In 'Ice' they share a more overt homosexual relationship while in 'Road Movie' one of the men is inlove with the other one who is straight. Though they are troubled, both men rely on and need eachother. There is some explicit sexual content in both movies.

Both series feature school bullying. The script is eventually flipped on the bully however, making the hunter become the hunted.
Both films show a highschool girl who is pretty and popular and totally psycho! She is involved with gangs and treats people like playthings. School bullying is also involved.
