Chen Fang Tong and Dai Gao Zhang 's another captivating HIT

Chen Fang tong and dai Gao Zhang have extremely excellent chemistry ... They have worked together in numerous mini series and all of them were good ... And I think chen fang has put on some weight during the series and she looking stunning in her curves ... Dai Gao is of course forever handsome ... The plot revolves around a blind heiress who is surrounded by back stabbers ..her fiance is a big time fraud who is cheating with her friend behind her back and wants to take over her father's company by transferring her chunk of shares ... Meanwhile ML has some old time score to be settled with FL father and his group ...so he is approaching her with a sole motive of winning her trust into obtaining the evidence to support his father's case ... What I liked about the show is the gradual pace of the affection that slowly blossoms and builds into a beautiful love story ..how irrespective of all the grudges he still lives up to his principles and help her through the most panic situation .... Like the safety alarm pendant he gives her ... Seriously that was a beautiful gesture like once it beeps no matter what he will come this her rescue ..

For us in the real life people won't come to our rescue even when they claim to love us ..right ??? Love in real life is such a hard bet you are most likely to lose ... And there we see these dramas where he came to rescue his enemy's daughter....SO UNREAL

Stories and drama are more or less the same but still some hit differently ..this drama was a delight ...

One hundred percent worth watching ...

Absolutely no development in story

The story is stuck in the first half of season one ...there is absolutely no development further ... Chemistry between main leads is totally off ..guess they signed a no kiss agreement ...( For a couple in love living in a no Netflix era i can't believe they don't even share a couple of sweet kiss ... )

Plot is swiping into a more confusion created ng zone as nothing of sort is revealed ...

fL's acting is annoying she keeps making annoying noises ... Like her sound box just don't rests... Weird Sounds just keep leaking out her mouth ... Even though it's not her turn to say the dialogue .... Honestly her habit is so irritating..she spoiled the entire show just because of making those nonsensical voices ...
ML ''s sister character is pathetic and boring .. her suicide committing scene was so unnecessary... She is one of the very view characters who we wish to leave the show ...

Light story but strangely addictive

The story doesn't have much of a plot ... Things are going on two time zones practically 5 years apart ... First thing that appeals is pair of mature, independent and successful lady CEO with her graduating husband ...
The twist was very cute cause she was doing everything for him that we generally see CEO ML doing for their FL partner ..you know that pampering them stuff ... She got him clothes in every style .. she drops and fetches him in her car to and fro from his college ... We generally see Male CEO doing these things in other dramas ..
The romance between them was not the usual like normal couple but still very sweet with a pinch of spice to it ..like when she tries to talk him out in trying to have a baby,the situation was beautifully conveyed as how awkward she felt asking a graduating boy to get intimate ...

As far as we talk about acting and cast ..FL was better than the ML in my opinion ..may be because her character has strong shades as lady boss ...

Later on the whole abduction plot was normal nothing unique about it every drama has a hidden mystery/ past that is solved later.

Worth watching : YESSSSSSS!!!
worth rewatching : Hm!! NO ...it was a cute story I watched just leave it to that ....

Oh my my I watched half of the show for villian rest half for the ML

The main cast was amazing ...the ML FL villain vamp all of them ... And this was the show where I enjoyed watching the villian even more than the ML ... Gosh he acting and the way he delivered the script ... Mind-blowing ... The story was good ... ML is having long time crush on FL and he helps her gety ng revenge against her fiance who cheated her with her bestie ... It was so heart breaking to see how ML struggles to win her heart even after lobing and supporting her for so long ... seriously I cried everytime I watch him say " is your heart made of stone" to FL ... Poor boy ... There were practically negligible boring spots in the story it went by a consistent pace ..there were heart breaks ,romance ,fight, betrayal, office conspiracy, good girl turn bad and dynamic slap scenes ... .
I thoroughly enjoyed watching .. totally recommended..

Ludicrous story

"ML's weird syndromes nullified by FL kiss" ..he keeps her by his side for his "daily dosage" so that he can be the "CEO" ... further return or childhood fiance who he was treating like a "sister" ..second lead who wanna take his chance ... Vamp sending FL to the hotel to create chaos ... Blah blah blah ... The story is just full of cliche ...
If anyone says they haven't already watched atleast 5-6 drama on exact same theme ..I will not believe them ...either you are green to Cdrama/kdrama or you don't watch at all ...
As for the cast I didn't find any impressive faces or talent ... Nothing really appealed to me

watchable ..

i love the dramas with historical settings like this one ... story was slow but not entirely boring ... casting could have been better as jin zi xuan was not looking princess like at all she is outstanding actor but her face goes good as modern bubbly girl ... casting her for this role was not the best thing in my opinion and dont know why she and deng kai were not looking very couple like at all .. the chemistry was there in the initial episodes but it just disappear as soon as they become couple ... honestly romance was quite flat ... these two actors are very talented but as duo .. not so good.
MY FAV THING ABOUT THIS SERIES WAS IT'S OST "EMPTY CITY" what a lovely song.
and though the title is govenor's secret romance .. but there was hardly any romance and that too was not secret.

Cute ... Feel good ..short drama ...

