth my time. However, what I found a bit disturbing was how quickly some of the characters recovered from the shock of the events in the past. That's the part where I thought it's unrealistic.
Now, what I really LOVED were the characters. The main actors - I've been familiar of them in some of the other dramas. Their roles in Introverted Boss completely blew me away! One of the reasons why I started watching this drama was the actress Park Hye Soo. Her character in the drama Age of Youth was one of my favorites! She's so talented and precious, but I didn't enjoy her character in this drama. I guess she was just so annoying and talkative, but that's just her portrayal and once again, it shows how actors can easily switch roles from a timid person to a hyperactive human. Yeon Woo Jin, on the other hand, completely mesmerized me with his performance. The only character that I had in mind when thinking about this actor was this rich, stubborn plastic surgeon from Marriage, Not Dating. Hwan Ki, the male lead in this drama, was a shy cutie patootie! I could relate to his character so much and he was definitely the highlight of this drama! Not to forget Yoon Park as well - a recently discovered actor on my list, but super talented and diverse.
One thing that I've noticed in the drama was that songs were constantly being played like every 2 minutes, especially towards the end. I get it and admit it - the OST is beautiful, worth the listen, but sometimes it gets really annoying.
So, if you're a fan of office romance dramas, this is a unique one to watch. It's not perfect, but I think it teaches you a thing or too just like any other great drama.
Don't hesitate to watch this if you have plenty of time on your hands.

First off, it's not your typical historical Korean drama, no no. If you are tired of those "who gets the throne", "family feud" dramas about the Joseon era, this will definitely be unique and fresh. The story looks quite ordinary and familiar from the start, but it's so well written, that only 2 episodes are enough. On the other hand, I also though that the directors could've made this into a full length drama with the continuation of the story in modern days. I was familiar with the main cast from other dramas before. Kim Seul Gi will forever be one of the spunkiest, most genuine drama actresses. She brought this story vitality. Also, Yoon Doo Joon is quite a new actor that I've discovered, but I thought that he was perfect for the role. Supporting cast - all very talented, but they'd need a side story, maybe a spin off. Nevertheless, this is something that I'd rewatch again for the beautiful and unique story!
So if you ever find yourself on an urge to watch an interesting and short drama, please give this one a go. I'm sure that you won't be disappointed and that it will leave you wanting more!

The story is quite unique if you think about it. My only question is, how can the writers create a story that sounds so ridiculous and somehow manage to make it work fantastically? Honestly, the first couple of episodes were really hard to watch. I never take most of the dramas seriously, but this one seemed so childish and unrealistic to a point that I had thoughts of dropping it. But I'm so glad that I decided to stick around! It's a perfect length drama to enjoy during your free time. I'm a sucker for fluffy romance, and it only appeared during the last episodes which is a bit sad. Well, I think just like in any series, you should always expect the main couple to grow attached to each other slowly. The chemistry between the main actors - so cute! I was used to seeing Chae Soo Bin as a villain character, but she's totally amazing and inspirational to me after this drama! Her character shined so much. Not to mention Yoo Seung Ho, who's performance in this drama was a discovery for me! Such strong character development is also what I'm appreciative of. To add, the supporting cast was very lovable and sweet! The music added a sweet little touch like a cherry on top. I'm very pleased with some of the songs which are now in my playlist.
So overall, this is definitely a drama I'd rewatch and recommend to any fluffy romance junkies out there. Thank you all for encouraging me to watch it! Once again, I'm so glad that I decided to ignore the funky sounding story and to just watch it!
