I had started to wonder when the process of DW getting smarter would begin. Yes she has been brave and smart while at the pearl farm but she was reckless. I don’t think she really thought things through before she acted upon them. But she’s beginning to do so and I’m happy about that. The way she handled those two workers who beat her brother was amazing. And what she said to ZJR was true. He doesn’t know what people like them have been through since he was sheltered growing up. I get that he wants DW to be kind and whatnot but it’s a dog eat dog world and it’s best he learns that or leave our girl alone.

I can imagine how losing one’s family would mess with their emotions. Like the simplest thing could cause an eruption and that’s what we see happening to YZJ. He was told his sister was alive and the mere thought that the Yue girl was his sister caused his emotions to skyrocket. But if people were as smart as DW is getting, someone could have figured out that he’s a Yan survivor. He made his bed and now he has to lay in it so he needs to keep his emotions in check. Now isn’t the time to be reckless but I understand why he acted that way. In our mind, we might say he shouldn’t have acted that way but I don’t even know what I would have done if I was in his situation