Lovely ... Just finished watching it ... Such a cute story ..no beating around the bush ... In the beginning it might look complex as the FL has a weak character but as she comes back from the dead her personality is completely opposite the story starts today become more interesting as she tries the make up for the mistakes she committed in her past life.
Leads have a good sweet "butterflies in my stomach" chemistry. No unnecessary drama nothing ... In fact the story was quite realistic and relatable to real lives like financial crisis ... Studying for some govt exam .. mother in law's being unreasonable... Thefts and competitive business... Couple standing up of each other etc etc ... A little of everything was there.


You can watch .. you won't regret it.

Not really convinced by the plot

Though I appreciate all the strong FL stories but this one was weird. Points that I felt fall apart
1) FL or ML chemistry was totally off ...their romance sky rocketed all of sudden like there were on moments/ connecting links .. so in overall out come chemistry was off
2) the comedy punches are quite old and childish I believe the writing was too lousy to present nice humour.
3) the actors who played ML looked too immature for this character ... He seems like a high school boy wearing his father's Tux for farewell.
4) connecting links between the consecutive scenes were off ...the whole plot appeared to have missing something ..
5) and last but not the least is the irritating cowboy background music ..like do they even care to match the music along with drama setting ...how come this type of plot can have a cowboy style BG music

My patience's Slump

This drama starts off sluggishly, with the first seven episodes feeling like a test of patience. Luckily, it finally finds its rhythm though it dips back around episode twelve. ??
Park Shin Hye’s portrayal of a submissive character was something new. Although her extreme botox and altered appearance took away the charm.

Park Hyung Sik brings his familiar charisma , my darling!!! he passes his virus to every FL ( ep 11 3:00- 4:00) how come he makes all his co actresses act cute in the same way .. he did the same thing in strong woman as well ? ? ? it almost feels like the man casts a spell on all his co- actresses.


The storyline Unlike the classic ER/trauma setup was little inclined to plastic surgery a theme very relevant to current Korean medical trend( though very less to do with medicine itself . This setup brings a fresh perspective, exploring PTSD among the aesthetic surgeons and showing that even plastic surgery has its high stakes.

A few things that I find extremely disliking about this drama is
1. The character of FL bestie.. this character was so frustrating and unnecessary. I mean really this might be my personal vendetta but I don't like people who don't respect boundaries and understand when to keep things private, especially during a sensitive time for you.the ML wanted to stay by FL's side during her harsh times but this insensitive woman spoke everything out,like she is the worst.Every time this ugly woman calls the FL saying ' I am not sure if telling you this will help her or not' .. like the STFU .. if you aren't sure just let it be ...
( I have met a woman very similar to this character and watching the same crap I was beyond myself with rage I was like just write a loose plot and hit her with a truck .. damn it !!! )




2. ML’s overly calm response to the FL’s accident, which feels out of place given the situation. Honestly I wanted him to loose some cool there instead of acting all doctor-ish and explaining it to her family. In real life nobody can act this calm no matter how successful of a doctor you are.


overall I am not impressed a fairly talented cast loss it's potential to a weak plot . This storyline would have been better if created into a movie instead of full length drama.
Totally not my cup of tea , so I am not recommending this one ? ?

Third class .. bogus

I hold it till episode 13 to give this show a fair chance but honestly I regret wasting my time on this crap ... Everything from story to acting sucks ... specially the female lead her character is moronic on top her acting made is even more cringe ... I cant point a single good thing about this show ... Unnecessary conspiracy tracks and misunderstanding between the leads ..to keep them apart ... Full of over acting and over reacting ... The storyline must have written by some eight grader taking in consideration the entire plot is so childish ... Boring and pathetic

What a steaming pile of horseshit it was ...

We come across a lot of bad dramas.. but if you find the one that has everything that you possibly hate then a ranking or even 1 star feels very extra ...

Okay let's begin instead of writing boring paragraph I will put the entire review in points ..

1) below average/ average looking ML ... Say he is not bad looking but not very impressive either ... Flat face .. aloof expressions and annoyed ng character these are the things I can't tolerate in leads especially ML ..

2) the story is old fashioned ... There was absolutely nothing new about this story ..even the punches were old ... I expect scriptwriter/storywriter to atleast put something original or of their own ...but to my disappointment the dramas looks like someone wrote it by copying multiple drama script ..

3) unnecessary misunderstandings in leads and showing ML as Sigma FL as some annoying silly villager ... In my opinion this is the biggest turn off ...these days intelligent smart and independent FL are more in trend ... This story tried to deliver such FL character in the beginning after 2-3 episode she just turned some pushover ... Who has absolutely no self respect ...who forgives ML too easily ... Who has no regards for her dignity ...who keeps throwing herself on ML even when he clearly rejects her hints ... I HANDS DOWN CAN NEVER SUGGEST A DRAMA WHERE ML OR FL CHARACTER DONT DISPLAY A STRONG AND VALUABLE CHARACTER.

4)the flow of the plot which was very abrupt ... Like they are fighting like crazy in the one scene and they act all normal having dinner with each other in the next scene. Build up to connect the dots was very much missing and quite clearly visible

5) there was a lot of unnecessary screentime wasted on stupid scene. : you can literally sit on the skip button while watching it there were so much nonsense in between.

6) No SML : this story highly demands SML as the FML has a very introvert and secretive character to establish his character there is always a need to add a contrasting character that helps build a lot of sense to the story ... For example it help highlight the chemistry between FL ML

7) I slept like 4 times in between

8) no chemistry in lead
